The hotel rooms are spotless, and the hygiene inspection was incredibly thorough. The entertainment facilities, especially the swimming pool, are beautiful. The meals are delicious, and the staff are all very friendly. Breakfast is served from 7 AM to 11 AM, which is a really long and convenient window. The hotel's location is excellent for transportation, very close to the subway station – just a few minutes' walk. There are also several parking lots available at the hotel, which is a great plus. Highly recommended!

Atour is always my first choice for business trips! The location is superb, right by the subway, making getting around incredibly convenient. The front desk staff were efficient and welcoming during check-in, offering meticulous and polite service. The room was spotless, with a simple yet elegant design. The bedding was soft and skin-friendly, the mattress had just the right firmness, and the soundproofing was excellent, so I could fall asleep soundly after a busy day. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, and the toiletries were high quality. Complimentary tea bags and mineral water were also provided. The Bamboo House library in the lobby had a wonderful, peaceful, and healing atmosphere, giving the whole place a rich cultural vibe. The value for money is outstanding, it's perfect for business travelers. I'll definitely choose this place again next time!

The only good thing about this hotel is its proximity to the Shenyang US Consulate, about 200 meters away. The elevators are very slow for such a tall building. Also, the pillows are definitely not Atour's; they're incredibly hard with no bounce. Most importantly, the room was colder than the hallway! The window was drafty! It was really, really cold in the room!!!

This hotel is perfectly located for exploring Shenyang Imperial Palace and Marshal Zhang's Mansion! It's right in the heart of Zhongjie, so you can just step out and start shopping. The subway entrance is just a few steps away, making it super convenient to get to all the attractions and save time and effort. The hotel itself is stylish and minimalist, with a great atmosphere in the lobby. The rooms are spotless, and you can tell they pay attention to the details. After a tiring day of sightseeing, sinking into the soft bed was instant relaxation. Despite being in a bustling area, it's incredibly quiet, with excellent soundproofing. The value for money is outstanding, and it's definitely on my list for my next visit to Shenyang. The hotel offers easy access to local Shenyang snacks and generally maintains a well-kept environment. The public areas are tidy, and the rooms feel cozy with well-maintained amenities. I especially enjoyed the self-service afternoon tea (13:00-15:00) and the delicious freshly ground and brewed coffee at the lobby bar.

The hotel's location is super convenient; you can see it right from North Station and even access it directly via an underground passage. Subway Lines 2 and 4 are right downstairs, making transportation a breeze. Taxis can also drop you off directly at the hotel entrance. Breakfast is available, though the variety is pretty standard. They also offered a complimentary business lunch or dinner, which had limited options, but it was enough to fill you up. The room looked exactly like the pictures, but the cleanliness details weren't great and definitely need improvement.

I had accidentally booked the wrong dates, and Vince, the manager at the front desk, went above and beyond by actively communicating with Ctrip (travel agency) to prevent me from losing a day's worth of fees. My sincere thanks to him! I stayed for two days, and it truly felt like a five-star experience in terms of facilities and service. From the bathroom fixtures to the room decor, everything was made with high-quality materials from its time. This old hotel has its own unique charm, and it's rare to see such consistent and diligent maintenance – something they've definitely achieved here. The breakfast offered a great selection of both Chinese and Western dishes, and the restaurant was bright and spacious. I even took some pictures to remember it by. The hotel is close to Taiyuan Street, so there's an endless variety of local specialty foods to try. However, Taiyuan Street itself has lost a lot of its former glory compared to how it used to be.

I chose this hotel when I was getting my visa in Shenyang because I thought the Grand Hyatt was too expensive. To my surprise, it exceeded all expectations – it was incredibly clean! The carpets, bedding, and bathroom had no strange smells, and there were no artificial fragrances, which I absolutely loved! I even got a free upgrade to a suite. The hotel staff helped me with my luggage to the room. Across the street from the hotel, there's a lake where you can stroll around, and a metro station, making it super convenient to get out and about without worrying about traffic. The lemonade dispenser opposite the front desk on the first floor always has ice-cold lemonade. Honestly, besides the breakfast not being particularly varied, there are really no downsides!

