Hot Springs Hotels in Yokohama

We stayed at this hotel for 3 days. 2 adults and 1 kid. the hotel location is of course far from downtown tokyo, but that is a compromise we were willing to take to stay in a comfier and spacious room. there are two metro stations nearby (1 closer, other one a 20 minute walk away). Both walkways are passing through a mall and a covered pathway which has travelators installed. The nearby malls and cup noodle museum were great. lot of eating and dining options. and tōkyō downtown was a 40 minute subway ride. Overall a great stay. You can also get airport limousine from hotel reception level 1 and there are comfy sofas to wait for your checkin time or post checkout.

26th – 29th August 2023 Yokohama, Japan Mitsui Garden Hotel, Yokohama Some random thoughts / comments regarding our stay as they spring up: - Taxi arrives at G/F, no porter service but guests have to wheel luggage to 20/F to check in - ultra modern hotel, bright & airy, spacious lobby and so new – freshly opened in mid May 2023 - push through glass doors to fully exposed outdoor lounge with sofas and low coffee tables to sit and chill while enjoying a wide stretch of city view through wide glass panels - minimalism theme throughout the reception, lobby and extended to the rooms with clean, light beech minimalistic design - check in smooth and staff even though not the most conversant in English, pose no barriers in carrying out simple conversation - guests are to collect toiletries at a small nook beside the check in desk before heading up to the room--- choice of individually wrapped razor ; toothbrush+ paste ; shower cap; vanity set, comb, Q-tips to put inside a white zip-bloc to bring along to the room for own consumption - all toiletries are displayed bare for guests to take at liberty and every guest feels at ease to take what is needed without any staff there to peep over their shoulder—very generous hotel policy indeed - two bottles of water , tea sachets and drip coffee replenished daily - iron + ironing board provided upon request - the entire hotel, i.e. everywhere smells fresh, everywhere looks bright and clean - bedding and towels all white, fluffy and clean - slippers provided - USB and sockets all well positioned in the room - Telly available and a bottle of room freshener spray provided - shower & bathtub in one enclosed area to save space which in fact is a good and efficient idea to have everything confined to one space - very powerful shower with stable temperature that is easy to adjust - shower area completely watertight so can fully enjoy a nice relaxing shower after a long day and no need to mop the spills afterwards - body gel, shampoo + conditioner all in three separate commercial bottles with dispenser firmly installed onto the wall - big clean panes in room for a nice view overlooking the city and partial harbour - furniture in room is all clean and sofa not sunken, which is one of the advantages of a new hotel - room is not very big but very comfy because everything is very functional while minimalist design gives a contemporary, fuss-free vibe - spacious , bright and clean lobby on 20/F where there is an auto-play piano and there are sofas + reading floor lamps all around the piano, so guests are free to sit and relax with a book or just enjoy the piano when it auto plays at stipulated times - an intimate bar on the other side of the lobby overlooking the pool, but closes before 12am - a gym + pool also on lobby level - a restaurant on lobby floor that serves breakfast - “ Lawsons Convenience Store “ on 2/F, 7-11 and family Mart also close by - Yokohama Cosmo World and Marine Park at walkable distances - Safe, c

■ View bus Luxury Ocean twin Bay View Room The room with a clean can has a large window and a balcony. The view from the room, the balcony is the bay bridge, the Ferris wheel is visible. The bathtub and shower room are separate 々, so you can take a bath time slowly. The night view of the Ferris wheel with the bathroom was also very beautiful. Breakfast is surrounded by palm trees and a buffet style restaurant with a southern atmosphere. There were many items and it was delicious. Subway is just right below the hotel to get you anywhere. There are a few malls nearby, if you're intending to just stay near the hotel. Amenities are conveniently located in the lobby. Starbucks is located in the hotel, if you wish to grab a cuppa in the morning. The staffs are friendly and are more than willing to help. Overall, I wouldn't mind staying for a longer period of time.

This is new property, it has been barely a year after being opened We were impressed contemporary, modern stylish room (love the very comfy bed and automated curtain and blind as you enter at the corner king room ) , Spacious sophisticated club lounge ( all platinum ,titanium and ambassador elite member , this is one of the best lounge I have been to among all properties, not just Japan!) not forgetting great atmosphere and view from highest floor where checking desk is located I have stayed many Marriott properties for years and several properties in Japan by now , among all properties in Japan, this is the absolutely place to be back in Tokyo area Despite the location, not located in middle of Tokyo, still easy access and average 20 to 40min train ride from Tokyo to Yokohama where hotel is located After seeing or staying the property, many will not mind for the train ride. As you might know, it is norm to take train or subway 30 min ride everyday within Tokyo that has been well developed and spread wide range At last, I like to thank you to Ms. Inui who has taken care of checking in and out at club lounge, she is sincere and attentive I have a minor issue on service, but she did communicate well and it did not bother me much after all I believe they will improve service much more in future We had great 3 nights stay at the Brand New Westin in Japan

On June 16, 2024, we had breakfast at the hotel’s first-floor buffet, and we were truly impressed. The service was outstanding, with staff going above and beyond to ensure our experience was perfect. The buffet itself was beautifully arranged, with a wide variety of delicious foods that were both fresh and artfully presented. The ambiance of the dining area was elegant and inviting, adding to the overall enjoyment of our meal. We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to Ms. Hanayo Hisazawa, the supervisor, who did an excellent job managing the staff and overseeing the food service. Her attention to detail and commitment to excellence were evident in every aspect of our breakfast experience. Thank you to the entire team for making our stay so memorable. We highly recommend the Kahala Hotel to anyone seeking a top-tier experience in hospitality.

There is nothing to say about the cleanliness of the rooms or the convenience of the surrounding environment. It is very disappointing that I felt the quality of the employees working there were poorly trained, which is not appropriate for a hotel in this kind of price range. The front desk and baggage desk personnel were so unprofessional that I felt it would be better if they were mechanized.

The hotel is conveniently located near Sakuragichō station. Room is bigger than expected. 👍 We didn't try the spa because they charge extra. Breakfast buffet was great, lots of different Japanese style options and even matcha ice cream 🍨😊

ＪＲ The distance from Sekiuchi Station and Bashado Station on the Tokyu Line is about ５. In the middle of the Bashado. The reception is ２Ｆ, check-in just tells the name and gives you a card key immediately. (Since this time I used Kanagawa Travel Discount, Identity cards are required.) At the same time, it is convenient because they will give you a printed explanation of facilities, bathing and breakfast time. There is a coffee machine in the lobby, which is free to use until ２４, and there is also a microwave oven and women's amenities service. The elevator is ２ base, and I don't have the impression that I have to wait for the large number of guest rooms. (Stairs are also available) Room key is a card type, and indoor power supply is also managed with this. Travelled on a day trip to Yokohama to see a few sights. We went to the Manyo Club after researching they had private onsens on site. Our family of four rented the family room for an hour. We were not disappointed as we had a great time and it was a tick on our bucket list. However, we were rushed for time and could not enjoy the rest of Club Manyo's amenities that were included in the admission fee we paid. Communicating with the club staff was also challenging as we spoke little Japanese and they spoke little English. However, the staff were lovely and welcoming. We were happy for the experience.
