GGuest UserThe B&B owner is super nice! We were upgraded to a bigger room because the room was not cleaned on the day we checked in. This B&B has no shortcomings in terms of geographical location, hygiene, facilities, etc. The proprietress will pick you up and drop you off at the ancient city and the farm. There was a particularly warm library, and we spent the entire afternoon there on our first day. The room is very large and has all the necessary facilities. The entire homestay is so beautiful that it looks great no matter how you take photos of it. There are some small animals on the farm on the mountain. The calves and lambs all look very healthy. The whole homestay gives people a very relaxing atmosphere. You can take pictures of the stars from the rooftop of the restaurant. There is a large field at the door, and the view is super good without any obstruction. Because they are the first one at the entrance of the village, other B&Bs probably don’t have such a good view. The breakfast provided by the B&B is super delicious, with fresh milk that was just squeezed that day and a variety of fresh vegetables. If you don't want to go out for lunch or dinner, the B&B can also provide it. The meals are all fresh, and the vegetables just picked from the field will be super delicious if you just stir-fry them. The staff are also very friendly. If I return to Shaxi Ancient Town for tourism, I will definitely stay at their place again.

FfoodietravelThe apartment is very clean and big. Very spacious and suitable for family. There's a full kitchen for if you want to cook or have a meal in the apartment. Washing machine is also available, which makes it super convenient. The service was great from the staff. Although location was a bit confusing to find, the staff came out and led our driver to the right place for check in. You can see Cangshan and erhai from the apartment. There's not a lot of food places around as the apartment is on a small mountain apartment complex. However ordering take out is very convenient from your room. Overall a great stay.

DDELWYNTI had an amazing stay at Anyu Dali, and their hospitality truly exceeded my expectations. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly helpful, assisting us with our luggage and even coordinating with the Didi driver when we were rushing to catch our railway. They went above and beyond by providing weather updates for our next destination, Lijiang, and noticing that we were unprepared for the cold, they thoughtfully gave us heat pads. As first-time guests, we were treated to complimentary afternoon tea and breakfast, as well as four free laundry items for washing. The welcome gift was a lovely touch, and they even prepared a warm nighttime drink before bedtime, making our stay feel extra special. What really stood out was their attention to detail—even knowing that we would be staying at Anyu Lijiang next, they arranged to give us our farewell gift there, considering our luggage was already full. The level of service here surpasses that of many well-known hotels, and I will definitely choose Anyu again the next time I visit China. Highly recommended for those who appreciate genuine hospitality!

JJane.TI recently stayed at a hotel in Dali, Yunnan, and had an overall pleasant experience. The cleanliness of the room and common areas was impressive — everything was well-maintained and tidy, which made the stay comfortable and relaxing. The service stood out as one of the highlights. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always willing to help with directions or local recommendations. They made check-in and check-out smooth and stress-free. But would like to comment on the photoshooting service that this hotel provided, although they stated it’s free, but each room ONLY FREE 5 PIECES NON EDIT photos no matter how many days you stay. So please don’t ask for this service if you don’t want your pocket to have a hole 🤣, would recommend you to have the traditional costume shoot in Lijiang or Shangrila which will cost in cheaper price where they can provide costume rental and full make up. This hotel they charge a very high price for the photoshooting if you want to buy the photos from them. Overall, I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Lijiang, if they like photoshooting. Or else you can stay in other better choices hotels.

GGuest UserI stayed in a very cost-effective homestay in Dali. The environment is very beautiful. There is a hydrangea garden that is very suitable for taking pictures. There is also a tea room. You can drink tea in the afternoon and look at the bottomless sea on the terrace. The room facilities are very good, equipped with a Dyson hair dryer. The toiletries should also be branded and easy to use. There are also electric cars available to go around the sea nearby, recommended!

RR.T.xDuring my recent stay at this hotel I had an excellent experience. The hotel itself was modern and spacious, offering all the comfort I needed. It was also located just outside the ancient town, which was only a short five-minute walk away, making it very convenient. There were also plenty of food options nearby, so I never had to worry about where to eat (thought honestly even if the restaurants nearby are not your liking it’s quite easy to get food delivered using one of the food delivery apps). What truly set this place apart was the exceptional service from the manager. She was genuinely friendly and incredibly helpful, going out of her way to ensure I had a great stay. Since I arrived two days before the May Day holiday, she advised me to plan my trip around Er Hai Lake a day early to avoid the holiday crowds. I’m so grateful for this advice because my trip around the lake was smooth and enjoyable, with minimal crowds. By the time I was heading back to the hotel, I could already see the traffic building up with the incoming holiday tourists and I can only imagine how bad the traffic was around the lake the next day. According to the driver it is not uncommon to encounter standstill traffic at around parts of the lake requiring around 2-3 hours to clear during the peak periods. Not only did she provide valuable advice, but she also arranged a driver for my lake trip on very short notice, and at a price much better than what I could find elsewhere. Her local knowledge didn’t end there—she recommended great places to eat and gave me tips on where to buy local specialties and what to avoid, which really helped me make the most of my time in Dali. One general tip would be to be selective of the stores in the ancient town as they might not offer the best value. I would however recommend adding the hotel on WeChat prior to arriving just in the event that you encounter some difficulty in locating the hotel since it is not located along the main road, there is however direct road access to the main door of the hotel. Overall, the hospitality here was outstanding, and I genuinely felt well taken care of. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Dali.

GGuest UserOne of the most pleasant homestays I have ever stayed in Dali! It is the ultimate in ”sea view” and ”relaxation”. Open the door and you can see the same frame of Cangshan and Bohai Sea. Sitting in the yard and drinking tea to see the clouds and clouds. In the evening, you can go to the ecological corridor to ride a bicycle and enjoy the beautiful scenery of Bohai Sea along the way. The design of the room is simple, the bedding is soft like a cloud, and even the shower gel is a faint tea fragrance. The boss is super enthusiastic and will recommend the niche cycling route. The freshly roasted milk fan and thin bean powder around the hotel are absolutely amazing! I stayed here for three days and was completely cured by a slow pace.

AAnonymous UserGreat location—tucked right in the heart of the bustling 古城, yet surprisingly quiet and peaceful inside. Once again, excellent service from 即下山—consistent, warm, and reliable. You’ve definitely gained a new fan! That said, the 古城 property feels a bit like the forgotten child of the brand. The fixtures are showing their age and could really use a refresh to match the charm and quality of the experience elsewhere.

GGuest UserFirst, the correct name of the hotel is Xiting not Yuting. There was a bit of misunderstanding over which room we booked, which I take to be the result of language communication between Trip.com and the hotel. But the manager was very sweet and Accommodating. The rooms are lovely and it’s in a good location in the old city but relatively quiet.