I previously stayed at Somerset Dalian Development Zone and had a fantastic experience. It's quite rare to find a serviced apartment hotel in a provincial capital, especially one with a two-bedroom suite over 100 square meters, near a bustling commercial area and right next to a high-speed train station. This unit boasts two bedrooms, two living rooms, two bathrooms, a laundry room, and an open-plan kitchen (fully equipped with bedding and tableware). The two bedrooms are also spaced apart, providing independent and undisturbed resting spaces for two generations, while still feeling like home. The hotel offers a private cinema, a kids' club, a gym, a billiards room, a golf simulator, a relaxation terrace, meeting rooms, a spa, and more. What's particularly thoughtful and convenient is the extended self-service breakfast hours, catering to different breakfast schedules. You can rest, work, and entertain without leaving the hotel. The location is right next to a busy commercial hub. The service, from the restaurant to the guest rooms and front desk, is impeccable – warm and attentive. This will definitely be my go-to hotel next time I visit Shenyang. Just a few minor suggestions: The navigation location isn't very accurate. The hotel entrance isn't very noticeable. The interior design of the terrace is great, but the external view is a bit contrasting and the air quality isn't the best. I hope these can be improved to make the experience even better.

Downstairs, Wang Houyuan Dumplings are delicious, and the Qianlima BBQ across the street is also highly recommended; you should try their chicken racks too. It's incredibly convenient for getting around and dining. However, I wouldn't recommend the Xiaohuyan Morning Market or the Caitadian Night Market nearby; they're overpriced, the food is mediocre, very commercialized, and rarely frequented by locals. **Good Sleep Experience:** The soundproofing in the rooms is quite good, and the bedding is clean and comfortable, ensuring a high-quality rest. **Prompt Service Response:** When issues like a clogged floor drain arose, the hotel manager was patient and resolved them promptly. On the morning of the 24th, while dining at the buffet restaurant, I noticed obvious stains on the edge of a plate (as shown in the picture). A male waiter saw it and reacted quickly, immediately taking the plate away. His actions were timely and appropriate, which is commendable. He immediately informed a female waitress on site about the issue. However, it was disappointing that the female waitress responded, 'So many people eat at the buffet every day; it's impossible to check every plate.' Now for the negatives: **Severely Outdated Hardware:** The room furnishings are old-fashioned and stained, the clothes hanger was broken, and the room door sagged, making it difficult to open and close. The carpet had large areas of old stains, which looked quite bad. After I reported this to Ctrip, the platform was very helpful in coordinating a solution. The hotel manager was patient and proactively offered a room upgrade. Ultimately, we declined the upgrade and opted for free breakfast instead, but the hotel's attitude towards resolving the issue is commendable. (Although, when communicating with the manager, I overheard a female waitress next to her quietly questioning if I was 'looking for trouble,' which made me feel a bit uncomfortable. I was simply providing honest feedback.) **Poor Attention to Hygiene Details:** The floor drain in the shower was clogged, leading to standing water. Also, as mentioned, there were obvious stains on a plate during breakfast on the 24th. **Management Awareness Needs Improvement:** Regarding the cutlery hygiene issue, the on-site female waitress explained it away by saying 'there are too many people to check individually.' This reveals a lack of standardized procedures and treats an objective difficulty as an excuse for a management oversight. Finally, I'd like to say that while this stay wasn't perfect, Ramada, as an established four-star hotel, generally has good service and staff quality. However, it definitely needs some reforms. The hotel occupies an excellent location, but the current hardware completely fails to live up to its 'four-star' rating and 'prime location' value. I recommend considering phased renovations (for example, renovating one floor at a time and then progressing through the others). Although this would result in a short-term loss of revenue, in the long run, improving the hardware to recover ratings and reputation would yield a far greater return than simply 'resting on its laurels' as it is now.
