Hotel location is good, no more than 500 meters from the West Lake, the hotel terrace can be seen, it is worth mentioning that the downstairs is Hangzhou Jiebai Shopping Mall, shopping and eating is too convenient, and the front and rear doors have elevators in and out, this time booked twin room The space is big, that is, no window will be boring, if the price is better, it will be better, take the old man out to really recommend this hotel!

Checked in twice on different dates, stayed fifth floor but different rooms. First room had a bigger shower room. Bottled of mineral water were provided daily. Comb, slippers, toothbrush were all provided. There was hair dryer provided as well. Hotel location is very convenient. It’s just right at the HuBinLu Walking Street with many shops, cafe and food choices. It’s also within walking distance to the famous attraction West Lake. Bus stop and mrt nearby too! Strongly recommend! Will come back and stay in the future. The male front office officer (surname Shen) was very attentive to our needs throughout the entire stays on different occasions. Also special thanks to the female front office officer on duty on 25/12 noon who did the check-out for us (can’t remember her name but it was two character on name tag). Her service standard was superb!

I had a wonderful stay at the Merchant Marco Edgelake Hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. The location of the hotel is fantastic and within walking distance of many attractions and dining options. The hotel itself exudes a charming ambiance, with tastefully decorated rooms that are both comfortable and well-equipped. I particularly enjoyed the stunning views of the lake from my room, which added an extra touch of serenity to my stay. The staff at the Merchant Marco Edgelake Hotel were also a standout feature. They were incredibly friendly, attentive, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure that guests had an enjoyable experience. From check-in to check-out, the service was impeccable. Additionally, the hotel amenities were excellent. The on-site restaurant served delicious meals, I also appreciated the hotel's attention to cleanliness and safety measures, which made me feel secure during my stay. Overall, my experience at the Merchant Marco Edgelake Hotel was fantastic. I would not hesitate to return and would recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming place to stay in the area.

Hotel located near to metro station. The nearest station is Ding’an station exit gate D. The metro is red color (Line 1) direct line connecting to Hanzgzhou airport. So if you coming from airport no need to the change line. Hotel itself located at city, morning time can walk to Hangzhou museum, along the way many shops around. Western shops eg: macdonald, costa coffee, starbuck. Alot cafe, tea, souvenir shops. Close also morning market called Damanong. Can have breakfast and see the morning market. Use the public bicycle to go there, just use alipay. Distance 1.2km. Near the morning market at the end there is God City Temple for you to visit, can see the whole Hangzhou city from top of the temple. The hotel is clean, have free washing machine and dryer machine. Detergent provided. At the same place there are 2 treadmills provided ( gym quality). Couch provided while you waiting for you laundry. There is also a steam iron provided. Breakfast selection is good with varities of foods like egg fried rice, chicken sausage, ham, beef, eggs, salted eggs, cereal, warm soy milk, milk, bread, butter and strawberries jam. Noodles, congee, fruits, croissant, cupcakes, corn, cookies. There are 2 robots helping to deliver things inside the hotel. If you order food, the robot will send the food to your room. There are also snacks you can buy at the ground floor. For muslim, this hotel located infront of a mosque, there is a Halal restaurant near to the hotel. More halal restaurant across the road near to exit A og Ding’an metro station. I came during Christmas, the hotel give me present for Christmas, when I check out they give me souvenir to me also. Everyday, I was provided with 2 bottles of water and change new set of towel. The water heater, the heater function very well during winter. Im a happy guy during the visit.

A very very good hotel with affordable price and a very good environment,the overall quality of the hotel is excellent. Both very clean and futuristic,with ai robots and Smart Control. This hotel is so far my all best hotel!!!!!!!

The location is perfect! It’s close to the metro (line 1) and right next to West Lake. The rooms were clean and did not smell like smoke. The concierge helped us get tickets for the amazing Songzhen show and a driver even picked us up. Next time we come to Hangzhou we will definitely stay and Dongpo. My one complaint is a lack of privacy in the bathrooms. The doors are clear.

The unit is located about 800m from LongXiangQiao Metro station. We took a walk from the station. It was not too difficult to locate with the help of the local Amap app. The check-in process was simple and relatively fast. The room was decent but was not prepared for the number of people we have indicated (we have indicated 3 people but everything was prepared for 2, including the towels, drink cups, etc). Nevertheless, the front desk was able to rectify upon requesting. It's a typical dated designed hotel room at level 5. There were windows but no view as we were blocked by the trees. The unusual part was the top hung bed (it was either super single or queen sized). The upkeep of the toilet was pretty bad, some tiles were broken, parts of the wash cabinet was put together with sticky tapes. Everything was functional though, including the washing machine. The price range was an attraction. The even greater attraction for this place was that the Wushan night-market which operates nightly is just a stone's throw away. Generally happy with our stay there.

This store is quite good, with a very good environment. It just opened this year. The facilities and equipment are among the best in Hangzhou youth hostels. It is clean and comfortable, and there are aunties cleaning it every day. The beds in the room are all new, which is pretty good. The people living here are all young people and their quality is quite good. Moreover, this store is very close to popular attractions in Hangzhou such as the West Lake Scenic Area and Hefang Street. It can be reached in about 10 minutes on foot. It is very suitable for young people to go out and reduce the cost of accommodation. The service at the front desk is also very good. There is a person named Xiao Xu who praises him by name. The service is warm and thoughtful. Highly recommended!

I booked this room for a birthday and we were not disappointed! At the beginning we were put in a higher room, but with no view of the lake, so I asked to be moved and the staff was kind and gave us another room with view and an amazing, huge, bathtub. The position is pretty comfortable to reach the lake and has many amenities and shops around, in various malls. On the 3rd floor there is also the connection to a spa (not owned by the hotel) that we enjoyed a lot. The breakfast was very rich and varied, but I suggest not to go at 9 on Sunday, because it will be a little hard to find a seat!
