Premier Inn London Bank (Tower)

This hotel is just a 10 minute walk to The Tower of London, River Thames boat cruises, The Monument and just across London Bridge you have Borough market and The Shard. Perfect! The hotel was quiet and I didn’t hear any noises in my room - slept well in a very comfortable bed. The staff was all very friendly, genuine smiles and checking on our stay. The cooked breakfast is excellent value and lots of choices. Enjoyed a delicious meal in the restaurant on our last night too. There were a lot of students staying in the hotel, so the restaurant was very busy and noisy at breakfast time, so recommend staggering your time for eating (the elevators give quieter/busier time guides). Overall, we were very pleased with our choice of hotel and I would definitely return to this location.

Just back from a long weekend in London with extended family, this Premier Inn was absolutely perfect for the job! The manager on Reception kicked things off with the warmest of welcomes, bending over backwards to accommodate everyone’s needs from ages 7 to 70+. Premier Inn do an excellent job in providing no-nonsense, comfortable hotels located where you want to be and at an excellent price. The Bank (Tower) hotel is so well-located, quiet and comfortable, we all had a fabulous time. Very pleasant staff, excellent transport links and loads to see and do in the area. We’ll definitely be back and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and affordable City Break.

Difficult to write review as WiFi so poor. Can pay another £5.00 for faster wifi on top of the £180 room rate - Without breakfast!! More like a travellodge than a comfortable hotel on check-in. Premierinn taking customers for granted. Next time will take more time when making reservation.

Clean, comfortable and well designed room. Appreciated the well thought out lighting, good shower and free water and chocolate. The hotel was in a very convenient location yet was pleasantly quiet. Check in and out very quick and efficient and staff friendly and helpful. Did not eat at the hotel as prefer to try other restaurants. Believe that it is worth paying slightly more for a Premier Plus room and would stay again. However the wifi even with the `'premium log-in`' was not good at all. Seems a common complaint and a short sighted economy on Premier Inn's part.

My Daughter was running the London Marathon 2024, so primarily chose this hotel for it's location. Close to London Bridge Station(for Greenwich, start) and under a 2 mile walk from the finish on The Mall(hotels expensive nearby and underground stations mobbed).It was also 30 yards from the Marathon route, just past the 23 mile marker. We arrived at 8pm on the Saturday night before the marathon, the welcome we received was excellent(apologises to the woman, I didn't take her name). Check-in was swift and we were in our clean and tidy room,in under five minutes. I had two nights of great sleep in the comfy bed plus there was plenty of hot water for showers. One morning I had the Unlimited Cooked Breakfast for £12.99, there were plenty of hot and cold selections available, my only moan is that there was only one coffee machine and toaster, that said I was set up for the day, fully fulfilled. The location was ideal for Tower of London/Tower Bridge and across London Bridge to The Shard/ Borough Market plus Bank/ Monument Underground Stations, all under a 10 minute stroll. All in all a satisfactory stay was had in a hotel brand of a consistant standard.

A shocking lack of cleanliness: Bathroom light switch smeared with blood and something(!?) else, bathroom handle v dirty and a stan on the wall right next to the toilet which looked like someone had "sharted". I've stayed in a number of Premier Inns and have never had a cleanliness issue before but this was a shocker. Wifi was also a bit of a disaster as the hotel has practically no 4G signal, basic wifi is rubbish and even when i did pay for the "Ultimate" - it kept dropping. On the upside, the room was quiet and the bad was OK so sleep quality was not bad. Stay at the iHub in St Swithin's Lane if you can - rooms much smaller but always been clean.
