The hotel is relatively old, but it is in the first row by the sea. The room has a small balcony, facing the yacht marina. There is a small supermarket downstairs. You need to take the bus to the ancient city. The station is also downstairs. It is very convenient.

The hotel is very new, and the first impression of the hardware is very good👍The room is quiet but the service is average. (first four pictures) I stayed for four nights and only received 2 bottles of water on the first night. They explained that they would only be provided on the first night. Coffee and tea in the mini bar were no longer provided starting from the second night. They explained that they had forgotten it and finally provided them on the fourth day. But the sugar scattered on the table also spilled out (the last two pictures). These two points make the hotel service very cheap! Also: I really don’t like the old lady in charge of tourist reception at the front desk. I wanted to ask where to take the sightseeing bus, but she didn’t want to answer and instead asked me if I had bought a ticket. Does that mean you bought a ticket before answering? Breakfast is also good!

Great service-clean hotel This is the first review I have written for a hotel The hotel was great !the reason I am writing this review is because of the hotel staff. This was an first visit to Malta and with their help.suggestion and gudisncs we had a great experience. Our room was quite opacious and enough storage for a phot stay.It was another clean .Breakfast was excellent If returning to Malta ,we will stay at The window hotel again!

The hotel opened only a couple of days before I stayed there. The room I stayed in was quite modern in its decoration. The bed was very comfortable and other amenities like TV, fridge (no mini-bar) and safe are avilable. Staff was very friendly and acommodating, any minor glitches were quickly taken care of. Breakfast buffet is in the lobby area and has a satisfying selection of fruits, cheeses and meats. There is a pool at the top floor that has quite a nice view over Gzira. I'd recommend to bring your own beverages as the selection in the cooler is limited. This is a hotel I will definitely return to next time I'm om Malta.

