Sehr freundlicher Empfang, hilfreiches Personal. Zimmer sind sauber und einladend. Frühstück ist reichhaltig. Empfehlendswert. Preis und Qualität is 100% OK. Man wohnt hier im Zentrum von Herford, leichter zugang zu allem was man benötigt.

Wir planten zu sechst ein Familientreffen in Bad Salzuflen. Es passte zunächst alles! Der Zeitpunkt, das Wetter, die Stimmung und das Hotel. Ein freundlicher Empfang sorgte zunächst dafür, daß wir ,2 gehbehinderte Paare, kostenlose reservierte Parkplätze erhielten. So etwas hebt schon die Stimmung. Das dann in Anspruch genommene barrierefreie Zimmer war ideal und ließ keine Wünsche offen. Sauber, groß und genügend Bewegungsfreiheit! Ein ganz kleinen Hinweis würde ich geben, bitte das WC Becken etwas höher. Auch unsere erwachsenen Kinder hatten ein großes, sehr gut eingerichtetes Zimmer. Allein die Enkel fanden ihr Bett etwas schmal. Kein Problem für den freundlichen und wendigen Mitarbeiter am Empfang. Er versprach ein Upgrad, wenn Gäste nicht anreisen würden. So kams dann auch und 6 strahlende Gesichter konnten sich den angebotenen Highlights der Stadt widmen. Doch dann kam es dicke und gleich doppelt. Krankheit und Missgeschicke zwangen uns zur sofortigen Rückreise. Jetzt ging es um Schadensbegrenzung! Dem Hotel sollte kein Schaden entstehen und wir wollten unseren begrenzen. Nach Schilderung der Sachlage konnten wir wir bei der Hotelleitung auf ein gewisses Verständnis bauen und man kam uns zur Schadensminderung kulant entgegen. Dafür sprechen wir unseren ausdrücklichen Dank aus! Für uns ist es Pflicht und ein dringendes Bedürfnis recht bald wieder einzukehren. Nach einem hervorragendem Frühstück traten wir einigermaßen getröstet unsere Heimreisen an. Manfred

Although I arrived only at 20:30, the reception was still occupied, I know that too. Very nice staff have received me and recommended where I get something to eat in the center. My room was very spacious, top clean and in shot and tastefully modernly furnished. I liked the black-white photographs in the hall. The night was quiet, only the air conditioning that jumped after the shower could have run shorter, I had already feared to be able to bear the whole night ”company music”. But it wasn't that. Breakfast was rich, even with individually prepared mirror with bacon. Breakfast room is at the same time a public cafe, I found very nicely furnished. Overall I was very satisfied, my laden cable left I had one day later in My post. What more? I'll be guaranteed to stay there again when I come to Herford again.

Very good experience, suitable for families or friends to travel in depth, very good, quiet town, too suitable for roaming, slow pace, and beautiful place.

The hotel is very cost-effective, the surrounding facilities are very complete, and the railway station is next to it, which is very convenient for travel.

I came for business and stayed one night. It is a simple and straight forward hotel, good to have a rest, nothing more nothing less and they do not advertise different. Checkin was quick and easy. The room was small yet functional. There is nothing else but sleeping in this place and that is what they advertise. Other hotels in Bielefeld advertise different but are old and run down; this is quite honestly the best alternative to anything you can find in the city. Staff is ”straight forward”; which in my terms means they are not particularly polite or nice, but also not impolite but rather efficient. That is in my opinion absolutely ok for this level of Hotel and I would not expect more. Breakfast is very good. I would come back.

The stay in Mercure Bad Oeynhausen was good, there is hardly anything to challenge. Rooms sufficiently furnished, dark wood and large windows. Of course, non-smoking rooms, but outwardly equipped with a small, handy balcony and ash cups. The mattresses were unfortunately too soft for us, which ended in back pain. A bottle of mineral water instead of a minibar. The room in the closet was available, safe and TV also. Unfortunately the remote control was broken. Bad large, with shower, towels around naturally hand- and shower towels. All was clean, but it didn't smell completely well, since the air conditioning after the room service was probably not turned on and a strong cleaning agent is used. Breakfast Breakfast was very good, various bread and bread varieties, numerous lifts and other toppings. Furthermore, various juices, filter coffee and coffee specialities. Also as Vegans we have become very tired.

The Boardinghouse is near the train station and yet the rooms are quiet. We had a penthouse room in the 4th OG (without a seat). Very clean, with kitchen and a great balcony. A Lidl right in front of the door. Super for self-service! We had a problem with the TV, the boss came immediately and has tried everything to satisfy us. And that on Saturday night!! Thank you. A restaurant is in construction. We can only recommend this accommodation!
