The hotel had a great location close to some of the most famous peaks. We stayed for a night to be able to see the sunset and sunrise and all was arranged in order to allow it in the most comfortable and convenient way, from tours planned to down jackets in the room free for use. We were upgraded during check-in for a better room and used the restaurant for dinner and breakfast. On top of that we also found a voucher for the spa in the room ☺️

Conveniently located and within walking distance to the Huangshan North Train Station and Huangshan Passenger Bus Terminal. Hence, it is a good base to leave the luggages for a (backpacked) trip to Huangshan Mountain (Danxia Peak) and Hongcun Ancient Village (Moon Fen). It is also convenient to take Bus number 21 at the bus stop outside the Railway Station to Tunxi Old Street (about 30mins for CNY2). Good selection and nice buffet breakfast (mainly Chinese crusine).

Fantastic little little hotel with great service If you are looking for a genuine historical and unique hotel experience with super service — then this is the place for you. If you like hyper modern and fancy hotels with glass and concrete, stay away. Yujian No8 has a great location I’m Tunxi (Huangshan old city). Location is rated good because of it depends where you are going. If you want to visit the old city this is perfect. It is a little difficult to find the hotel if you are on your own, but we were met by hotel staff who helped with suitcases and directions. You can not drive in Tunxi old city so there are a few hundred meters to walk. There is a direct bus line from Huangshanbei railway station or you can easily use taxi. The location is very quiet and it feels like you are experiencing a jump in time. The staff is great. They do speak little English, but it’s easy to use translator apps on your phone/ if you have WeChat they also have their own account where it’s easy to communicate. The staff provided very useful information about the area and were very helpful, nice, friendly and professional. The hotel has spacious rooms and lovely public area. This is a very unique traditional hotel, with classic decor and design. The room was very clean with nice amenities. Even if the hotel is displaying historical design, it has modern and nice stuff in the rooms. Our room has bathtub and shower and also a small lounge. Very enjoyable. The overall experience with a super location for exploring the old city made this one of our most memorable stays. We can highly recommend Yujian No 8!

The front desk service of the hotel is very good, the rooms are clean, the facilities are advanced, and there are smart devices. Especially the hotel’s travel housekeeper, Miss Xie, is very professional. We designed a travel route based on our specific situation and found us an equally excellent tour guide in Xiaojiao. It was very convenient to sign up for a group tour at the hotel for the first time, saving a lot of trouble. What is worth praising is that the location of the hotel is really good. It is very convenient. You can just walk across from the transfer station in the scenic area. There is a large parking lot in front of the hotel. Parking is free when you stay in the hotel. Overall, it is very good and a very good stay experience.

I absolutely loved loved loved my trip here! I booked it as a birthday trip for my boyfriend and let me tell you they really went above and beyond to make sure everything was organized and we were happy. I was sent the menu beforehand so I could order dinner ahead of time, they took my cake delivery and got it ready to serve, took my special food order requests, set up a private area for dinner for us... And the room was beautiful. Very cozy and I loved the tub! I took 2 baths. They were totally kind and courteous and quick to answer questions and they were very welcoming to me.

What made our stay here amazing wasn't only the comfortable beds, spacious room and delicious breakfast, but the wonderful manager (I believe her family name is Tan, forgive me if I forgot) and her polite and helpful staff! Firstly, our reservation was at ”SWEETOME Hotel”, but they decided they were no longer allowing foreigners to stay at their hotel (even with covid tests and green health codes). Fine, that's their ignorant decision to make, however, the problem was we were told this on arrival at check in. How unprofessional and thoughtless of them! Thankfully, Trip called around and this hotel seemed to be the only one taking foreigners, we were of course relieved. At this point our expectations were very low and I was thinking of cancelling the trip at leaving the next day, but the warmth and friendliness of the manager and all the staff we met at check-in and afterwards as well as the comfy room made us stay and enjoy Huangshan for 3 days. I'll definitely stay here again and will most definitely recommend to my friends. The location, amenities and cleanliness are also all perfect! Well deserving of 20 stars!! Thankfully that other place turned us away!

The whole house is smart, the room is large, and there is a bathtub. It’s less than 100 meters walk from the entrance of the South Gate Scenic Area. You don’t have to get up early. You can have a leisurely breakfast and walk into the mountain. When you come back from the mountain, you can take a bath. Your legs won’t hurt the next day. The boss was very nice. It rained on the day we arrived and he even drove to Tangkou Station to pick us up. The location of the B&B is very good. Tangkou Bridge is just outside the door. Under the bridge is the commercial street along the river. Basically, all food, clothing, accommodation and transportation are here. We went here on a snowy day. The scenery is also good and worth taking a photo. The night view of the bridge is also good at night. , the store's service attitude is very good, the air conditioner alone can't turn on the heat, but they also gave me a heater, otherwise it would be too cold for me. The store also helps with carpooling, which makes it convenient to go to and from the train station. The price is good, and the large bed room has enough space for personal travel. The floor-to-ceiling windows allow you to lie on the bed and enjoy the scenery outside the window. Finally, let me talk about the problem. The air conditioner is not repaired and there is noise.
