Hotels Near Jiefangbei Pedestrian Street in Chongqing

Qiushe Hotel is located in Building D of Times Square, with an excellent location. Jiefangbei is just downstairs, making it convenient to go to any tourist attraction. The hotel staff is enthusiastic and attentive, and any problems are solved in a timely manner. The hotel facilities are generally average, and the rooms do not have platform tables, which makes it inconvenient to put boxes and backpacks. Some rooms only have a bedside table with limited space. The central air-conditioning has good hot air; the shower room is good, with plenty of hot water and no overflow; the smart toilet in the room feels good too.

Great Location, right smack at Jiefangbei and 81 Food Square is just behind the hotel’s back entrance. Realy convenient location to explore Chongqing city centre’s top spots (Shibadi, Hongyadong, 81 Square) and near Subway. Finding food is also easy since 81 square is just at the back door of the hotel and it opens until late night. To get to the hotel, ask your taxi driver stop at the Xinhua book store / Xinhua International corner and just walk 100 meters towards the Jiefang monument and the hotel entrance is on the right, next door to Post Office Coffee.

Chongin is a fabulous city to visit. Tourist Sites are all access via by metro lines. I review with three Cs Convenient location - The hotel has excellent rooms and location. Hyatt Hotel is in downtown itself—within 150 meters of People Square. The Metro is 200 meters Cleannessness- Top quality. The toilet bathroom is excellent. The room is big, and the bed is very comfortable. Courtesy- Staff all are very professional from the Front Desk, Bellboy, and Restaurant. Great Food at the Chinese restaurants of the hotel. General - Taxi drivers were courteous and honest. Merchant price tags are consistent across the same product. Food is spicy and a bit salty Chongin City is worth repeat visits.

The best Hotelview I've ever had. The rooms were tidied and cleaned perfectly. The welcoming fruits everyday were a great add-on. Generally the staff was very helpful - prolonging our stay was very easy and uncomplicated. There is no kitchen in the hotel itself, but the surroundings are filled with small restaurants for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

I loved the location so much and the front desk staff were amazing, (Sweet) even though they don’t speak english we communicated well through wechat and translate and they also helped me top up my alipay. The cleaning of the room everyday was great and I would definitely stay again for the price and location and staff!

Hotel is located in prime area of Jiefangbei near the Liberation Square. It’s very convenient and surrounding with many shops and local food. I had experienced staying here during the year end and saw many people came in the Librration square area for celebrating a year end and a new year. Staffs of hotel could not speak English but they tried to comminicate with me with the translation application. Breakfast food are provided starting at 7.00 am. but they allowed me to get in earlier at 6.30 am. even some food not completed yet because I needed to join the tour and pick up me at 7.30 am. Thanks for all there that made my trip convenient.

The hotel is in a great location with convenient transportation and many restaurants and shops around. The room was clean and tidy, the bed was comfortable, the facilities were complete, and the Wi-Fi speed was fast. Mai Mai's housekeeper was friendly and the check-in and check-out were smooth.

The room environment was excellent, and the location was very convenient. The room was clean and hygienic, and the service staff were courteous and professional. The housekeeping staff were also very friendly. On the last day of my stay, my friend was unwell, and I requested mineral water. The cleaner, upon noticing the situation, kindly provided us with six bottles. I am truly grateful for the staff’s thoughtfulness and support. I really recommend this hotel.👍

My Hotel Stay – A Wonderful Experience! What I Loved: The hotel was super easy to find—much easier than I expected! If you take Exit 6, just look to your right, and you’ll see a tall building. Enter, take the elevator to the 21st floor, and you’ll find the reception. You can also take Exit 4A, walk straight, turn left, and cross a small road to reach the same building. But I’d definitely recommend Exit 6 since it has an escalator—perfect for anyone with big luggage like me! As soon as I arrived, the staff welcomed me with a refreshing drink, which was such a nice touch. I stayed for two nights, and to my surprise, they upgraded my room to a deluxe one with a beautiful view and even a bathtub! I’m not sure why, but I was really grateful. Honestly, I would have been happy just getting a non-smoking room, so this was a lovely bonus! I was a little worried about communication at first, but the staff were so kind and patient. During check-in, they made every effort to help me, even using a translation app to make sure I understood everything. WeChat was also super helpful—it made it easy to reach the staff whenever I had any questions, and they always responded so quickly! The hotel is such great value for money. The price was very reasonable, especially considering the central location. Everything was modern, the water pressure was great, and even the hairdryer was super powerful—honestly, it felt like a five-star experience! They also offer free city tours, which is a fantastic option! I didn’t join because I wanted to explore at my own pace, but it’s definitely a nice extra service. A Couple of Suggestions: (These aren’t really complaints—just little things that could make the experience even better!) One reason I chose this hotel was the free luggage delivery service to the airport. But I later found out that it’s only available for guests with a Mainland China phone number. I totally understand that it’s probably for easier coordination, but I think it would be great if international guests could use this service too! Maybe a simple meeting point at the airport (like Exit 3 on the 4th floor of the departure terminal) could work, where guests arrive a few minutes early to pick up their bags. Or even adding the driver on WeChat could make it easier. If this service is strictly for guests with a Chinese number, it might be helpful to mention that in the booking details. In the end, I decided to store my luggage at the hotel instead, which was still very convenient! My room didn’t have a fridge. This wasn’t a big deal for me, but I noticed that the booking details mentioned one. Luckily, the weather was cool at night, so I didn’t really need it, but I can imagine it might be inconvenient in the summer. Final Thoughts: Overall, I had such a great stay and wouldn’t hesitate to give this hotel five stars! The service went beyond my expectations, and I was especially touched by the kindness of a staff member named Xiao Zao. When I picked up my luggage, he personally walked me downstairs and even gave me a little gift—such a sweet gesture! One tiny suggestion: I know the staff work really hard, and their service is already amazing, so I think they should feel confident about that! If possible, I’d recommend avoiding asking guests for immediate reviews, as some people (like me!) prefer to take their time and write something thoughtful. But honestly, with such great service, I’m sure almost every guest will leave a glowing review anyway—especially because of the wonderful staff! I’ll definitely be back.
