Ta' Pinu B&B

This place is incredible; it make you feel so welcome. It makes you feel at home away from home.The hosts are so friendly and helpful. Everything was top; the room, cleanliness, the food. I highly recommend this B&B

We spent 3 days in Ta’ Pinu B&B and we really enjoyed it. Maria & Frank are really taking care of you during the stay in this 500 year old building renovated by themselves respecting the architecture. If you ask they will be pleased to explain the history. We stayed for 6 nights. Everything was really exceptional! Right from the beginning there was a warm welcome from Frank who told us all about the history of the guesthouse. We then enjoyed night after night of Maria’s fabulous cooking. Frank made sure we had delicious wine to drink and we even got to take some bottles home 😊 The breakfast which is included with the room stay is unbelievably good! The guesthouse itself is charming. And spotlessly clean. The children loved exploring and the roof terrace has a great view and lovely for evening drinks. Gozo is a lovely destination for an interesting and scenic holiday, again Frank gave us invaluable advice about where to go and tips on what to see. The children especially loved making a new friend in Alistair and were so sad to leave. They and we are desperate to return as soon as possible for some more generous and kind hospitality. This place is a hidden gem 🥰

Ta’ Pinu has some stunning views from the terrace at the rear of the property and also it’s very own Cave pool which is professionally maintained with a very environmentally-controlled heat pump system. The breakfast caters for all tastes and is a family run business with an immaculately restored interior. The immense Moroccan door in the centre of the hotel is stunning! After a hard days exploring I found myself wanting to get back to the hotel to sit out on the terrace and relax with a glass of wine. There is also a large hot tub being installed on the top of the terrace if this is your thing. The hosts are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. There is a craft village, supermarket and small coffee shop literally minutes away and also one of the greatest churches I have ever visited only 15 minutes away. If you have an image in your mind of a total relaxing break Ta’Pinu Hotel and the surrounding area will exceed it.

Amazing place. This 500-year old building is beautiful and unique. The rooms are cozy and clean and the whole place is beautifully restored and decorated. The pool in the old water reservoir is a hidden gem. The house is located in typical Gozo landscapes and it is nice to sit on the roof terrace surrounded by the view of the hills. The hosts are so warm, welcoming and caring, they really made the stay special.

Accommodation is beautiful, very quirky. My room had a large balcony however due to the road noise did not use it very much. However, I did book a budget room and it did say that it was next to a main road. The bathroom was lovely and the bed very comfortable. It was a good base for exploring Gozo. I stayed just two nights and on my first night was unwell. The new owners who I believe had only been there for three days themselves were very kind. At 1.30am in the morning they came to check if I was ok and sat up with me for several hours to ensure that I was alright. As a solo traveller I really appreciated this and felt well cared for. It was my first solo trip and I was quite nervous and this gesture made a huge difference to the rest of my trip. I will return however I will book a room nearer the back next time. The new owners are wanting to provide excellent customer service and I'm looking forward to my next visit.

Amazing, 500 year old stone building in a perfect location to explore Gozo. We booked the smallest room and yes it was compact but it’s worth it to stay in such a unique place (plus we had a balcony). Everything was brilliant from the breakfast to the relaxing pool. The village, with its handful of restaurants, is also worth walking around for some quiet time and it’s an easy walk to Ta’Pinu shrine. Be aware the B&B is on a main road so you will hear the odd car speeding past but that’s part of being in such a good location. Within a 25min drive we saw megaliths, went kayaking, snorkelled in clear blue sea, saw salt pans and sunbathed on a sandy beach, plus parking on the street outside is easy. The hosts were great, breakfast was so nice, I had a cooked one each day, and the building stunning. We would definitely stay again.

Experience was great for me. Family owned and all very nice people! I recommend this to anyone looking to stay at an old style maltese home (500 years old), a lot of charm! I also tagged you guys on Instagram, you should start posting to Instagram again, would help promote your hotel and gain more traction!

The cave pool was great. Good breakfast. Excellent host. Great balcony for drinking a glass of wine in the evening.
