"This was the best hotel so far in China and we had great ones before too. The hotel is beautifully decorated, the room with view on mountains and lake was magical, especially the tea drinking area where we did our own little tea ceremony. The hotel provided 2 teas for free to try, which was so kind. The owner’s dog was the cutest thing, we took her to our room to play with her. :-) the breakfast and lunch were delicious. Everyone was incredibly kind and welcoming and even the level of English spoken was better than anywhere else in China. Hopefully I‘ll be back one day!"

"When I first arrived I was quite disappointed that my room didn't look much at all like the photos on the listing. My one recommendation is that this is updated so that people have appropriate expectations...
However, I could not help but enjoy my stay here. Overall the hotel felt exceptionally good value, laundry was done for me and I had access to a scooter. Breakfast tea and coffee all included as well. Xiaoming is also a fantastic and attentive host, who seems to look after all his guests well."

"The hotel is in a perfect location, close to all the main sights of the city! The staff were very friendly, kind, and helpful. We mentioned in our message that we were celebrating our honeymoon and asked for a clean and quiet room, and we were pleasantly surprised by how thoughtfully the staff responded. They gave us a beautiful, spotless room that was even decorated for the occasion, and also allowed us a late check-out.
The breakfast was served on the ninth floor in a restaurant with a lovely view, and it was really good.
Overall, it was a great choice, and we highly recommend this hotel!!!!!"

"A homestay that is very suitable for a quiet and restful, the room is simple, clean and comfortable, the most important thing is that the service and atmosphere are very good, the first surprise comes from the book on the door shelf, choose the book taste online; Then the front desk lady asked if she wanted to eat Chinese or Western breakfast the next day. When her brain said ”all”, haha, she was actually satisfied, so she had a Western breakfast + a copy of hand + two cups of coffee configuration, um, as the big stomach king, I finished both. In addition, there are many foreign guests in the store, and I accidentally looked at a foreign lady. I told her ”hello” and she told me ”hello”. Haha, in short, it was very comfortable."

"We stayed at this hotel for just one night and we didn't regret our choice for a second. It was a wonderful decision! We chose a room with a bathtub by the window specifically for the stunning view of the forest and river it offered – absolutely breathtaking.
We loved everything about the room: the air conditioning was a lifesaver in the heat, and the orthopedic mattress and pillows were so comfortable (a special thank you for that!). The room was spotless, and everything was in perfect working order.
The front desk staff are wonderful people! Communication was tricky without knowing Chinese, but every single employee was incredibly friendly and tried so hard to help us, using translators with patience. A huge thank you for your help with AliPay – we had a payment issue, and the administrators solved it for us. Furthermore, one of the front desk ladies helped us book exactly the tour we needed. Since the standard tours didn't suit our specific route request, she went out of her way to help us organize everything.
We had breakfast included, but we had to leave too early to enjoy it. So that we wouldn't go hungry, the incredibly thoughtful staff offered us croissants and milk! We also made great use of the coffee machine in the lobby.
Thank you so much to the hotel for such a comfortable and memorable stay! We highly recommend it."

"The hotel boasts an excellent location, just a 10-minute walk from the Sun and Moon Pagodas and 15 minutes from the Elephant Trunk Hill Scenic Area. This makes it incredibly convenient for guests to explore the city, shop, and sightsee.
The hotel's interior is spotless, and upon arrival, we were even offered a refreshing sour plum soup to cool down. The rooms are well-appointed with complete amenities, and I particularly appreciated the separate design of the bedroom and bathroom, which felt both spacious and upscale.
The front desk staff were also very welcoming and provided detailed information. During the off-peak season, when rooms are readily available, they even offer complimentary room upgrades.

"Where does one start? We were here for only 2 nights before we headed to Yangshao but would have liked to stay longer. The location is convenient, walking distance to the sun & moon and various restaurant/shops. The hotel is pristine. The rooms were excellent; clean, firm bed, fantastic shower, well equipped with the usual toiletries.... anything else was available from the reception. No need for the traditional kettle as there was an instant water dispenser for tea or other, varying the temperature as desired. It's very tech savvy, good for me but did need to explain to my elderly parents. There's a free laundry service, breakfast was just right with a diverse selection of offerings. The restaurant for dinner was good value with delicious offerings. Most of all, were the super helpful and friendly staff; from reception, breakfast service, dinner and housekeeping... they were faultless. I highly recommend.The hotel piccies are a true reflection of the rooms so not sharing but will post a picture of the Guilin famous beer fish dish, which was very yummy. ❤️"

This hotel boasts an excellent, prime location, right in the heart of the Ten-Mile Gallery. It's just a 1-minute walk to Qing'e Ferry Pier for bamboo rafting. To the right, it's a 5-minute walk to the Big Banyan Tree and 10 minutes to Jūlóngtán Park. To the left, it's a 5-minute walk to Gongnong Bridge and the Aviation Experience Base. Being perfectly situated within the Ten-Mile Gallery, you're treated to breathtaking mountain views from the moment you step out and stunning scenery from your window – absolutely wonderful!
Plenty of dining options are available nearby, offering a wide variety of choices, along with shops for daily essentials. Both the hotel and the surrounding area have numerous e-bikes for rent, making local transportation very convenient!
Hotel Facilities: The hotel exudes a relaxing, resort-like atmosphere, making guests feel completely at ease. There's a swimming pool on the first floor, and the restaurant is conveniently located downstairs next to it. Rooms are equipped with bathtubs and feature complete modern amenities. From the hotel, you can enjoy beautiful views of the Yulong River and the surrounding mountains. Fresh fruit is provided daily. The butler and the rest of the staff are incredibly attentive and thoughtful, making this a truly excellent choice!

