CCcsgbbThe only minor drawback is the slightly remote location, meaning you'll likely need a taxi or public bus to get down the mountain since the complimentary shuttle service isn't very frequent. Otherwise, there are virtually no other complaints. The room itself was very spacious, clean, and tidy, and the toiletries provided were quite good. The outdoor hot spring was fantastic! The hotel wasn't overly crowded, which made for a very quiet and peaceful atmosphere.

GGuest UserOne of thebest hotels I stayed at in Japan so far - close to the station, the are a bunch of cafes around. Convenient for thr bus to go to hells of beppu. There is an onsen in the hotel - open from 3pm to 9am btw, so you can chill in a bath at any time at night which is so cool.
Plus they have a free breakfast (personally didn't make it cuz it's till 9 am with last order at 8.40 which is too early for me) and a free drink bar every evening.
Would definitely stay again! No notes!

ā¢the breakfast set is delicious
ā¢loved the games night it was fun
ā¢the foot bath is great with the sea view
ā¢the coffee at the lounge is good but they should provide some japanese snacks
ā¢the popcicle after onsen is delicious
ā¢the onsen is small but it was nice and clean
ā¢the dinner took a long time to eat we didnāt liked the appetizers but the sashimi was fresh and the hotpot was good with lobsters.hotate and puffer fish
ā¢we missed the show at 21:30pm
ā¢the free ramen is delicious we had fun making the ramen
ā¢the bed was soft and we had a great sleep

GGuest UserThe hotel building is artistic designed, staff are super helpful and friendly, and fusion dishes at the Peak restaurant are excellent. The environment and surrounding are very pleasant but donāt expect convenience stores nearby.Ā
The only negative thing is they have onsen built in the room. When first stepped into the bedroom, thereās a strong smell of sulfur. The hotel probably wants to address it by having good ventilation such as air freshener machine prior to check in otherwise guests would get the wrong impression of poor/dirty drainage.

GGuest UserThe entryway is very spacious, and the room itself is surprisingly large, even bigger than it appears in the photos. The sea view is beautiful, and soaking in the hot spring at night felt just like having a private onsen. There's a bus stop right outside, with direct service to Chinoike Jigoku (Blood Pond Hell). Beppu Kitahama is right next door, and Don Quijote is just a short walk further. While it's a bit of a walk from Beppu Station, staying right by the sea often means sacrificing a little bit of convenience.

GGuest UserThis room is best suited for couples or solo travelers. If you're over 180cm (about 5'11ā) tall, I strongly advise against booking it as you'll find it extremely cramped. Similarly, if a couple is on the larger side, it might be a tight squeeze. It's truly ideal only for those who are not particularly tall or big.
The main perk is the access to the hot springs at the adjacent hotel, where the water is wonderfully soothing. Although there's a hot spring swimming pool upstairs, it was too cold and windy to enjoy; I visited in late May, and it was still quite cool.
The location is very convenient, with supermarkets and convenience stores nearby. It's an 8-minute walk from Beppu Station, and even if you arrive by bus, it's just a 10-minute stroll, making transport very easy.

The bathroom also needs to be equipped with hot and cold water.
The size of the room is satisfactory.
It's very cold, but you can control the heater.
Although it is a weekend, the price is too expensive and you have to pay a 1000 yen hot spring tax even if you do not use the hot spring when you check out.
