I’m sorry to deduct stars for this hotel as there is much about it to enjoy and we did. The concierge was very helpful, the rooms clean and comfortable and it’s a great location for the city but ……. 1. Having a roof top bar is an asset. We were encouraged by the reception staff to visit it as it has stunning views. I asked if you had to book and was told no, open from 7. It does have stunning views as we discovered when we went up there but it was closed on Monday and Tuesday! Why? It’s peak tourist season and we were encouraged to go up there ! Very disappointing. 2. The breakfast buffet was good but there was only one person clearing and laying tables and making sure supplies were replenished. There were queues for bread, juice , bacon and eggs. It was 9am. Shame as it’s a great location .

Stayed on honeymoon. All aspects were great and the staff are very friendly. The location, service and facilities were all a great experience. Also the Alhambra Palace from the hotel rooftop bar was very nice too. If you have anything to come to Granada next time, this is the hotel you want to stay again.

My family stayed two nights in this hotel on a tour of Alhambra Palace. The outside common area of the hotel, including the dining room, was very well maintained and could deserve a 5-star rating. The rooms inside were a different story. We occupied two rooms. One was a “superior deluxe room,” and the other was a “classic city-view double room.” Both had the same price tag. The deluxe room was spacious and well-lit but had an odd arrangement with a useless bathtub in the center. Moreover, the room smelled of sewage when we entered the room—which I notified the management. They disagreed and claimed there was no sewage smell. I did not appreciate the response, as all four of our family members smelled of sewage. Nor did I escalate the issue, as our stay was short. The city-view room had a small window overlooking the city without much viewing space. The room was tiny, with two twin beds packed in the room, and was poorly lit. It felt like being in a prison cell. The shower doors in both rooms did not close fully, so the water splashed out. In short, both rooms were substandard and did not deserve the price tag at all. My recommendation to travelers is to stay elsewhere, and if you need to stay there, avoid the small “city-view” rooms and Deluxe Room #331 that smells of sewage. I got to love Spain and its people who are very friendly and helpful, but not this hotel.

Waiting for Check in, a large cup of freshly squeezed orange juice was delivered. The room facilities were also very modern. The first time the toilet was equipped with washlet. When I came back from a trip, the room sent a plate of ginkgo, cheese and ham dings and biscuits to replenish energy. Going out to eat everywhere, especially the seafood restaurant recommended by the hotel, can actually enjoy the cheap Tapas. Breakfast is ordered according to the menu, very delicious. The only downside is that there is no body lotion in the room, and the local area is very dry, but after telling the front desk, a small bottle of L'Occitane body lotion - shampoo and other toiletries are L'Occitane.

The room was clean ample and bed was comfortable. We love to walk so going up the steps to the palace was an easy walk. Would definitely stay there again.

We loved staying here. So much character in the rooms and the atriums and reception area- an excellent conversion of a historic building to a hotel. We took a walking tapas tour and it was one of the stops! Our room and bathroom both very nice. A frig minibar in our room we used for our water bottles. Our room was not served by the elevator - but this was not a problem for us. The Wi-Fi was spotty but staff helpful in getting connected. Breakfast was good and coffee was via a coffee pod machine. The breakfast room was crowded at times, but able to wait in the pleasant atrium. We loved traversing the alleyways, just a few steps for views of the Alhambra - and a maybe 20 minute uphill walk to visit. (Taxis inexpensive and this is an option to get to the Alhambra also). Staff pleasant and helpful with recommendations and directions. The Plaza Nueva very close and easy to catch a taxi here.

We stayed in both the Junior Suite with Alhambra View and the City View Deluxe Double, either of which we’d recommend for stunning day and nighttime views of the Alhambra. The staff were very friendly and helpful with recommendations of good places to get tapas, go see a flamenco show, and other places of interest in Granada. I stayed here in October 2022 for 1 week and I fell in love! The employees are all very nice and it's awesome that they offer you free breakfast in the morning with a lot of variety to choose from. The location is great- just opposite the Alhambra with amazing views all day and night long! Keep in mind that it's located in the Albaicin therefore a lot of walking is required, paths are uneven and steep. Good workout, though :-) The only downside is that the walls are very thin- this was not an issue except for one night when a very nosy couple checked in that was enjoying itself until 2 in the morning. Luckily, that was only one night out of 6, the others guests were much more quiet! I stayed at the room that has the bathroom outside the room- it didn't bother me but keep that in mind if you don't like that. Overall, I had a great time, good conversations with Flamenco Carlos ;-) and enjoyed the amazing views.

We stayed for two nights for our first visit to Granada. The location is just a short walk in any direction from various points of interest. Very near the cathedral area which is a warren of shops, restaurants, bars and souvenir stores. In another direction the Plaza Nueva from where you can walk up to Alhambra. Staff were very friendly and called us a cab for our return to the train station. Breakfast was enjoyable in the outdoor courtyard. Our room had a safe and we had no problem with noise from the busy lanes around the hotel. Overall an excellent value and the location allowed us to make the most of our time in this very enjoyable town.

The hotel is cost-effective. Go out and turn right onto the street, then turn right along the slope and go directly to A Gong Zhengyi Gate. To eat a lot, pick the restaurants where foreigners line up. The room has a kettle and tea. A little girl at the front desk served well, but the older sister was impatient. Basically seamless docking with the bus station. If the map guides you to a bar with the same name, it doesn't matter. Enter the bar and ask, the hotel can pass through the door.

We are a family of 4 (2 parents, 2 college-age kids). Location of hostel is great, in the heart of old city, in walking distance of all sites. BUT the room was disappointing. The photo used on booking sites is deceptive. Our room was very narrow, with only one small window which made it oppressive. WiFi was VERY weak, which was an issue when we needed to book tickets online for sites like the Alhambra. And when we complained about this, the staff at the reception not only did not apologize (or give any kind of discount for the serious inconvenience) but acted like we were lying about it -- which is the worst reaction possible. Also, if you have a car, be warned that the parking garage is EXTREMELY small and difficult to get in to -- and of course you have to pay extra.
