"Hotel was lovely, right on the beach and could to the local shops. We had a terrible issue with flies, and even though we ensured all the doors and windows remained closed, these tiny flies still appeared from the drains. We had to ask the staff to come every evening to help (which they did) but it wasn’t the best welcome back after a day out to have flies on all our personal belongings, especially when the main area was in the bathroom."

"It was our first time staying here, very quiet and peaceful the breakfast area was really amazing, beach view and very peaceful! ☺️ also, the amenities they had like kayaking and golf ⛳️ areas was pretty cool too. It’s really near to the pier so it was very easy to get back home after the trip. Also after you exit the hotel and reach the road there’s a gasoline stand PTT and 7-11 so it was an easy access to that too, very convenient."

"We have spent 6 nights in Santhiya Tree Koh Chang, even though it's rainy season, we still LOVE it there! Design: we stay at the Pool Suite Water View, almost whole building made by carved wood, traditional Thai design and lots of character, looks very beautiful & classic. Staffs: very friendly and excellent service Pools: 60m long pool at the breakfast restaurant with some seats facing the pool & peaceful mountain view. Another pool right in front of the beach & close to the villas. Both pools clean & big. Santhiya Tree use pa kao ma thai sarong as beach towel, love it! Food: delicious buffet breakfast & lots of variety. Food & drinks at the Chantara Restaurant is high quality & very yummy. The duo who sings at the restaurant are brilliant singers, you won't get bored with their performance. Room: spacious & clean, lots of electric plugs & even beach bag for use. They burn lemongrass/ citronella oil in the bathroom to keep mozzies away & room smells good. Massage at their spa: very good & reasonable price, sound of the waves makes the massage so relaxing, must try. Shuttle bus to main street: every 2 hrs they can drop you or pick up from main street as there resort is not at the road side. Not sure if it's because of low season, hope the shuttle service can be more frequent. Thank you everybody at Santhiya Tree Koh Chang for the great service and smiles. Will definitely come back for another holiday and highly recommend if you're looking for a fantastic place to stay! This beautiful place takes your stress away :) P.S. there's a small part of the road right outside the resort leading to the entrance is unsealed with lots of potholes, pretty bumpy for cars and their shuttle bus, suggest Santhiya Tree do something with it."

"The best place to stay on vacation in Koh Chang. We've been here so many time and never want to stay anywhere else. KC have everything you need and all staff have service mind. The beach is very clean and no stone. They just renovated the new breakfast and restaurant area which is very nice."

"We've been coming to this hotel since it was names the Sea View. The new management has done some great things, but hopefully they'll continue their improvements. The service is stellar, from the moment you walk through the door, to the time you leave, everyone is helpful, professional, and happy to help. The beach is clean, the area is quiet, and it's never crowded. Ideal for anyone looking for a calm place to read and relax. Every room faces the ocean, and the views are stunning. The two areas of improvement are: Renovating the rest of building B. It seems that the first floor has been renovated, but floors two and three are still the same ones like before. Improving the breakfast. The previous owners offered the best breakfast on the island. The current breakfast seems a bit quickly put together, not befitting a place like the Sylvan. In spite of these two things, we would stay there again and again. I hope this helps."

"The hotel is not bad, there is nowhere to swim, the beach is rocky. A moped and nearby beaches help out. When booking, a double or two single beds were indicated, we chose two single beds, in the end we stayed in a room with a double bed. A small thing ruined the birthday. The trip hotline did not solve the problem, nor did the hotel administration. They cleaned every day, the pool is not big, the breakfasts are tolerable."

"Professional service. Maybe the hotel is a little smaller. The few days I went with my wife there were hardly any customers. . . Exclusive access to the rooftop swimming pool. . . . . Very cool. . . Hahaha"

"Given a beautiful plant with very beautiful garden, unfortunately everything in repair-being condition, it could be a top plant if you invest some work ...such as. Sleep rooms or not put together furniture but renew or supplement suitably ... all small things but many for it. The staff is super and breakfast is sufficient and good."

"Originally booked on booking, the reservation was unsuccessful. I specially came to Trip.com to see if there is this hotel. Because Xiangdao is relatively niche, the reservation was successful and the date was wrong. The housekeeper also helped to contact the hotel for more check-in dates. It was still a big Trip.com! The hotel is too much beyond expectations. I thought it would be open for a long time, but the price is very high. I have my own private beach. It is great to watch the sunset. It is a foreigner's holiday. I am very good at the front desk. I have heard the best Thai English. After returning home, I still miss her a little, and I will choose brail when I have the opportunity to go to Xiangdao again."
