I booked a Deluxe Quadruple room because I was traveling with my mother and sister (this room can accommodate up to 4 adults). The location of the guest house itself is quite good, close to the bus stop to central London. The room is surprisingly spacious for London (based on my experience with other aparthotel/guest house) with a more minimalist bathroom, but everything is neat and clean like new! (also my mom loves the interior). The view from the top floor room was also great! There is a shared kitchen with complete dining utensils, a microwave, and an iron. Oh, if you arrive before check-in time and want to leave your luggage, they cannot accept it at Clapham Guest House directly (no receptionist, way more like airbnb style?). I only found this out when I arrived at the guest house. So, there’s another guest house 8 minutes away under the same management, Chelsea Guest House, where you can store your belongings before check-in. Overall, my family and I were happy with our stay here. Note: Be mindful of your luggage due to the numerous stairs and lack of an elevator.

Very great location, 3-5 mins walk away from King’s Cross station. The room was compact and there’s only one bathroom and one toilet on the 2/F, shared by around 6-8 rooms of users in the main building. But there is no hair dryer and the room is not air conditioned. The building does not have elevator either so you may need to take that into consideration as well. The front desk was very welcoming and friendly, they also offer luggage storage for the day of checking out, which is very nice. Overall, it’s a very nice budget hotel with great value considering its location.

Clean and good for short trip travelling people . Good location and very friendly reception

One of the weird things happened with me was my daughter was sick and she vomit on the duvet. As I don't have things to clean with I wrapped the duvet and put it outside the room as it was Christmas day and no cleaners will come. The receptionist he tried to take the duvet and the vomit dripped out on the corridor. He knocked the door asked me to clean the corridor!!!!!!!!! Me as the guest clean for him. I asked him to give me hover and I cleaned and the then he asked me did you clean the duvet? I told him absolutely not take the duvet to the laundry room. This was absolutely disrespectful to me. Otherwise, the location was brilliant! The toilet for the family room was extremely small not convenient at all.

Absolutely amazing place to stay, easy to just hop on a bus to the tube station to find the main tourist places to go. Staff are friendly and will do anything they can to accommodate you. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Beds were rock hard. Shower screen broken beyond repair. Very old facilities and felt like a cheap B&B room from 90’s. Slanted floors and curtains not closing fully. Lots of building work going on outside which meant an early wake up.  Kettle and minimal condiments were helpful. Worthwhile if your expectations and price are low enough and you don’t care about much comfort or a quiet nights sleep. Great location next to Richmond train station.

Manager was very welcoming & gave me quick tour of property. Key available immediately as was my room. Room was small but fit for my purpose with fridge, TV, microwave & comfy bed. Location was perfect for DLR & my journey to Greenwich. Considering room was above pub & a Saturday night it was very quiet. Probably wouldn't stay for too long as it only has a shared bathroom but if I run the London Marathon again I would happily stay here the night before.

Wonderful palace in good area

Great little guest house with all mod cons and a quirky rooftop access within my room with quaint views. Only downside was initial communication. While I was sent an email with instructions as to what to do for remote access it wasn't accessible as the email was blocked out by trip.com and I had to get in touch directly. The check in would have been good if it was an hour or two earlier.
