Simon was exceptional! Brought us around in a boat helped us take stunning photos and was just in every way possible made our stay superb! Would highly recommend a stay here. Worth every penny. Very therapeutic and authentic Chinese experience (and given it’s the only 1 of 1 resort with a private lake and 40000sqm of space) it’s definitely worth an experience.

Lovely hotel in the middle of West Creek/ Xixi National Wetlands Park in Hangzhou. The hotel and service offerings are excellent, located in a very secluded spot away from the hustle and bustle, great for relaxation and enjoying the serene and tranquil surroundings. There is a small lake in the middle of the hotel, which I understand is owned and managed by the hotel. The views are wonderful and better than going to the famed West Lake (way too touristy and crowded). I think this hotel has a lot going for it, even though it’s not a known brand. I would say some things for improvement are as follows: Must, must open a spa. AmanFayun, Banyan Tree, Anh Luh and Four Seasons all have spa’s and they’re at roughly the same price point. This wasn’t a deal breaker for me, but for some people this would put them off from booking here. Gym. This place needs an on-site gym for obsessed exercise freaks like me (and other health obsessives that want to go to an all-inclusive resort). Also, with the yummy high calorie food offerings in the restaurant, I would like to work those calories off and not worry about getting home fatter than when I left! Restaurant – Excellent service from the wonderful manager, who I forgot to ask her name and all her staff. Very good manners from all the staff, very quiet voices, barely can hear them speak amongst themselves. However there needs to be more of an international offering for people that visit from outside China (US/ Europe, India/ South East Asia/ Gulf countries, who all would probably stay here in the future). There should be another restaurant that offers international fayre, as well as the traditional Chinese restaurant, so both sets of visitors are catered for, and more choice is always good for people that stay longer than 3 days. And vegetarian/ vegan options would be very appreciated. The “Savoir resort” is not mentioned on Didi maps or on Baidu maps, and the Chinese name bears absolutely no resemblance to the English name 杭州所见 – 西溪度假酒店. Foreign people may have problems finding this location on their maps/ getting here without help (the less help that is required, the better). The two top-end rooms (6999 yuan a night and 15,000 yuan a night) cannot be booked on 携程 （Ctrip） or Trip.com. I think there should be 5 – 10 pictures on the site showing these rooms as bookable. I take a long time researching a hotel before booking, so the more information available, the better. The boat trip in the hotel is way better than the boat trip offered outside the hotel. I really enjoyed it, but I don’t think many people use it, which is a shame of a great resource. The fact this hotel has its own private lake is something that makes it stand out from the other hotels. The hotel is great is a must to go if you want a place to relax in Hangzhou, a recommendation in regards of the service is that maybe waitresses don't need to be so pushy when you are ordering at the restaurant and the minibar can have a bottle of wine or some beers, aside from that the hotel is great!!

poor toilet design. the toilet has bad ventilation and the drainage can be easily blocked. the shower door and floor is also poorly finished and water will easily overflow to outside.

What a great discovery this place was! Comparable with brands such as Aman, Banyan Tree and Ahn Luh. As you enter the property over a causeway, through a pond of lily pads, you will view the traditional architecture of the lobby house and know you have arrived somewhere special. As you progress through the hotel you will find a beautiful infinity pool, overlooking the wetland. This is adjoined to a library, where a variety of cultural activities such as incense making and tea craft are offered each day. Across from the pool is the hotel’s restaurant. Where breakfast, lunch and dinner can be enjoyed , whilst taking in more views of the wetlands natural beauty. The room itself was beautifully appointed, with modern facilities including a Dyson hairdryer and a refrigerator stocked with numerous beverages, that were all complimentary. Before departing Shanghai, I received a call from Felipe, who provided me with an excellent butler service throughout my stay. She confirmed my arrival time and offered to help with any transfers. Once I arrived, Felipe and Ethan from front desk showed me around the property and introduced the room and its facilities thoroughly. Felipe added my WeChat and would be available for me anytime I needed. Whilst at the pool, I asked Felipe whether I could order some snacks. Not only did she have them delivered quickly, but also confirmed whether they had arrived. That was very kind and thoughtful of her. The following day, I asked Felipe for ideas of things to do that do after breakfast. As soon as I took my last sip of coffee, a boat was waiting for me. The captain of the boat was Simon, one of the hotel’s managers and a former Aman employee. Felipe and Simon gave me a boat tour around the property, followed by a personal and complimentary tour of the village, where I was bought some local persimmons. It was the aesthetic of a luxury, Jiangnan style hotel that initially attracted me. However, it was the warm, heartfelt service that made this trip so enjoyable. If there was anything that could be improved, I would suggest widening the dining options, supplying English menus and improving table watching in the restaurant. Parents should also be aware that the pool is quite deep and they need to accompany their children at all times. That being said, Savoir is a wonderful hotel with amazing service and the perfect destination for a few days rest from the noisy and busy outside world.

