The hotel Golden Crest deceives people saying it is newly renovated. The ceiling is damp and broken (photo attached). Moreover they have not provided even basic amenities like towel, toiletries etc.
The customer service is also not helpful.
Overall an experience nobody would like to have.

The property has a great location and offers breathtaking views. The staff is polite and helpful, making guests feel at home. Rooms are spacious and well maintained, with comfortable beds. It is a decent budget property with good amenities and safety measures.

The hospitality at the property was excellent. The best part was accessibility till mall road, cabs are easily available from the property. The view from the room was perfect and even the linens, aesthetics were 11/10! Must visit when in Gangtoj

My preferred hotel to stay in Gangtok. Spacious andCossy rooms, tasty buffet breakfast. Every thing is Well maintained. We loved the hospitality by Dinesh sir(***ager). He guided/ helped us in booking and getting permits to visit NathuLa , Lachung. He really takes care of guests. Thx for all your support sir. 😃😊

Hospitality was awesome I felt most. Especially Mr. Dinesh, amazing guy, who look after all the things for us like hotel accommodations with discount, hospitality, travels info etc. Breakfast, Rooms, facilities and the ambience everything was fine and value to money.

The overall experience at the hotel was pretty good. They have taken care of our dietary needs very thoroughly seving us delicious food both in breakfast and in dinner. If you're visiting Gangtok, I would highly recommend this place to stay in!

One of the best hotels in Gangtok. The rooms are spacious and luxurious. The staff is very welcoming and helpful. Special mention to Bikas and Bishal for being really helpful to us, made us feel at home. Will truly recommend this hotel. The breakfast was amazing 😻 and the TV is functional with almost all channels.
