The hotel is located on the banks of the Arno River. The main entrance of the hotel is directly opposite the French consulate. There is a small square in front of the hotel. You can temporarily park your car temporarily and open small markets on weekends. Five minutes walk along the river bank is Uffizi Gallery, Old Bridge! The window opened in the room is directly opposite the Baihua Cathedral, Giotto's Bell Tower, and the church can be opened to the full view of the church. The left hand old bridge and the right hand Holy Trinity Bridge, the view is excellent! The bedding is comfortable, the room area is relatively large in Italy, classical and luxurious. The only dissatisfaction was that the booking fee was clearly the money for the river view room, but the front desk said that the reservation was only for a superior room. But polite and old-fashioned at the same time, because I emphasized that if it was n’t for the river view room, there would be no meaning to live here. The front desk said that I was sorry the room was full, and I could upgrade to the river view room on the balcony of the administrative floor if I added 200 euros. After expressing dissatisfaction, I asked to wait at the front desk for a while, but also forced them to check the room again, and finally got this river-view room without replenishment! I don't know if this is the case, it is Ctrip or the hotel routine.

All staff so extraordinarily accommodating rooms beautiful and comfortable with every amenity buffet breakfast extensive delicious with healthy options bar and dinner very special beautifully decorated the location is slightly out of the action but its a lovely walk thru the narrow streets. I arrived with my septuagenarian parents on April 27 for a week-long stay. The hotel provided us with the right room classification on arrival, but I was concerned that the suite was single bathroom instead of two and the closet space was not optimal for our needs. Annamaria, Victoria and Samuele stand out as front office staff who listened and acted swiftly to help address our request for help and resolved the issue the next day. That was the first wow moment of our stay. I also recommend the breakfast (came with our reservation package) and you should take advantage of the Rooftop Bar, the view of the Duomo and across the city 360 degress is suberb. After 10+ visits to Florence, this hotel has become my new preferred location and I anticipate returning here in the years to come.

This is a lovely, clean hotel with good facilities and location and an excellent breakfast. It has a very traditional decor, with a modern bathroom. Our room was pleasant enough but the window faced a wall and had huge shutters which we couldn't open. Hence, there was hardly any natural light in the room. I also found the staff a bit unfriendly, especially at the reception desk. There was no greeting if you walked past, and they did seem slightly condescending - not the usual friendliness you would expect on a reception desk. The staff at breakfast were much nicer. I liked this hotel, but a little friendliness and a smile go a long way and would have enhanced our stay.

The location is excellent I walked everywhere I wanted to go. The Uffizi Gallery, the Florence Cathedral, and the Leonardo da Vinci museum were not very far. There was also an excellent gelato place just across the river. Other than the location there was nothing amazing, and they charge for everything, from even checking in there to storing bags. Breakfast was free, but it was small and only served for an hour from 9:30-10:30. I like to get out around 8 before things get too busy, so this was not ideal. I ended up doing something early and coming back for a later breakfast. This hostel is fine, a little expensive, but not horrible.

Perfect location, amazing service, and outstanding decor! This boutique hotel is well worth a visit. The location is amazing, with beautiful views over the river and a short walk to all of the main sights. The decor is tasteful and of a very high standard. This was our first visit to Florence and we are keen to return. What made this so special was the service we received from our host and Aliche, a young lady that works here. On arrival, Aliche checked us in and advise us of the best times to take advantage of the sunset from our balcony. In addition, Aliche asked if we had plans for the next day and then went on to book tickets for a museum and Boboli Gardens, which were beautiful! Breakfast was not included, but we were recommended a nearby cafe used by all the locals, which was fabulous! (GAMBERI) When Aliche realised we were celebrating a birthday, they kindly arranged antipasti and wine for us when watching the sunset. Our whole visit was amazing and if you are visiting Florence we would recommend staying here!

The included breakfast was very fresh and there was enough variety of hot and cold items to make a complete meal. This boutique hotel is easy walking distance from the Florence train station, which makes it an ideal hub for exploring the entire country. I loved The Grand Hotel Adriatico three years ago and it was just as great this time as well.
