GGuest UserThe room was comfy and spacious! My only minor gripe is that I wish there was an extra blanket, because the bed is so big that my partner and I kept fighting over the single one, haha. The dinner and breakfast buffets were incredibly diverse and filling – we ate so much! It rained all day, so we ended up staying in the hotel, but we didn't get bored at all. There were so many activities for both adults and kids to enjoy. Thumbs up! 👍

GGuest UserWe stayed in the Japanese-style mountain view room. The mattress was a bit thin and firm, so it took some getting used to. However, the view from the window was excellent, and we could even catch glimpses of the Lanyang Plain night view from the side of the balcony. This was a one-night, two-meal package. Dinner was at the Yuntian buffet, which offered a wide and delicious selection. The next day, we chose the brunch at Yanboting, which allowed us to sleep in and then head to the meal at our leisure – very relaxing. The brunch was a set menu, but it was very filling. The outdoor hot spring area had an essential oil pool, a fish spa (for pedicures!), and an outdoor swimming pool. The kids had a blast. Overall, it was a happy and comfortable trip.

薇vivi1. The hotel is new, the surroundings are quiet, and parking is convenient. 2. The room is clean with excellent natural light, and you can see Guishan Island in the distance from the balcony. 3. They offer a thoughtful snack service, so you don't have to worry about getting hungry late at night. 4. The breakfast selection is diverse and plentiful. 5. I would definitely come back again; it was a great stay.

GGuest UserThis time, I opted for a sea-view room. Inside, you can soak in the hot spring while enjoying the ocean view, and there's a balcony to feel the breeze and take in both the sunrise and the night view. The staff were incredibly friendly and enthusiastic. During late-night snack hours, there's a great selection of alcoholic beverages, plus a large screen to watch sports games. It’s perfect for families or couples looking for a relaxing getaway.

AAnonymous UserDon't trust Google Maps too much; when we first arrived, it led us on a detour. Actually, it's a straight shot from the train station down one main road until you reach a river, and the hotel is on your left (behind another hotel). That's the quickest way to get there. I highly, highly advise against booking the 'Pei' room type. It's truly tiny and features a tatami mat. Perhaps they sacrificed indoor space to make the public bathing area larger. Even with one adult and one child, we felt incredibly cramped, let alone two adults! So, I promptly went downstairs and paid extra to switch rooms. Luckily, there were available rooms, and the additional charge wasn't exorbitant; it was still very reasonable! After the switch, we got a quad room. I must commend the front desk staff! Throughout my two-night stay, every front desk agent I encountered was excellent, professional, and friendly! The restaurant staff was fantastic too! One day, I casually mentioned that some of the grapes at breakfast seemed a bit spoiled. The staff insisted on compensating me, and even after I refused several times, another staff member gave me two packs of face masks at checkout as an apology. They were so incredibly kind! Your front desk service was the best I experienced during my 13 days in Taiwan! Also, the breakfast was delicious!!! We ate there for two days, and the hot dishes were completely different each day! The chicken wings on the first day and the fried fish head on the second are still on my mind! There are complimentary refreshments in the lobby, especially the herbal tea, which was perfectly to my taste! My only minor complaint is that the bathroom had a slight odor. Every time I opened the bathroom door, I'd smell it, but thankfully, it wasn't noticeable once the door was closed. Also, it would be more convenient if there were more washing machines and dryers (currently there's only one). Ps. There's a newly opened bubble tea shop nearby with great flavors! And close to that bubble tea shop, there's also a new seafood restaurant with amazing food!!! The stir-fried water lily with pork was out of this world! A bit further away, there's also a fantastic place where kids can make their own pizza! If you're visiting Jiaoxi, I recommend staying here!

GGuest UserStayed at Hotel PIN from 10/4/26 to 14/4/26. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves from the time we checked in till we checked out. The staff were all very courteous, polite & helpful. They even helped with the setting up of the baby chair for our 2 x young kids during meal times. The rooms are very clean & it comes with a spa pool in every room. The housekeeping staff (Ben & Lemon) must be commended for keeping our rooms clean every single day we were there. The hotel also provides free tea break & supper everyday for its guest. The location is ideal & it is within walking distance to the Jiaoxi town areas with many convenience stores, nice local, street & Japanese food within 5 to 10mins walk. Overall a very pleasant stay at this hotel.

MMacGyFuThe facilities are quite new. Although the bathtub had a slight odor, the water pressure was excellent. However, the bathroom floor lacked anti-slip properties, which felt a bit dangerous. Also, the room's soundproofing wasn't great. Overall, it was still decent. As for service, since it's a self-check-in/no-front-desk design, I couldn't really rate it.

GGuest UserThe hotel is conveniently located about a 10-minute walk from the station, though walking wasn’t ideal during my stay due to rain. It’s a grand hotel and very walkable (3-10 minutes) to supermarkets, convenience stores, cafés, and even the night market. We chose this hotel because it’s one of the few that offers dual hot and cold spring tubs in the room. Bath salts were provided for the cold spring bath and replenished daily, which was a nice touch. There was a minor issue with one of the tubs leaking, but service recovery was excellent! Housekeeping checked promptly (within 4 minutes from our call) and we were switched to another room within 30 minutes, which was very much appreciated. The room, especially the toilet area, was spacious and matched the photos shown online. While some furniture and the tubs were slightly worn, there were no hygiene issues and the bed was comfortable. No noise issue at all. Breakfast had a good spread of Western and Chinese options. We arrived close to closing time, but the staff ensured we were well taken care of, which we appreciated. Overall, it was a pleasant stay and we enjoyed ourselves.

GGuest UserLocation: The hotel boasts a superb location, right next to a convenience store and surrounded by numerous dining options, making it incredibly convenient. Staff: While the staff's English was limited and no Japanese was spoken, they made a genuine effort to communicate effectively using smartphone translation apps. We encountered no issues whatsoever. Hot Spring: Absolutely fantastic! The hot spring water had a slightly cloudy, almost silky texture that left my skin feeling incredibly smooth afterward. The onsen facility itself was thoughtfully designed, featuring excellent ventilation and strong water flow, which encouraged me to enjoy multiple soaks. The large windows created a bright and open atmosphere during the day and a wonderfully tranquil mood at night, truly enhancing the entire hot spring experience. I would absolutely love to stay here again on my next visit to Jiaoxi Onsen!

AAnonymous UserFirst of all, this is a very old hotel that has seen truly better days. While maintained well, it has retained it's original furnishings and decor from the 1980s and 1990s. Staying here reminded me of my childhood travelling with my family in the 80s. The actual room does not look anything like the ones shown on the website. The hard floors mean you should wear their slippers or bring your own room slippers. The hot spring water advertised is just hot spring water pipes that go into your bathtub. There is a step that emulates hot spa step in the bathtub. The breakfast was good with nice braised meat and eggs that you can put over your rice or porridge. There's also hot soy milk. But no hot tea, only coffee. The staff look tired but hard working. There was a grumpy older lady receiptionist when we checked in and she was pretty rough in the check in process. E.g. ”if you don't put a number here, and you leave things in the hotel, we'll just throw them away! Just to tell you first.” Room was quite small or cosy, depending on your perspective. The only thing new was the air-conditioner. The TV set had all the settings for channels but none worked. Internet wifi was not quite working too.
