The hotel staffs are well trained. Ms Amy is very helpful on providing us information on how to go around Guilin as it is our first time to visit the city. My wife really appreciate Ms Amy's professionalism and patience in explaining to us each details. The rooftop deck view is awesome for watching sunset. Breakfast selection also good. The hotel offers local fruits which I really like to help local economy But also ECO friendly as less transportation distance is needed to bring foods to the restaurant. It was great time to stay at Shangrila in Guilin. All workers are very nice and kind. One of the worker even helped my son blow his nose! The hotel is just beside the river so it’s nice to take a walk. By using share bike, it takes 15 min to get the city side. I think it’s convenient enough and ridding share bike during trip is also good experience. Our highlight is the last night with Peach & Aries at the bar in Shangrila. Their music was awesome and they also let my wife sing with them. Playing some Japanese songs means a lot to me.

Our room had a magnificent view of the Li River. The sightseeing spots in Guilin City were all in walkable distance of the hotel. The breakfast had a good amount of variety and you can even get the typical Guilin Rice Noodles if you want. The service was over the top (everyone was super friendly and attentive). If you have any questions the staff replies to your messages within minutes. We were asked if the breakfast is alright or if they should prepare a more western one for us. They probably also saw our bin filled with empty water bottles and provided us 1.5L bottles for free 😂 Will most certainly recommend this hotel to my friends and family and would also come myself again!

Hotel is located at the centre of Guilin. It is close to elephant trunk hill and tons of restaurants. It offers free Guilin art experience. My son got to learn ancient printing and art work. The food street is just right behind the hotel and 15-20mins walk to Dongxi lane and jingjiang prince palace. Excellent service. We left our power bank and they sent it back to me. We had a great time there.

Went with my boyfriend, the room is very big, I like it! And the young lady who checked in for us can be gentle hahahaha! I`ve been many times in Guilin and stayed in many hotels around, every time I travel there , staying in different hotel. It took me a while to book this one but after reading all reviews, I decided to stay here and definitely it was a good decision. Win-win for price-service. Hotel is close to PSB/ Place to do medical check/ all great restaurants are around and there is a spa that is open until 4am (3rd floor). Both guys that are working at reception are nice and helpful, check-in wwas done really fast. Room was one of the cleanest I had in hotels around Guilin and got the room on 5th floor. I could not hear any sound (as some people mentioned before) coming from KTV that is located on 2nd floor. Its quiet and definitely a great choice for short stay. What It could be a bit more clean is the carpet in the room but that is just my opinion, and WIFI could be a bit faster. Its really easy to find Hotel and its around 8 mins DIDI/Taxi to city center/ Elephant Trunk Hill or local bar street (11, Commune..). If you are coming by train to the West or North Guilin Station , takes maybe 20 mins by car which isn`t too far. There are 3 supermarkets downstairs that are open 24/7 and Hospital( just in case) that is 3 mins away. Worth to mention is that a guy that works at reception speaks good English so in case your Chinese is not that good, there will be no problem. Overall I would say strong 4.5/5 ! Would recommend , I don`t think you could find a better place for this amount of money. Cheers
