Beautiful property with underground parking located within walking distance of the old town. Stunning bedroom (upgrade given) which was well furnished and very clean. Welcome drink was offered on arrival. On arrival there was water, fruit in the room. There was a kettle but very small quantity of tea/coffee which was not replaced on the 2nd day. We were very honoured to meet the GM Herr Ralf Kutzner. He invited us to cocktails in the bar were we had a very interesting conversation about careers, travel experiences etc. An extremely enjoyable time. Thank you. We had dinner on our second night in the restaurant and it was a very enjoyable experience. We loved Dresden & would always stay here if we return to the City.

I have stayed in several hotels, and there's always something to criticize. But surprisingly I have nothing to say about Townhouse Dresden. I have stay from Mon to Thursday and was very happy with the service and accommodation. I stayed in the Classic room, which is very large and comfortable compared to other classic rooms. I slept well, without any noise from the streets, and can't express how happy I was with the breakfast. In general, a nice hotel, very well located, with fine rooms, and a good breafkast. I would definitely return to this hotel whenever I need to come to Dresden.

Excellent stay from start to finish. Very helpful staff at reception and concierge desk. Ample breakfast (though crowded during a holiday weekend). Large room with work space, TV, a sofa and armchair. Our room faced the street, and there was some noise, but it ended before we turned in. Location could not be better: easy walking distance to all of the Old Town attractions.

We were in town for the Christmas markets which is one of Germany's best. Well, we couldn't have picked a better place to stay than here. The hotel opens directly upon the central square which is where one of the markets is located. The other major market is just a few steps further across the street. Unfortunately, we weren't given a view room and our room really didn't have a view, but it was comfortable with all the amenities you might expect. We were traveling by car so a big plus was the underground public garage with direct elevator access to the hotel.

Overall very satisfied, the price is not expensive, but I am very dissatisfied with Ctrip, spent more money than others does not include breakfast, and is a business twin room, the hotel front desk repeatedly and I confirm whether it is a person, why set double bed? This time, Ctrip has set up a number of hotels in the country, basically no breakfast, and the price is more expensive than the breakfast included on Agoda. I regret it with Ctrip, but I can’t cancel it. I am a Platinum member. Nothing wrong, Ctrip is not slaughtering. For the first time, he will lure you at a lower price, so if you use it once, I will definitely not use it again.

The bathroom in the room is very large, the shower water pressure is very comfortable, and the water temperature is very comfortable. It’s really comfortable to take a hot bath when I come back a day outside. ～ 4) Environment: The hotel is located on a small street outside the old town and is very quiet at night. Walk to Zwenger Palace for 3 minutes and walk to Notre Dame Cathedral for 10 minutes. There is a Sichuan restaurant less than 100 meters from the hotel, which is partial to Chengdu taste (hemp), which is delicious!

Easy 15 min tram from the Hauptbahnhoff and, as others have noted, highly accessible to both the old and new towns. Don't miss the old-town-sights but as others have mentioned check out the new town as well. Louisenstrasse is about a 10 minute walk but gives you a great neighborhoody feel w/ lots of little eateries, shops and the like. The first night we ate dinner in old town at a touristy place and I wish we'd explored here instead! Anyway, back to the Bilderberg... rooms are a reasonable price and nicely updated. Overall the location feels central but we also got a quiet night's sleep. Apparently there is a rave across the river most weekend evenings that peters out about 10pm with a fireworks display which we could see from our room. Breakfast was worth the upcharge. Would stay here again or recommend to others.

Our bathroom was adequately equipped but disappointingly small for a hotel of this quality. Our main, and fundamental, criticism of this hotel was that breakfast was not available in its own breakfast room as stated on its website and booking confirmation. It was instead provided at the neighbouring sister hotel, the Bulow Palais; fortunately for us the weather was chilly but fine for the morning 150m walk. The enhanced Palais breakfast was superb, with exemplary table service for cooked meals and a huge variety of delicacies at the buffet. It was provided at the Residenz price but that does not make this unannounced change acceptable. With online communications available, we should at least have been told about the changed breakfast arrangements in advance; failure to communicate is unacceptable in this standard of hotel. Accordingly, and at best, we can therefore only rate it average.

