My family and I have been staying at the Hilton Columbia Center multiple times per year over the last ten years plus. The location is excellent for events at USC and plenty of good dining choices in walking distance. On a previous stay we had an unfortunate experience with a front desk employee that was quickly made right by management which was very much appreciated. Our last stay on September 10th the hotel and surrounding businesses were very busy with a active weekend of events in Columbia. Two areas of the Hilton that very much impressed during our stay. The front desk representative Eric was very helpful, customer focused and a first class representative of this Hilton hotel. Secondly the valet service appeared to be short staffed when we checked in, however they were and always have been one of the best at handling cars and being focused on service. In summary a very good hotel and those Hilton employees and services we came in contact did not disappoint.

The room is comfortable and clean. It's a new hotel. It's very suitable for a family of three. I will stay here again when I come to this city

The hotel is on the edge of the highway. There is free parking. The rooms are clean and odor-free, and the beds are relatively large. Breakfast is relatively simple. There are Starbucks and Chick-fil-A on the side, but there are no other shopping places. Generally speaking, it is especially suitable for guests passing by overnight.

The first challenge here was access. The hotel fronts on Gervais Street, but you have to access the parking lot from Lincoln Street. They have gated parking, but you can press a button to be buzzed in when you first arrive. After that, your room key can be used to access the lot. The sign said that guest parking was $14 per day. Check in was fairly quick. We got a room on the 4th floor (of 5). They had multiple luggage carts of at least 2 different types (I saw at least 4 total), which I pay somewhat more attention to now after staying in a larger place that only had 1... The hotel seemed quiet. Rooms toward the back would probably help in this regard. The location is on a main street in town, about 2 - 3 blocks from the state capitol building complex. It is a short walk (5 minutes or less) to a large number of restaurants or bars in the area. If you are here on a weekend, the Soda City Market is located on (mostly closed for just pedestiran use) Main Street starting about 5 blocks away. Breakfast was included with the stay. It started at 6 a.m. on the Saturday we were there for it. I'd say it was about average for what hotels are providing now, post-Covid. I had enough to eat, anyway. Our room was fine; we only had one bath towel for some reason, but we didn't notice until it wasn't convenient to request a 2nd one. The bed was comfortable. I've stayed in 3 different hotels now in / near Columbia. For staying in the walkable radius of downtown, this is a good option.

A great replacement for a bad hotel down the road. I had a reservation at the Fairfied on Blarney. I arrived to a loud and rowdy gathering in the parking lot. I immediately called Marriott and booked this hotel. This property has undergone a fairly recent reservation. The staff was courteous and responsive. I was amazed by coffee available at the lounge. It was as good as fresh coffee at a Starbucks store. The room was clean and quiet. A great stay after a bad experience. The property had the feel of a much higher priced hotel.

Stayed here for a Gamecocks football game. Great to avoid the traffic. Staff were helpful and friendly and the room had one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in.

Best around!! And the food was awesome. The cooks are very nice and friendly also the staff was very nice. The hotel was very clean and had everything we needed and more.
