The room was very lighting, big and beautiful views at night. Very clean and the staff was so so helpful. They helped us to book a taxi to go to The Hanging temple and buy tickets. Totally recommended. We will come back. The manager was so friendly.

The quietness in the downtown area is particularly pleasant on the lounge chair on the second floor at night. I took my children around before the peak of the summer vacation. There were relatively few people. It was great to live in the ancient city. There was a beer music festival next to it. I ate a barbecue by the way. The hotel is not big, but there are some, the decoration is relatively new, it is recommended.

The overall environment is good, with a relaxed feeling of vacation. But the room is really hot, the sun room effect and the air conditioner is turned on, the air is not cold air, and I was woken up by the heat several times at night. When I checked out, the front desk staff asked about the housing experience, and the answer was ”Datong city uniformly sends warm air”. The sound insulation of the washbasin in the room is not good, and the sound of washing water running next door can be heard very clearly, which may be due to this room type. The mattress is also a bit soft, which is not very friendly to patients with lumbar pain. Meals: I thought I had breakfast in this building, but in fact, I had to go to Quanji next door. The accommodation experience is quite fresh, but I feel that the hotel as a whole is still not mature enough, and many hardware facilities still need to be improved, which cannot be compensated by a ”small degree”. You might want to think twice before ”repurchasing”.

Inside the ancient city wall, it's a 5-minute walk from the Drum Tower. It's very convenient. The boss and his wife are very welcoming! The boss said that the double bed in our house cost 150,000 yuan, no wonder it was so comfortable to lie down on! The condition of the house is indeed very good! They are all intelligent, and the bathroom ware is all from Jiumu brand. I am very willing to buy it! The boss also arranged a drop-off service for us on the return trip, which was very considerate! The boss now has three stores in the ancient city. I would like to experience the Huayan Temple store next time I come. It is indeed the number one B&B in Datong! Well-deserved this name👍

Wenda and all of her colleagues were wonderful! English is spoken here. Fantastic service, friendly, helpful, very clean and spacious rooms, really nice view over the river and at night with all of the lights. Breakfast is good, the facilities are clean and presentable. The room was quiet and the window can be opened if you want fresh air or to cool down the room a bit, the ac works too to cool it down in winter but that’s recirculated air with some people smoking in non-smoking rooms (typical). Our room did not smell which was great and although we had neighbours we could not hear them, so good for light sleepers. Only downside is the bed is firm. Quick 10 minute didi to the ancient city, malls, delicious lunch and food places. The hotel organised a driver to take us to the hanging temple, yungang grottoes and then to a delicious local restaurant very affordable, helpful, reliable and kind driver (WeChat: 永恒). Also recommend going to the art gallery and museum only 10 mins away. It’s a good location.

Absolutely magic to walk in the area, and in the hotel.. It is very quiet, romantic and peaceful. Our bed was very confortable and our daughter was so happy with all kids attentions there is around the hotel. Everyone is so helpful although if not English speakers (thanks translation app). They asked our guide how to improve their breakfast by bringing western touch even if their local breakfast is already complete and delicious: what a surprise to see the next morning this touch on our breakfast tray. It is very clean, and well renovated. We highly recommend a stay here.!!

They helped us lead the way to Huiquan Temple and told the temple story. The temple was very effective. We also went to visit it the next day. At noon, I went to the picking garden to pick watermelons, which was very sweet. Many of the surrounding attractions are mostly scenic belts. There are Yongguling, Zhenchuan Great Wall, Hongshiya Scenic Area, and also close to the Great Wall Tourist Highway Line. The scenery along the way is beautiful. The most impressive is the food and sunset bar of the homestay. The sunset is beautiful. There is a unique atmosphere for outdoor barbecue at night. The night is quiet. The most bright thing may be our song at the ktv in the hotel. I am afraid that it will alarm the villagers, hahahaha. A good trip, you can go again if you have time.