GGuest UserThe room had a great view. We arrived a bit early, and our twin room wasn't quite ready yet. Seeing that we had a child, the lovely lady at the front desk proactively upgraded us to a family room. Our little one was absolutely thrilled upon entering the room, which featured a rocking horse and a small tent. The spacious room offered plenty of room for activities, and the beds were incredibly comfortable.
In the morning, we took our child for breakfast. We also discovered facilities like a ball pit upstairs. If only we hadn't been in a rush, we would have loved to stay for another two days!
We'll definitely choose this hotel again next time we visit Guilin. The gentleman at the front desk was also very attentive and helpful whenever we needed something or had questions. The service was absolutely fantastic! 🥹

On the last couple days, I fell very sick and had to be sent to the hospital. The staff were so kind, in particular 罗师傅 and 小何。both of them came inside with me and made sure I was seen and helped to translate and pick up medicine as I am not familiar with the process here in China. It would have been an even more stressful experience without their help there. 小何 had to pick up extra medicine for me and refused to take money back from me. I don't know how to repay their kindness. When we got back to the hotel from the hospital, 小何 made sure to send some congee up to my room. At breakfast the next day, 小容 promptly greeted me and asked if I was feeling better. As I could only stomach plain congee, she packed some small snacks that are easy on the stomach so I could take and snack on throughout the day so I wouldn't get hungry. Thank you so much to all the staff here. I will visit yangshuo again and will definitely stay here again.

RRobert MartinI am a world traveler and have stayed in Guilin many times. This is my now my favorite hotel in China and one my best hotel experiences anywhere. I stayed for one week. This is an intimate, boutique style hotel. Service consistently exceeded expectations from every staff member - at check-in, dining room, housekeeping, daily free laundry, free cultural and activity experiences, concierge assistance - outstanding level of friendly service. Staff at the front desk speak English. We also took advantage of the free costume photography and unique chime and bowl singing mediation. The value is excellent for the affordable cost. The bedding assured a great night sleep and the room had a spectacular view of the river and mountain. We were provided free drink, including my favorite local beer, and snacks from our room mini-cooler! The hotel has a great location near many attractions, and also has access to a long river walkway behind the hotel that takes you to one of the major parks. Many excellent food choices for Chinese style breakfast with the famous Guilin noodle. There is no bar at this hotel, but I brought my beer or drinks and smokes up to the rooftop terrace to relax with the spectacular view. Lounge sofa chairs in the lobby openair balcony overlook the Li Jiang river flowing by. Delightful place to relax with a drink from the coffee/tea service. (It was closed unfortunately for two days I was there, due to a meeting. Ask when you check in about availability of this feature.) Taxis were available when needed, literally, within a minute of ordering. I also took advantage of simple facilities in a gym space and a large and fun kids play room when a toddler came to visit. Overall, the best place to stay for vacation time in Guilin.

Hotel has central location, about 7 mins walk to Sun/Moon Pagodas. Room is huge in Twin, comfy bed, bath tab, shower, all the necessary supplies and complimentary soda drinks in the fridge 💖 breakfast is mainly Chinese traditional, but still you can find many variations for western taste.
There is a SPA in the building and Tourist counter where you can book all excursions. Hotel staff efficiently arranged 2 sessions of massage in the SPA for late evening hours and massage was just fantastic! You can also get the discount as a resident. On the first floor there is super tasty Hong-Kong style restaurant.
As I already mentioned, hospitality and care was amazing ! Would definitely choose again and recommend this accommodation!

The location is truly unbeatable – West Street is literally downstairs. The rooms are spotless, and the panoramic windows offer a fantastic night view. West Street gets very lively in the evenings, and if you're tired from exploring, you can always relax in the lobby. The room's soundproofing is excellent; you can barely hear any noise from downstairs at night. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied!

This was one of our best experiences in China. I would recommend this place to anyone. The villa/farmhouse we stayed in is perfect for big groups. The villa/farmhouse has 5 big bedrooms, each with its own bathroom with a shower and western toilet. The food at the hotel was brilliant! The courtyard in front was lovely in the mornings for breakfast, and the restaurant on the roof was amazing in the evening, looking over the mountains. We loved it, will definitely be back there soon! Thank you for an amazing stay and friendly hospitality.

The hotel is right by the Lijiang River. Standing on the balcony, you can enjoy the scenery of the Lijiang River. The architectural style of the hotel is unique. The decoration in the room is elegant, making people feel a warm and peaceful atmosphere.
The service staff of the hotel are extremely warm and friendly. From check-in to check-out, every link makes me feel at home. In particular, the reception staff at the front desk are not only considerate in service but also very patiently answered all my questions.
The hotel's facilities are very complete, with facilities such as a gym, swimming pool, and SPA, allowing me to maintain health and vitality even during my trip. I also participated in some special experience activities. For example, the SPA project reserved at the hotel made me completely relax.
In general, this stay experience in Yangshuo, Guilin is extremely wonderful!

JJulieHad an incredible stay here! The views are stunning (probably one of the best out of all the other accommodations nearby), the room was clean and the service was friendly. It's a family owned business and everyone is lovely. If you're taking a bus, it won't drop you all the way to the hotel but if you give the hotel a call, someone can come pick you up from the bus stop. I had a bit of a miscommunication with my previous hotel who arranged a coach for us that dropped us off at a very far away drop off point and someone still came and picked us up from there with no complaints (and did not charge us for it)!! We were also dropped back off at the bus stop on the day we left. No one spoke much English which made it a little harder, but we got by with a translator app. There are quite a few stairs to go up to get to the hotel which isn't great if you have lots of heavy luggage so I'd recommend packing lightly if possible. Having said that, if you have average fitness, you should be fine getting up and down the stairs, the trek is not too long. The views are definitely worth it! Would stay again for sure.
