"Great quick service check in and check out . Nice rooms, comfortable beds. Only thing that would’ve made it better is if covid wasn’t happening and we could use the hot tub. But that isn’t the hotels fault. Thanks. Would definitely stay here again ."

"The location is very good, only a few minutes drive from Winchester's historic district, there are gas stations, restaurants (and KFC) in front of the hotel, which is very convenient. The hotel has a rich breakfast and fruit (Apples, summer oranges) in the lobby are available 24 hours a day. The room is quiet and comfortable."

"The GW in Winchester is downtown Old Winchester. Its an old Grand Hotel with amazing rooms all with quality furnishings and beds so comfy you can sleep all day. The lobby features a piano bar and lounge, which is a huge attraction to visitors and locals. The Hotel also features a very good resturant for nice table cloth dining. Food is excellent. The hotel also features a Greek style indoor pool and hot tub. Location is at the end of tje downtown walking mall, so get out and check out all the shops and resturants- the mall often features events and outdoor music. This Hotel is also perfect if you are visiting and exploring all the history the area has to offer. (Some items are covid restricted, amended resturant hours and hot tub may be closed delending on restrictions- pool was open though) check this place out - definately a good experience. "

"In pics and in person the modern fresh room style is appealing though the functionality is sub-par. An example: one night table was a solid piece, no drawer or shelf with the top diameter much smaller than my laptop. Typically, a phone (use as an alarm), a bottle of water and an iPad , e-reader or book/magazine would be on a nightstand. Whoops, no room for all that and the slick surface made me nervous to leave my iPad on it. The open closet is fine, especially for me as I don't hang or put clothes in a drawer, but the only space available that wasn't in the bathroom is directly below where one would hang their clothes and right above the fridge. This could make it a perfect spot for a soft sided cooler, but this relatively small space (didn't measure, maybe 14”x20” with Keurig-style coffee maker already on it) is where one might set snacks, extra sodas, the cereal one brings because they like to eat the same thing every day and need a spot to set their cereal bowl while grabbing milk out of fridge right below. Not sure about you, but I'm not terribly comfortable putting food & dishes in the bathroom. Unfortunately, that is where my coffee maker needed to go (if I'm remembering correctly) the outlets where not accessible so Mr. Nespresso did need to go in the bathroom. Bathroom shower had some mold around the caulk area, otherwise serviceable. Not a horrible room overall, but not as nice as other similarly priced nearby chains so I'll stick to those."
