Called in to look over the hotel and possibly book dinner in their Michelin starred restaurant. Unimpressed with the menu so decided to dine elsewhere that Saturday evening. Ordered two coffees in the lounge. They took over 30 minutes to arrive and when they finally did they were cold and the wrong coffees! They were remade and the correct ones brought. We were told there would be no charge for the original ones!! Asked for the WiFi password and the waitress said she would get it for us. Never saw her again. On attempting to pay we were told the card machine in the bar wasn’t working so we had to wait while another machine was found. Overall, a dreadful first impression. A 5 star experience it certainly was not. So glad we decided to give dinner a miss. Fawlty Towers lives!
