"This hotel is very distinctive in an old building, so there is no new hotel equipment except the elevator, and even the door lock is an old key door lock. Breakfast is very good and worth trying. The room is spacious and hygienic, but I am not sure if all the rooms are not equipped with air conditioning. Our room is not, so the hotel has two fans in the room. The traffic is also very convenient, two minutes downstairs to the tram stop to go to various attractions and stations."
"The location of the hotel is also very good, the facilities are also very good, and the restaurant on the first floor is also very good, but I chose the opera scenery and paid for it, but I can only see the trees in front of the hotel. Although I made a complaint, the hotel also made an opera I said it was a view, and I didn't say I wanted a high floor, so I said it was assigned like this. The opera view is covered with trees, but how is the opera view! ? And even if it's not a high floor, I thought it was good to see, so if I knew it, I would ask you to arrange a high floor. It almost ruined the anniversary. Please refer to those who want to see the opera view. The picture was taken in the room I stayed in.
And the shower room was clean, but the sewer smelled bad. Just closed the door, it didn't smell, so I went over, but please refer to those who use the shower room."
"Very good hotel. Convenient location: there are tram stops nearby. In this hotel we rented a room similar to a small apartment. There is a kitchen (refrigerator, stove, kettle, dishes). This was exactly what we needed. We wanted to live in Vienna, go to the store and cook our own food. The owner of the hotel is a responsive person. My plans changed several times and each time he met me halfway, for which I am so grateful to him."

"Modern, clean, in a central location, yet quiet (rooms to an inner court). Beds were comfy.
Breakfast buffet was great, with fresh scrambled eggs, bacon, yoghurt, cereal and different types of bread and cheese/cold cuts.
Team was friendly. I would definitely return.

"The room was renovated 10 years ago and it's time to update the facilities. However, the hotel front desk still attaches great importance to the guests' check-in experience. When I checked in, the room next door was still making loud noises at 12 o'clock one night, so I called the front desk directly to complain. Within half an hour, The room next door was silent. Later, the front desk took the initiative to ask if this matter had affected the check-in experience. They could only say that it was not true. It was just that their front desk had zero tolerance for excessive things and took the initiative to stop practical actions to solve the problem."
"It's far from downtown, so you'll need to take a train or taxi to see the sights.
The hotel itself was very clean and beautiful, but the service varied depending on the staff.
Overall I am very satisfied."
"Decent hotel at a great location.
4 mins walk from Schottentor station and the Straßebahn. You can also walk to most touristy locations.
You do pay a lot for the location though. My room was super tiny and the bed wasn’t the best. The breakfast is mediocre though…. I was very disappointed by how tiny the selection is. Do NOT pay for breakfast. It’s not worth it at all and there are plenty of places you can go to nearby.
If I come back to Vienna, I wouldn’t book this hotel again. It was way too expensive for what you get.
Again, you pay for the location."
"Hotel Ambassodor. Visited for a Christmas holidays. Excellent location, right in a center of pedestrian area in the center of old town. We had a suit on the sixth floor, under the roof with a view of St. Stefan. Two TVs, kitchen amenities, did not need to ask for a kettle. It was available along with coffee maker loaded with capsules. Excellent breakfast, Good service, clean suit. Quite satisfied."
"Short trip with friends, the hotel's location was ideal for sightseeing, the subway was just a few minutes away. The food in the bar wasn't great for my taste, breakfast was OK. The room was too stuffy, the air conditioning didn't manage to provide good air, it wasn't clean, the cleaning staff only made the beds and nothing else. Because of our complaint, we were exempted from the underground car park fees.
Conclusion: if you value clean and well-air-conditioned rooms, look for another hotel."
"Wonderful stay at this lovely property, well situated in the heart of Vienna. Impeccable service, spotless room, wonderful breakfast! Returning back to this property a numerous times!"

Outstanding
TTantanThe hotel is very comfortable, clean and tidy. I also like the toiletries. The bed is soft and comfortable. After all, the sign is there. I like it.

Very Good
GGuest UserPerfect location, especially easy access to the Vienna airport which takes only 20 minutes. Walking distance to the city centre.
Big rooms with spacious toilet, and perfect room temperature.
Very friendly staff both at the reception and room service( shoutout to the kind Bulgarian lady for our room service)
Delicious varied breakfast buffet!
The only things that could improve is the gym equipment, a few weights and/or kettlebells would be a lot more helpful.
Also, adding a separate bin for papers in the rooms helps with recycling.
Overall, I totally recommend this hotel
LLambertlanboThe location seems to be a bit biased, but fortunately, I am used to commuting in China for a long time. Need to change the subway to the city.
Hotel service is OK, conversion head is free to borrow. It is all rooms that want a view of the Danube River, you have to add money!
European hotel rooms are the same size, there is a shopping mall downstairs, and it is OK to buy fast food.
DM supermarkets can buy daily necessities!
AAloysius CheangThe original room allocated was dirty and they did not service it on my first day. They changed the room upon my feedback and there forth cleanliness was up to standard. Though I always find a variety of bugs and insects in my room every day, from a spider the size of half my palm to beetle etc. Guess that is a result of being too close to the garden?
AAnxious but kindEffortless check-in and check-out.
Clean.
The location is great—right next to the Vienna Central Railway station, and it is also walkable to the city center.
Enjoyed our stay. Everything was perfect.
The price is also really great!
CCesar PardoLocation is a usually the best thing of this place. Right in front of the metro station. Price always is good enough for the Austrian standards plus breakfast is decent with flexible hours.
Worst thing? Service without doubts, in the evening there is a guy that it might give you a hand but his attitude is one of the worst I’ve experienced in a hotel. It’s a pity because the hotel is actually good if you’re looking for an affordable place to stay in Vienna.
LLDP-VIENNAI stayed at this hotel twice within just a matter of days while having medical treatments in Vienna. The 1st was from 18-27 October '24 (9 nights) then again from 03-21 November '24 (18 nights). I must say that I am quite satisfied on both occasions altho' I would have appreciated it more, had I received an added cleaning service. Having stayed that long during each visit, it was a bit disappointing that the chambermaid showed up to clean only twice during my 2nd stay!!!
Other than that, it is highly recommendable due to its great location and fair price. I will definitely return again in April for my follow up treatments.
GGuest UserA gem not far from the city centre, there is a tram station just 1 minute walk from the hotel. The breakfast is plentiful and diverse, staff is friendly.
For sure we gonna stay here next when in Vienna again.
JJ FerGreat location , easy to find. Essential needs met within studio flats. No extras (teas/coffees/ water bottles, which would have brought this to 5*)
Would be better to have check in machine operate consistently in English as was a mix of German / English which was a little challenging after a long trip!