Well, what a great hotel. We arrived on the opening day after a name change from the last hotel name (same owners, different name) We was meant to go to Las Vegas but it didn't happen so we went to Malta. The Hotel was stll being refurbished but a lot of the rooms was open, We was given room 3124 a gorgeous room, with a really nice view. We was shown to our room by Vikky (Viktoria, the Guest Relations Manager) after being checked in by Natalia (i think) We also got a bottle of wine for our long awaited honeymoon as our honeymooon kept being cancelled including the Las Vegas one. As Hilton Diamond members we get breakfast included in our room rate, Breakfast is an expansive affair with far too much to choose from, i went for Salad, i know, crazy right. but topped it off with a nice omelette. The outdoor pool is small but very good, the indoor pool much larger but far too hot for us. Service is great and fast, they was always out taking orders and bringing drinks quickly so you could enjoy more outdoor time. After a few days of being there we asked if we could upgrade to All Inclusive which turned out to be very good, we'd done everything we wanted to do in St Paul's bay so wanted to hang in or near the hotel. All the food is delicious and drinks, although confusing of what was allowed for AI customers, i made the suggestion of having a drinks menu of what drinks ARE allowed as we got a lot of you 'can't have that' A few members of staff made our stay really fantastic and always took the time to say hi and have a great conversation. These include Vikki (GRM) Lorenzo (bar supervisor) Jason in the same bar, always happy, always friendly and Desislav Juniper bar and other staff that we just didn't get their names. The hotel is a 5 minute walk from the main Square with a vast amount of shops, bars and restaurants. This used to be the old Dolmen Hotel and they have retained a lot of their staff, it's been nice seeing them adapt to a new system which can be challenging but they will get there in time. At the time of writing this review, there still are building works going on but getting less and less as its all getting finished. After much deliberation for location and hotel for our stay in Malta we chose 'The Regency Plaza, Sliema*' and after a fantastic week here we know that we chose well. Very happy with the hotel from the reception - happy to help with anything and everything, baggage storage (until our room was ready), our room, the bed, the view, the pool (outdoor one is blooming cold but who cares!), the breakfast choice to most importantly, location! It's important to know that *Sliema is massive and where the ferries go from. This hotel is quite a distance from there (although easily walkable) and is actually situated in Exiles Bay (Bus stop is actually Antik - right outside the hotel) a much quieter and prettier area. We were put on the 5th floor and were so glad as the views were superb and also the outside noise isn't as intense, but the sliding door to the balcony is very effective at cutting out the noise anyway. I loved to sit and watch the world go by early morning and evening - people jogging, walking, taking dogs for a walk or the may electric scooters whizzing by. We had no trouble sleeping nor did we hear any other noise (like music or road traffic etc). There are a couple of nice bars/restaurants opposite the hotel and directly out of the hotel entrances (yes, there are two receptions and entrances) is a pizza place (which you walk through to get in) and a Costa Coffee shop. Our room was a reasonable size and had all the amenities we needed - safe, hairdryer, plenty storage, a nice shower (but you do have to pay extra for coffee making facilities) but the toilet took forever to re-fill after a flush - a tad annoying but nothing I'd really moan about. The shower had some marks on the grouting but overall the room was very clean and the maids came everyday. Bed was comfortable and blackout curtains ensured a good nights sleep. Breakfast was a very, very typical European hotel offering. Cooked sausages, bacon, eggs, beans, tomatoes etc. Plenty choice of break, fruit, meats and cheese. Lovely fresh cooked warm croissants with a choice of jams, chocolate sauce and more. Coffee and juice via machines and waitresses very efficently cleaning up after you as soon as you are done, so no clutter of plates on tables etc. As mention, the top floor swimming pool was excellent but really cold. We found this both bracing and refreshing on the warmer days, plenty of sunloungers, a pool bar and mutliple level seating (as there are two sides to the hotel, you can cross over). We got a 7 day bus travel card for €21 each and we used them to death as it is so simple to get anywhere on the island by bus. They are clean, frequent and convenient. The bus stops are right outside the hotel for either direction. They can get full during 'rush hours' but that's always part of the charm of travel by bus we find! I spent 5 days in hotel due to business visit to Malta. First feeling was-it feels like home, it is very comfortable since room is equipped with everything you need (if anything missing, reception stuff was always helpful). My room was on the 9th floor with a great view, and quite calm. Since I visited in February, I was not lucky to use rooftop pool, but I would be happy to go back since there is a great view from the pool (pool deck was open so you could go and catch some sun). Another plus is that there is laundry service in basement, which I imagine for trips longer than just a few days is very useful. Everything was very clean (they do weekly cleaning which I didn't mind as I read policy in advance), and staff was very nice. Check in was smooth and late check out was possible since room was not booked, that I appreciated greatly due to late flight that day. I found out that currently they are switching between operators for kitchen so unfortunately I didn't get to experience lunch/dinner that was mentioned in previous comments, but I believe this will add so much to their offer from March onwards. You can still order food through Wolt and have it at home (which I found very cozy!), which is a plus compared to classic hotel concept. Location is in Msida, which is more of residential area, which I didn't mind (since I lived in this area some years ago when I was working in Malta) since it's very quite and you can reach the sea by walk. It's very central so by taxi or bus is also quite easy and fast to reach touristy and bars area. Overall great experience and very comfortable. I would recommend.

Stayed for 7 nights in a deluxe room on 10th floor. Check in was easy and very efficient. Room was large with a decent balcony. Bathroom had separate shower and bath. Not very many electric points and no USB charging points. Overall the room was good but in need of modernising. We had an issue with knocking from the water pipes ( not in our room) for our whole stay. Breakfast was plentiful, but limited options for vegetarian and even less for vegan choice. Pool area was great, with lots of loungers and shaded areas. Staffing at the pool bar seemed to be a bit hit or miss, one day 6 staff, the next day 2. Service at the hotel bar was also an issue on a few occaisions, mainly when there were conference groups. The location of the hotel was great, but not for those who would struggle with stairs. Overall great location, but faded granduer and some staffing issues
