"Great hotel, it’s like a home there’s 2 bedrooms with all the amenities you need, washing machine, microwave. Lots of storage space. Highly recommend. Will stay there again if we go there."
"the room and facilities inside are clean and tidy, specially toilet and fridge, very impressive.
front desk was polite and helpful, communicable with English, overall a pleasant stay."
"It is very close to the subway station, which is considered the center of Gwangju. It is also convenient to eat, drink and go shopping around.
Because it was not time to check in, I temporarily stored my luggage and then went to the place where I used to live~ A heavy snow, an unforgettable New Year's Eve~
It is very convenient to order takeout, which will be delivered to the first floor. The service of the brother and sister at the front desk is also very good~
I will choose this place next time I go to Gwangju~"
"The overall environment of the room is OK, there is a bathtub, the room is very warm, and there is a CU convenience store downstairs. The hotel is located in the city center, about 10-15 minutes walk from Uncheon subway station (운천역), and next to the 5.18 Memorial Park. The biggest problem is that the bed sheets and quilt covers are not cleaned properly. After opening them, I found a lot of hair stuck to them😣. The waiter changed the room, but the new room still had the same problem😣. The breakfast variety is a bit limited. I don’t know if it is the same here."
"I will rest well and visit again.
I came to Gwangju and took home good memories thanks to you.
The room condition was good for the price and the breakfast was good."
"- The staff in the lobby were very accommodating.
- The accommodations were spacious, clean, and comfortable.
- The breakfast was neither overly generous nor lacking in variety, quantity, or taste; it was just right.
- The surrounding area was full of motels and bars, so I thought this might be a consideration for solo travelers.
- One thing that was disappointing was that check-out was at 11:00, but around 10:30, as I was getting ready to leave, they called my room asking when I would be checking out. I told them I was leaving soon, but I thought they'd misunderstood the check-out time, so I asked if check-out was 11:00. They didn't answer, just said, ”Okay, I understand,” and hung up. I think they were the cleaning staff, but this was the first time they'd asked this question over the phone, rather than through the system. I was very satisfied with my stay, but it ended on a bad note. Other than that, everything else was great."
"Great hotel. Great service. Actually clean and without that much wear and tear. Wi-Fi worked great. It’s super close to the subway station and high speed rail. Convenience store is outside the hotel around the corner. View wasn’t that great but it wasn’t a priority for me.
The jacuzzi shower head is like a jet engine. Very satisfied."
"This is the first hotel I visited during my business trip to Gwangju. I was surprised that the room condition was better than I expected. The room size was large, but the bed was a little hard."

Great
SSarah Lois YongA 15-minute bus ride away (depends on traffic) from the Gwangjusongjeong KTX Train station. A hotel with very cheerful and friendly staff! Bright, clean and spacious room with toiletries that smell so good (relaxing tangerine scent). Bed is really comfortable. Good sound-proofing (for light sleepers).
Breakfast is a self-help bar. I was too shy to cook noodles and fry eggs in front of other guests. Gimbap (seaweed rice rolls) was good with my coffee.
Recommendations for food and places of interests were compiled neatly in a folder in the room. I tried the 낙지 (baby octopus) restaurant and visited the Asia Culture Centre. A worthwhile trip!
Aside from Naver Map needed to navigate the location of the hotel from the bus stop, I was quite pleased with everything else.
AAnonymous UserThe transportation is very convenient. The hotel is right at the KTX station, across the road and into the inner street. It is easy to find the hotel. There are bus stops, subway stations, convenience stores, restaurants, OY, and coffee shops within 3 minutes, which is suitable for travelers who take the train to Gwangju.
The room is big, with independent air conditioning, styler and large TV. The hygiene is acceptable. The bathroom may be too big, so the cleanliness can be improved in some places. There are hairs and stains in the bathtub.
The hotel also has free breakfast, which is good overall.
GGuest UserPros
Excellent Location: The hotel is conveniently located near the metro line, making it easy to access the airport and main train station.
Soundproofing: The soundproofing is impressive, allowing for a restful night’s sleep without disturbances from outside noise.
Great Dining Options: There are plenty of good food options nearby, adding to the overall experience.
Cons
Bright Control Panel Lights: The orange light from the temperature control panel is excessively bright at night. Additionally, the centralized light control panel emits a very bright blue light. Even after turning off the main lights, these panels create a glowing ambiance that can be quite annoying. In Japan, similar panels allow users to turn off the lights on the control itself, which would be an improvement here.
Conclusion
Overall, while the location, soundproofing, and dining options are excellent, the overly bright control panel lights detract from an otherwise enjoyable stay. I hope the management considers making adjustments to enhance guest comfort.
BBeau BonitaFeel like you stay in the middle of myeongdong shopping street and easy taking bus about 20mins to hotel from Gwangu station. The room is big, separating bedroom and living room with the vintage style, seems old fashion but clean unlike bathroom. Overall is good but it is quite taking time from GJ station.
KKliTorThere were 15 storeys in our hotel. Our room was on the second floor. It was quite big. There was one double bed, two single beds, a bathroom and a balcony in it. The view from the balcony was unforgettable – serene infinite sea and lush greenery.
There was a big restaurant in our hotel. We had our breakfast there. The food at the restaurant was delicious and varied.
There were two large swimming pools in the hotel. One swimming pool was only for adults, however, the other swimming pool was for everyone. By the swimming pools there were bars where we could get snacks and ice-cream. There was also a gym with a sauna, a small tennis court and a gift shop in our hotel.
I really liked our holiday in Malta and I hope that one day we will go back there!
밍밍두사랑귬I was thinking about Holiday Inn and Ramada Plaza,
but I chose this place because it was my first time.
Cleanliness is my top priority, and it was a trustworthy place.
The bed is really nice.
I slept really well.
Cons: There is no parking space if you go in late at night.
That part is a little disappointing,
but the service is also great. There are a lot of things to eat for breakfast,
and it's delicious.
Overall, I'm satisfied.
I'll make a reservation again next time I go to Gwangju.
GGuest UserThe hotel location is good and the room is very spacious
There is even a table on the sofa
So it is comfortable
The building is a bit old, so it is not new, but it is clean
When I went into the room I stayed in, it smelled a bit of cigarette smoke
But it was okay when I turned on the air conditioner
Breakfast is also delicious for this price!
LliqiI had to stay here because I had some urgent business near Chonnam National University. I was worried and skeptical because the price was ridiculously cheap. ^^; The staff was so kind that I wondered why I had been worried. The welcome kit and towels were all provided, which was pretty good! They turned on the air conditioner in advance, so I was able to sleep comfortably. I plan to stay here again if I have an urgent business! It's even better because it's close to the bus stop.
EEffyOhhWe had booked a deluxe double room for 3 people and were told the day we were arriving that it wasn't possible. Trip contacted us to sort it out and we were ready to pay an extra room and sorti it later. But when we arrived, they surprisingly were very nice about it and didn't mind when they saw ”reservation for 3 people” so we got a nice room for 3 people and they even gave us extra amenities (shampoo, shower gel...)
We also had breakfast for the 3 people (which was also surprising as it said for 2) nothing amazing but fresh fruits and a few other things we didn't eat.
Staff were very very friendly and accommodating so i would recommend and also visit again if I'm going back to gwangju.
GGuest UserAlthough it was a little old, it was overall a satisfactory accommodation. Mano is a place with motels and hotels nearby, and there are many restaurants, so it is a good location.
