"I left another review before. Gym is nice but hours are limited. They have music or a club playing so try to stay in the middle floors or it can be loud. The room is more than adequately sized. besides check in being a little bit rough and less friendly than I expect the rest of service was fine. Trip.com definitely had the best price. I tried to price match through going through their own site, but they would not price match Trip.com. Take public transport to European site is pretty easy and saves a ton of money"

"From the moment we arrived, I knew this place was special. Amanual welcomed us at the entrance and personally took us to reception such a lovely touch. It’s always the small details that make the difference. Our room was beautiful, high ceilings, elegant design, and an incredible view over the water. I travel quite a bit and have stayed at many five-star hotels around the world, but this one truly stands out. You can tell there’s real attention to detail here. The pool is stunning, probably the best in Istanbul and the breakfast was just as impressive. Everything was fresh and beautifully presented, and the pastries were excellent (whoever the chef is, he’s doing a wonderful job). I’d also highly recommend having dinner or at least drinks at Josephine Restaurant in the evening. The view, the atmosphere, the service everything was perfect. It’s rare to find a hotel that feels both luxurious and personal, but Rixos Tersane manages to do exactly that. A beautiful stay from start to finish."

"The hotel has a fantastic location right on the strait. We were upgraded to a sea-view suite, which was reasonably spacious and had a great view, but the bathroom was small and didn't have a bathtub. The hotel concierge service was especially excellent. Knowing our luggage had been lost by the airline, they gave us a toiletries kit with a set of pajamas, underwear, and toiletries – very thoughtful. The breakfast was decent and quite plentiful, but not to our taste, which was a slight disappointment. We had dinner at the nearby Serra Palace, where the service was excellent."