The parking is expensive (EUR 25 per day), but to have a two-step car in the centre of a city can be stayed. We book by signaling that we will arrive between 19 and 20, we receive confirmation mail without the indication that the reception closes at 19.... We arrive, there is a telephone number on the door and the indication to go to the reception some doors further: It is not easy to call a German number when the German is not known. After a few minutes, a girl will come up and tell us to go to the Suitess Hotel at a few hundred meters and the key will be given there: a few hundred meters is true, but if you have the baggage and if it isn't the best rain. A poster in front of the door or a response mail with the info would be appropriate. Mini-apartment large, clean, with bathroom and cooking angle, nothing to say, perfect and comfortable.

Dear reader, as an employee of an hotel, I would like to tell you that this hotel fulfilled everything a guest wished. Constantin in the night service was the one who made me book a room in this hotel by his kind way at night, but his service goes beyond the usual night service. He helped me actively find my goals in the city that I wouldn't like to be so widely used to, at this point a great thank you. I came back only in the early morning hours, when Mrs. Forster was waiting for me from the early service, this lady has a huge heart, which you could notice when you changed the word. And finally, Mr Wenzel, I didn't get it, with such a hospitality for breakfast, brought me a cake that he simply perfected the service of these hotels. I thank these three staff members of your hotel for having ensured a beautiful stay for me, and these are not flocks, but these three staff have brought me to write an assessment, which I would not only like to encourage my successors to book here, but also thank me for allowing me a nice stay. I hope I can welcome these three employees again next year with their serious smile. Thank you very much!

Excellent location directly at the old town. Rooms are convenient, beds are good, the use of a tea kitchen is possible. A closed box for bicycles available at the house (priced). Unfortunately, there are no car parks at the house, but public parking facilities nearby, e.g. on the terrace (important: EC cards are only available with cash on the chip, use alternative app or have appropriate small money = coins with them). Breakfast either in the Bistro at the house or (priced ) e.g. in the salt gas in the cafe outtime (reservation absolutely necessary!) - alternatively take a pan at the baker (about 5 min. walk) and take a breakfast on the home terrace in the first floor.

This hotel was chosen for its location near the old city. The hotel is new and everything is very bright and cheerful. The rooms are somewhat smaller than other Melia hotels, but this may be due to the Innside branding. However, the room certainly served us well. We could walk everywhere that we wanted in Dresden. It was also conveniently located near a Lidl grocery store where would get snacks and drinks. With its location to the Altstadt, there were restaurants everywhere. The Dresden Frauenkirche was just a few steps from the hotel. We booked our room with the included breakfast. The breakfast was very good, and there were adequate selections. This hotel proved to be an excellent choice for Dresden.

Stayed here for four nights and just loved the location of the hotel, near to all the sights, good restaurants plus a fabulous bakery almost on the doorstep. We used the kitchen area for breakfast and that worked fine, plenty of crockery and cooking utensils had we felt the urge to cook (we didn't). We had the one bed apartment, the room was big and very quiet at night, shower was great. Reception was open from around 8.30-7pm and we found the staff very helpful and welcoming especially when we first arrived. Just the wifi signal was a bit intermittent in our room but that wasn't a big deal for us except when trying to watch a football match from the UK!

My hotel room was HUGE. This was a phenomenal surprise, especially given the location. The Hotel is around the corner from a ton of excellent restaurants, and only a short short walk from the city center were one can find beautiful outdoor terraces with wonderful views of the city. Once construction in the market in front of the hotel is finished, I'm sure there will also be another excellent view on the doorstep. I will happily stay here again next time I need to be in Dresden.

A much better location of a hotel is hardly imaginable. Whoever stands in historical old towns is right there, because he is in the middle, right in the center. As regards the cleanliness and equipment of our room, there was nothing to defect, quite the opposite. All that you need is available. The breakfast booked is stored in the Italian restaurant next to it, but it does not stop all, since you have direct access from the hotel. The breakfast itself is very rich and for everyone certainly what it is. We booked the hotel for a night after a concert visit, which went until 22:30. At this time, it seems impossible to have a free seat in the many existing gastronomic facilities around the old market, because everything is occupied. I would have liked to have a sack in the hotel, but it is unfortunately impossible. But whoever doesn't necessarily make it on it, I can only recommend this hotel. What is also something sporty is when you travel with your own vehicle, the park search. But also there you will be helped at the reception, there are recommendations for parks nearby, where free capacity is also checked in the front desk.
