"The room is quite big and clean overall. There is a kitchen dining table! You can take pictures of the Milky Way directly outside the room at night! The front desk staff is very nice and helped me book a hike on the Fox Glacier! This is the back door entrance to the hotel. I didn't take a picture of the room."

"The hotel facilities are average, but they have everything you need. The location is very good, on the main street, very close to the meeting point for glacier hiking, and only 5 minutes walk from the trail where you can see fireflies. The boss is very nice, answering all questions and introducing us to many surrounding attractions. I forgot to mention that the boss is Chinese, and I felt very close to him because he could communicate in Chinese."

"Generally clean. Nice large room with fridge and TV, although only half the channels worked. No microwave which should be included as the restaurant appears to be indefinitely closed. There are several restaurants near which are good. Very quite location so overall a good stay. Only way onto glacier is by helicopter which is costly."
