"Facilities: Building 3, room amenities are average, but the bedding is good. The corner room has great natural light, and the breakfast restaurant is ordinary. Next time, I'd like to try other buildings. Cleanliness: The room's cleanliness was decent, but the restaurant's hygiene wasn't great. The cups weren't clean. Environment: Superb! The Chinese garden is beautiful, and each building serves a functional purpose, feeling very lived-in and authentic. You don't even need to go to the scenic area to experience the Chinese aesthetics of Slender West Lake, and Quyuan is an excellent restaurant. Service: I realized I'd forgotten my cherries in the fridge after checking out. I contacted the hotel, and they kindly held them at the front desk for me. The service I received throughout this process was excellent."

"I highly recommend this hotel for several reasons: 1. I'm a light sleeper when traveling for business and need a very quiet environment. The manager switched me to a quiet room, and I slept wonderfully. 2. All the staff members, from the front desk to the manager and even the security guard at the entrance, were incredibly friendly, greeting guests warmly and always ready to help. It's the first time I've ever felt so completely at home in a hotel. 3. The breakfast was delicious, and they even offer free late-night snacks. 4. The bathrooms are well-equipped with disposable toilet seat covers, and the 'Ermupu' facial towels are a nice touch. Strongly recommended! It's much better than the Hilton I stayed at last time. Ctrip's hotel rankings are truly reliable, highly recommend! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 It almost feels like the legendary Pang Dong Lai business model I've heard about. Definitely recommend!"

"This is a great Republic of China-era hotel, tucked away in a quiet spot yet still central. The courtyard is very unique, and the hotel's location is excellent. It's about 800 meters from popular attractions like Geyuan Garden, Heyuan Garden, Dongguan Street, Pishi Street, Dongguan Ancient Ferry, and Xing Street – all within easy reach. There are also plenty of dining options; the famous Erchun Fried Rice is right next door, and old brands like Fuchun Teahouse, Maopailou, and Gonghechun are all nearby. It's incredibly convenient for an after-dinner stroll. The service is excellent, and the rooms are clean and hygienic. Located at the entrance of a small alley, it's wonderfully peaceful and beautiful. If time permits, brewing a pot of tea and sitting in the courtyard to soak in the 'slow Yangzhou' vibe would be truly delightful!"

"This is the most comfortable hotel we've stayed at, and the kids absolutely loved it! Besides the hot springs, there are also small animals, arcade games for children, and even a beach, making it truly ideal for families of all ages. What's even better is that Slender West Lake is directly opposite the hotel, just a short walk away – super convenient! Every staff member at the hotel was also incredibly friendly and approachable. Knowing we had children, they thoughtfully and proactively provided kids' slippers and toiletries, which was a very kind gesture. Overall, our stay was very comfortable!"

"The hotel has a very good standard of hygiene, friendly & efficient front desk, helpful staff who took initiatives to help with guests'luggage. The bed is very comfortable, the towel & bedsheets super quality. The only issue is whether the hotel should consider implementing better security such as the designated floor of the guest room via the room card. The room corridor may need a little brighter. The hair dryer in my room is Dyson as some review mentioned Dyson hair dryer provided."

"The hotel's location is excellent, right between Dongguan Street and Slender West Lake. You can get into Slender West Lake for free before 6 AM for morning exercise, though I'm not sure if that's a temporary event or a permanent policy. Manager Xiao He was very polite, so it's a full five-star rating."

"My whole stay at this one of the best ones i’ve ever stayed. Staff are all very friendly and approachable. And almost all of them are courteous towards me and my family. One of the Staffer, Wan Bin, was meticulous in handling my case and handled it professionally. Overall, the stay, food and and hotel staff is very helpful. This stay is highly recommended."

"A very satisfying stay, my girlfriend and I kept exclaiming that it was worth it! I'm such a good choice hhh The B&B is located on Dongguan Street, which is very convenient for travel. The entire B&B was renovated from a private house in the Qing Dynasty, retaining the characteristics of Hui-style architecture. As soon as I entered, I was stunned by the elegant environment of the public area, the fusion of classic and modern, and every corner is very stylish🤩Sitting in the small courtyard, I felt that time slowed down The breakfast was also a super surprise, the classic Yangzhou morning tea, the garden window view is unique👍"

"The hotel's location is excellent, within walking distance to Slender West Lake, with beautiful ginkgo and maple trees lining the path, offering endless scenic views. Just a few shops down from the hotel is Jiahe Soy Milk, which is convenient for both lunch and dinner. There's a bus stop called Siwang Pavilion right in front of the hotel. It's very convenient as you can take a bus from Yangzhou East Station and get off here, then walk just a few minutes to reach the hotel. The hotel is also not far from attractions like Dongguan Street, Caiyi Street, and Shi Kefa Memorial Hall, all within walking distance. The front desk staff were very friendly and provided a lot of assistance, thank you. The hotel breakfast was plentiful, with many options, and very delicious. We stayed at this hotel for several nights and enjoyed different food every day. The hotel's restaurant, self-service laundry room, gym, and children's play area are all located on the 11th floor. Everything here was wonderful and added so much to our vacation. We truly loved everything about this place. Thank you."

I saw on Ctrip before that the prices of Yangzhou Wuyi Hotel are flying high. Even far away places cost about 1,000. This price may seem expensive at first, but it is still okay after comparing all aspects. I used to stay in chain hotels and didn’t believe in folk inns, but after seeing it online, I couldn’t forget it. I thought it was a super interesting inn, so I decided to book it. Location: Pi Shi Street, 200 meters from Guangling Youyan, 200 meters from Pi Shi Street, about 1 kilometer from Dongguan Street, and about 300 meters from Heyuan. Overall, the attractions are all around, so you can come back to rest after a while and go out again. It only takes about 20 minutes to walk to Wenchang Pavilion. Looking down from the hotel, there are classical houses, which are very beautiful. Environment: The room is quite big, with a simple wooden table and bed, Dyson air purifier, Dyson hair dryer, tea, snacks, and a small music box. There are many customized and unique little things. I am the type who eats, drinks, and lies down when I arrive at a place. I feel comfortable lying here for two days. Others: There are not many rooms in the hotel, so it is also very quiet, and breakfast is provided. There is a large hall where you can drink coffee, tea, play the piano, and watch projections. The store also made a guide to the surrounding delicious places. When you leave, you can also prepare small specialties and a custom canvas bag. Its location is incredibly convenient; Pi Shi Street is within walking distance, and Slender West Lake is just a 10-15 minute taxi ride away. The room amenities are very thoughtful, including a mini-fridge and a disinfection cabinet, plus they provided two key cards. Breakfast was also plentiful. The lobby offers complimentary coffee and snacks, creating a warm and relaxing ambiance. Many thanks to the staff for their enthusiastic welcome. We look forward to staying here again!

GGuest UserDisappointing Stay at Zhengyiju Cultural Guesthouse I recently stayed at Zhengyiju Cultural Guesthouse in Yangzhou and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. The room had significant temperature issues—it was too hot near the ceiling but uncomfortably cold near the floor, making it impossible to relax. Additionally, the sink in the bathroom was poorly designed, causing water to splash everywhere when using the faucet. The service was another letdown. The staff seemed indifferent and unhelpful, which made the stay even more unpleasant. To make matters worse, despite paying a deposit, I had to repeatedly ask for it to be returned, which was both inconvenient and frustrating. Overall, I cannot recommend this guesthouse based on my experience. There are clear areas for improvement, especially in terms of room comfort and customer service.
