"Wonderful hotel - great location and also the facilities are great.
The only issue is when the hotel is full - there are insufficient Beach towels. it doesn't help that most people take more than expected ie 3/4 more per person rather than one per person. We had to wait the whole day to get a clean towel. ( speaking to other guests - they collected their towels @ 7.30am or the night before...) . Would recommend that management bring in a CARD system for beach towels so that everyone has an equal allocation( when it is not full you can revert to the current system. )
Guest relations ( Marcia) is amazing and recommend speaking to her about anything local. She can advise you and help whenever possible.
the biggest positive is the FOOD - it was amazing and the freshest of the cooking was visibly seen.
the bar was quick to respond to drinks orders. the only issue is the amount of paperwork they need as most guests are on All- inclusive yet it was requested that the room number be given every time you ordered a drink. Perhaps management can review this? let the staff see the BANDS to decide which needs food orders or not"
"Swahili Beach Resort is a great all inclusive resort in Diani Beach in Kenya. It's perfect as a base for staying in the area, with everything you need included. The rooms are spacious, the staff are incredible (and I mean incredible - nothing is too much trouble for them, they are so polite and will really go to great lengths to help you).
The only issue is that if the resort puts you in a room that is different to what you've booked (in our case, we booked a Standard room and we got given a Superior room), it can be difficult for them to find your reservation in their backend systems.
So ensure you go in with printed proof of your reservation and payment, and eventually it will all get sorted.
Otherwise, it's amazing, the Dawa drinks are top notch and the rooms are spacious and inviting."

"It was a perfect stay, we loved every bit of it.
Good view, good people, good food, amazing drinks.
Special thanks to Mr.Monaj Shah for making our trip very memorable by offering amazing hospitality."
"Older hotel located directly at the beach. Unfortunately, the restaurant staff lack basic training, the food quality is just average.
The monkeys and birds sometimes help themselves from the guests' plates. Other hotels in a similar situation deal with this annoying problem in a better and more professional way. Basic drinks and ice cubes are often missing. The fridge was missing in the room and the cell phone system didn't work either.
For a so-called four-star hotel with a corresponding price, one can expect a lot more in all respects. than just smiling staff. Unfortunately not to be recommended."
"Yes, there is air conditioning. Breakfast is OK, there are many baobab trees inside.
A little left is the congo river, you can take a boat, it should be beautiful if it is sunny"

"Not very easy to find but it was worth it. Very professionally led by a German couple. The rooms are sensational, everything is new and extremely generous (65m2) and we had a large balcony with great views into the Urwald. Every detail is true, comfortable large bed, large armature with rain shower and great breakfast, friendly staff. The air conditioning is charged separately with $15 per day, but now at the end of June we didn't need. The hotel is not on the beach, it is quiet and feels like at home. We were absolutely satisfied."

JJuliaStantonGreat place to stay offering good value for money with self-catering facilities. Breakfast and other meals also available. Although the place is a little worn, it has great charm. The swimming pool was lovely. Excellent location not far from beach and supermarkets
IIrina AlWe stayed at the hotel for one week. Clean rooms. Balcony with garden view. Here in the morning is fascinating bird singing. pleasant service staff. Basin with lying and drinking bar. Smuzi and juices here are very delicious. I liked the local tea with ginger and milk. Breakfasts are delicious. We used a restaurant for dinner. A large plate of seafood for two very delicious. Here are fish, calmaras, octopus, and half lobster, fish boiler. Yes-yes, the fishboiler is big and very delicious. The room was given water and tea with coffee. They regularly changed their lingerie. For us there was one minus-the conferences held at the hotel. Being in the pool area is not pleasant when a group in black hoods from 20-30 people inspect the holidaymakers. And yes, to the sea on foot 10 minutes or you can get to the tuck-tuck. Still, it is not in step-to-step access.
AAnonymous UserI have stayed in this hotel many times and highly recommend it. The environment, hygiene and facilities are all first-class. Most of the staff provide very good service. This bad review is because the hotel did not find the order for one of the three rooms I booked in the system, even though I had shown them my order. A front desk staff even asked to see my payment record. In the end, the hotel finally found all the orders in the system. Because of the hotel's mistake, I had a very unpleasant experience on this trip. I feel that it is very rude for the hotel staff to check my payment record when I have already shown the order. I hope the hotel room will apologize.
AAnonymous UserPleasant hotel in a good locatopn with very friendly staff. In general, room renovations are slowly overdue.
Because of the noise, it is best not to take a room in the basement.
AAmyLCThis is our 4th visit to Papillon. The staff are amazing here. The animation team have such energy, the water aerobics is like nothing else. Everyone is always busy working, from the gardeners to the housekeepers to the pool attendants. Joseph and Raphael on the bar were excellent as always. Abdullah the pool attendant is always on hand with towels and keeps the pool clean. The rooms are always kept super clean with fresh linen and bottled water daily. The rooms now have a fridge and kettle (but you need your own teabags etc). The food and drink is great, lots of choices. The beach is stunning with pure white sand. Love this hotel and recommend to others
AAnonymous UserAverage hotel....since the first day of my arrival, neither the TV nor the WIFI worked in my room. Furthermore, the inside of my suitcase was soiled by a forgotten wet and dirty cleaning cloth from the maid. Every day I heard the hackneyed words <sorry> over and over again. In the end, I couldn't hear those words anymore. I left the Neptune Paradise with a big disappointment...
GGuest UserEverything is fine, cleanliness at a high level (only the pool could be cleaner) Tasty food, great option with afternoon tea/coffee. On the beach there are security guards who make sure that the Beach Boy does not come too close. Opposite the hotel there is a small shop with drinks and alcohol and a Chinese restaurant. Nearby there is a hospital. About 1.5 km to a larger market.
KKIKOohuoThe room facilities are old and the toilet is easily clogged. The swimming pool is not very clean. The advantages are that the beach is wide and beautiful, the price is cheap, and the cost performance is very high. The beach is full of crabs at night.
齐齐No breakfast, our family of four bring the elderly to stay, the hotel environment is OK, you can cook by yourself, there is a supermarket nearby, the hotel does not have toiletries and slippers, you need to bring your own, no hair dryer, it takes 10 minutes to walk to the beach, two rooms and one living room are enough , I’m quite satisfied with the accommodation, but I need to close the windows. The monkey 🐒 the second entry is a bit scary for me. The overall check-in is very convenient. The restaurant in the hotel can also be inexpensive. Bring your own breakfast and dinner, lunch or Dinner can be in the hotel, the service attitude is very good, and the trip to Africa is surprising and interesting