Environment: Needless to say, the lake view room we stayed in was absolutely beautiful! Always love nature🍃🎋🎍🍀🌱 Hygiene: You can't avoid bugs when staying in an eco-hotel🐛 I stayed in another resort hotel in Xixi before, and there were bugs and I was bitten all over. I was very satisfied that I didn't get bitten this time when I stayed in Xixi! Facilities: The only thing that was not perfect was the bathroom. The white cracked floor and bathtub, some wear marks and depreciation were very obvious. After washing, the floor was a little wet, and it looked dirty and old, so I brought a disposable bath bag but didn't use it, but I didn't stay in the bathroom often, so it wasn't too disappointing. Service: There are very good staff to pick us up and drop us off at check-in and check-out. Ordinary vehicles cannot enter the scenic area, so we took the subway. When we got out of Exit E2, there was a big brother waiting in a shuttle bus. When we arrived at the hotel, there was a very handsome little brother to take us to the room. I was sorry that we had a lot of takeout, and the takeout could only be placed on the takeout rack at the entrance of the scenic area. The staff helped us pick it up and send it several times. I was embarrassed. The little brother comforted me and said: This is what I should do. I am happy if you are happy! ! ❤️When checking out, a ** big brother was very enthusiastic to help with the luggage, and called a little brother to take us to the entrance of the scenic area to take a taxi. But I have to say that most of the staff are a little indifferent compared to other hotels🥲 Welcome fruit on the first day: brought in a very delicate small basket! Night bed service: a little perfunctory, no small drinks and snacks, ordered an aromatherapy and left. The only negative point this time is breakfast! ! Can I say it was terrible and perfunctory? I drank 2 glasses of orange juice with my friend and went back to the room. If I had known the standard, I would not have wandered all the way to the restaurant (because the hotel is really big and there are many roads, we searched for a long time before we found it) Next time I have the opportunity to stay there again, I will definitely not ask for breakfast! But this trip was still very happy! ❤️

The hotel environment is comfortable and the air is good, every employee is friendly and courteous, and the green environment is well maintained. After breakfast every day, I couldn't help but walk around the hotel and booked a terrace lake view room. Even if I could enjoy the scenery outside the villa in the room, I could relax physically and mentally. It was indeed a good vacation environment. The restaurant environment is quiet, elegant, and clean. The breakfast is abundant. The food for dinner is of good quality and tastes good. I would rather go back to the hotel for dinner three nights.

The manager is super nice~ He recommended us how to play~ There are also delicious foods~ The environment is amazing! Very elegant and quiet~ Away from the noisy city center~ The air is also very good~ A natural oxygen bar~ The room is very comfortable and I like the smell of their toiletries. It's refreshing~

The most satisfying thing is of course the environment. Although it is a free area in Xixi Wetland, the hotel's own landscape is also unique. It belongs to the tone of Chinese gardens. I wake up to the sound of birds every day, which I like very much. I especially like the place where I enjoy afternoon tea. When there are few people, I can sit leisurely on the outer corridor, drink tea while watching the clear water, and occasionally there are water birds flying by, which is very comfortable. Finally, I would like to thank the hotel manager Liu for being very enthusiastic and providing a lot of help during my stay. Special thanks!

Environment: The hotel in the wetland is very suitable for this season, with lush plants, blooming flowers, and not many mosquitoes. Welcome fruit on the first day: The fruit plate is quite rich, we didn't finish it Service: The staff in the hotel are generally very enthusiastic and introduced the environment in detail I slept very comfortably at night, and the bed was soft and hard. The electric mosquito coils had been plugged in in advance, and there were no mosquitoes in the room.

The hotel environment is magnificent, and the scenery of Xixi is unforgettable. The service level is superb, and I look forward to visiting again.

The environment is really nice, and the service is also good👍🏻The most important thing is that I ate two meals in the restaurant inside, and the taste (*≧∪≦)😋 was very good. Although I don't know if it can be considered authentic Hangzhou cuisine, the dishes can be tasted with care❤️I think it would be nice to go there again if I have the chance. The only shortcoming is that the transportation cannot be entered because of the online car-hailing service. The store used a special car to send us to the entrance of the scenic spot, which also made up for it🥰

As always, I am satisfied. I have been here three times. Except for the second time when the hotel was under renovation, everything else was very good. Thank you Mr. Liu for your coordination and service!
