"Stopped off here on the way to Cornwall and again on the way back. Very nice hotel with good quality rooms. The bed was comfy and the rainfall shower was really good. Easy check in. Free tea and filtered coffee in the room and at reception."

"The hotel and rooms are novel and comfortable in design. However, the toilet in the room is made of translucent glass and lacks privacy. In addition, the floor bathtub does not have a shower curtain/bath screen, so the shower water will flow out of the toilet along the floor. This design is very stupid.
There are not many choices in the hotel buffet breakfast, and there are many people, so you need to queue up, and there are not enough people, so you can buy it without adding money."

"The hotel was not the best Premier Inn I have used. There was no restaurant facility and the interior corridors and stairwells felt dark and rundown. Bed, as ever, was very comfortable, and the bathroom very clean. Also, a lift would be useful."

"Lovely hotel housed in a beautiful old building with delightful city garden. Good proximity to motorway, and easy drive to city centre if needed. Continental breakfast was good value at 12 pounds. Service was very friendly. Parking place included and decent wifi. Couldn't have asked for more for the price."

"I and my husband had a really awesome experience staying at Double Tree. Staff greeted us warmly at the reception check-in counter. After checking-in, we even each got a really tasty chocolate chip cookies. The hotel room was clean and spacious. The gym is well equipped. The parking needs to be paid for though, it's 8 pound which cover 24 hours of parking and they will ask you to pay at check in."
