Moon and Tri were such a delight! I instantly felt at home from the moment I parked my bike and entered the house. It's in a quiet and peaceful location, but also quick walk or bike ride to nearby stores and the beach. I really can't say enough positive things about the hospitality shown to me, especially being invited to join Tri and Moon for dinner (delicious local cuisine)! I just finished riding from HCMC to Hanoi, and this was hands down the best place I stayed, and I highly recommend this to anyone staying in the area. I really regret not having more time to stay another night.

Had a great and relaxing time here. It was everything that I needed close to the beach. The staff was extremely sweet and helpful and I would recommend it for people who are taking a slight break on their travels

I booked a short stay over of 2 nights at the moon home stay and felt like sleeping in the jungle. It’s a sweet little home in the middle of the veggie plantation in hoi an. The hosts speak perfect English and make you feel like you are the only guest there. Breakfast is a Selektion of dishes you can select from the night before and you can also pick a time in the morning you want it to be served . So no running last min to make it for breakfast. There’s an opportunity the rent bicycles for a few of 30k per day (moon said if you stay longer she will do them for free) Check in was swift and before the designated checking time. Check out was warm with a hug . Would def stay again for the price

I cannot give Tree and Moon enough stars. Their friendliness and kindness is indescribable. This isn't just a place to sleep but you become family. We got invited to have dinner with them and Moon made a wonderful meal. It was a really sad day when we had to leave. The rooms are spacious, clean, stable wifi and hot water.

Tri and Moon are the most welcoming, helpful and friendly people. Their homestay is beautiful and it had everything you need. I stayed here as part of my solo backpacking trip. Myself and my travelling friend from Germany met them on a bus on the way from Cambodia to Vietnam. They immediately went out of their way to help us with any confusion about the border crossing. We fell in love with them and their kindness, so we then booked to stay with them a few weeks later when we were in Hoi An. Tri was very helpful as he picked us up from the bus station when we arrived in the morning and provided us with breakfast. The location of the home is ideal - it’s located in a beautiful organic vegetable village and it feels so peaceful and homely which gives you a real feel for the local vibe. And the use of their pedal bikes was great, we would cycle to the beach in 5 minutes in one direction and then also only 10 minutes to the city centre in the other direction to see the lanterns on the river and go to all the bustling tourist areas of Hoi An. The room was so clean, just like a hotel, it was perfectly functioning, we felt very safe and it had a gorgeous view of the shrimp farm and of the river! And after of staying in hostels for my whole trip until now, it was the best sleep I had had in two months!! They also kindly took us to the best local place for breakfast where we had coffee and Banh Mi which was delicious. Moon then showed us to the best local tailor in the area and also to the second hand clothes shops in the area, this was so lovely of her and we really appreciated it. They really are such wonderful human beings and I am so glad that our paths crossed. Please stay here if you ever get the chance. It’s fabulous value and I promise you will enjoy it just as much as we did.

Great hosts, excellent location, and the breakfasts, served fresh every morning, were delicious. Tri and Moon even took all of their guests out for breakfast and then, a few days later, hosted lunch for us all. Tra Que Village is a great place to chill out, the beach is a short bike ride away, and the ancient town of Hoi An, a gentle 10 minute bicycle ride through lush rice paddies, is very chic. Have your camera handy. We will be back.

When I arrived I had lost my debit card but the husband and wife team helped me get back on my feet. The rooms are clean with a great view of the river. Food is delicious made from local fresh produce. Highly recommend the cooking class offered by the staff. Relax in a beautiful pool that lights up at night. Scooter I hired went well and was reliable. Can't thank Moon and Tree enough for the warm hospitality and stay who also dropped me off at the airport.

This homestay is on the island which means it is away from the hussle and bussle of the city centre. It is perfect to relax and even get in touch with nature if you want to. The owners, Tri and Moon are phenomenal. They are kind, caring and willing to inlcude you in all of their activities (if you wish to do so). It is a 5 - 10 minute drive to the old town on a scooter and the same distance from the beach. They have a beautiful pool on the property, which meant we did not even need to go to the beach to swim. I would recommend this place to everyone. It was wonderful.

We stayed 1 week at the Moon River homestay hosted by Tri and Moon. We felt incredibly welcome and they did their best to make us feel at home. For example they invited us to eat with them to celebrate the first day of the new year (TET), and explained a lot about the war and its impact on the local families and activities. I would definitely recommend staying here for a proper dive in the Vietnamese culture!

Super helpful and communicative Vietnamese couple. Always a smile to give. The rooms are clean and very comfortable. The view of nature in the morning is the perfect start to the day. They also offer cooking classes and it is possible to rent a scooter or bike. The city center and the beach can be easily reached in a few minutes by scooter/bike. I had a lot of fun and can only recommend this accommodation. Thank you for the time!

Just absolutely wonderful. The hosts, the island, the pool and the herbs. Mornings spent biking ancient paths through the rice fields, evenings hand fishing for octopus in the surf, and delicious meals shared with incredibly generous and fun hosts (Tri and Nguyen) in between. Couldn’t recommend more highly.

I just stayed at the place for almost a week and can highly recommend the accommodation as well as the owner. They went beyond to make my stay memorable. We went out for having breakfast at different places each day and they invited me for lunch and dinner (home cooked!) as well. Also Tri took care of everything I needed (pick up service, scooter and bike rental). I had a lovely time and one of my best homestays so far. Also the location is awesome, surrounded by farms and close to the beach and to the city. Thanks again and hopefully see you again :)
