The location of this hotel is fantastic if you want to be right in the middle of a lively area with easy access to the Myeongdong Night Market. It is very near to an MRT exit, but bear in mind that this specific exit has no elevator; you will have to use the nearest escalator or staircase, which can be tough with a stroller. Furthermore, because the hotel sits right on a main road, there is no proper pick-up or drop-off area, making arriving and leaving by car quite chaotic. Inside the room, there is no kettle provided to boil water, and the bathroom lacks a separate wet and dry area because the sink tap is connected directly to the shower head, leaving the entire floor wet. We also bumped our heads a few times on the low clearance of the double-decker bed. For laundry, it is not a self-service coin system; instead, a man who said he is the owner handles it for you, takes cash payment directly, and then enters the room to put the clothes back for you. Aside from this laundry drop-off, there was actually no standard room service provided throughout our entire 3 night stay. Beyond the room setup, the overall stay felt quite uncomfortable because it constantly felt like we were being watched, as the man appeared very frequently to check if everything was okay. Considering the high price we paid to stay over the weekend for such a tiny room, it simply wasn't worth it. I would highly recommend choosing a different area where you can get a more decent, proper hotel-level room for your money, especially if you are traveling with small kids.

I'll definitely stay here again next time!!! It's also very convenient downstairs, with CU and GS25, and a 24-hour restaurant 🍴

I had a wonderful experience staying at this hotel. From the convenient location to the excellent service provided by the staff, everything was impressive. The staff were always friendly, helpful, and welcoming with warm smiles, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The room itself was not very spacious, but it was still comfortable enough to open and organize a large suitcase without any problem. My favorite part of the room was definitely the toilet. It had an automatic bidet cleaning system, and the toilet seat was heated with a sensor that kept it warm whenever I sat down — such a comfortable and luxurious touch! I was truly impressed. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and would absolutely love to come back again in the future. I will also recommend this hotel to my friends and anyone looking for a great place to stay.

Check-in was super easy and straightforward. The room was really clean and had everything I needed, including a washing machine. There's even a convenience store downstairs that sells single-use laundry pods. They also provide clear instructions on how to sort trash, which was helpful. I'd definitely recommend staying here for first-timers in Seoul! It's incredibly convenient to get around by bus, and the subway station is just a five-minute walk away. Plus, there's a convenience store right nearby! Highly recommend, I'd stay here again! 🫶🏻

We got a room where we couldn’t sleep properly because of the condensation drops falling onto pipes right outside our window, which was located in like 30cm from our heads laying on thin pillows. Also we didn’t have cold water inside the room, somehow. Only hot and really really warm ones, it was impossible to get a cold water in there. There was only one bath towel for 2 people. We asked the stuff to change our room and they kindly did that. Pillows there were a little bit better, and happily there were no noises at all, although we got only one bath towel for two once again. After the rain, it started to smell horrible because of the sewer drain, which was located near the bathtub developed inside the room (with no doors or anything else). We had left our room after noon for like 2-3 hours, after coming back we found out that no one came for housekeeping services (we supposed that stuff might do that and hence left room clean and tidy without any mess with our luggage). There hadn’t been any tags for DND to use and make it clear that room doesn’t need to be cleaned, so we thought no one’s gonna come today. We left once again approximately at 6pm and got back at 11:30pm. Surprisingly, for some reason someone came and brought 2 clean towels, and they did nothing but that. So I’m not sure whether they wanted to clean the room or not, because we left all our stuff and suitcases opened thinking no one’s gonna come in. Maybe they just wanted to bring the towels, but I simply don’t get it why I don’t have an option to mark my room with DND tag. Location is splendid though 👍🏻

1. The environment is excellent! Other than the room being a bit small and the bed being a bit small, there are no flaws; it's very clean. 2. You can search for ANEUK Hotel on Naver Maps (searching for 'annk' won't work). 3. The lobby on the first floor offers self-service ice, a hot water dispenser, a coffee bar, and disposable tableware, all free of charge! This is fantastic. However, you'll need to bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste. 4. Although it's not super close to the city center, the subway is quite convenient. There's a bus stop about 50 meters away that goes to many places. It's relatively close to Hongdae; just a bus ride across the river. 5. Downstairs, there are tons of shops, the kind locals frequent. Eating grilled beef intestines with beer is incredibly satisfying. Plus, ordering takeout is very convenient.

The location is very convenient, about a 5-minute walk from the subway and bus stations. The room isn't huge but is well-laid out, clean, and the bedding is comfortable. The front desk staff were very friendly and check-in was quick. Overall, it offers great value for money, and I would consider staying here again next time I visit [city].

I had a mixed experience. On the positive side, the dedicated female area requires a secure code to enter, which made me feel very safe as a solo woman.However, the room comfort was quite poor. I was assigned a top bunk bed, and the room was incredibly hot because the air conditioning had been turned off.The bathroom facilities are located outside of the room and consist of a universal toilet. While the shower itself was okay, the towel provided was tiny and looked like it had already been used.While the security for women is great, the hot room and poor linen quality mean I would likely look elsewhere next time.

Read all the way. When we first arrived, we were not prepared for the location. We came on the night trash goes out the next day. There was trash everywhere on the street and we stayed in a back alley hotel that (at night) looked sketchy as heck. When we got into the lobby, Lee greeted us with the biggest smile and warmth and brought my concern level down. When we asked for universal adapters, he gladly gave us a few. When we asked for more blankets, they hand delivered to the room. Every day they gave us free bottled water, and the hotel has 2 different floors with public bathrooms, so families traveling together can always have a place to 💩. The hotel has an attached bar that serves food, we enjoyed this as well. Drinks were cheap and good. The location was less than a 1 minute walk to the bus and train station. The best pizza place in the city is around the corner ”Records Pizza”. A must go too, we stuck to plain and pepperoni pizza, their specials are an acquired taste. The hotel is full of unique touches everywhere and exploring it was fun. You can people watch from the balcony on the 2nd floor and soak in the night life on nights you don't feel like going back out. After that first night arriving, we felt safe and at home. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

The location is the best selling point, located right in front of Seoul Station Exit 10 (there's a short flight of stairs to exit the station). Hotel is equipped with an elevator. Room size is perfect for solo travellers that will be out all day and only need a place to sleep and shower. However, room space might be an issue if you have big luggages (I only had carry on luggage with me). The walls are a bit thin so I can hear the guests from the next room talking and switching off their lights, however I can't really fault it at the price that it is. Will definitely consider rebooking if im solo travelling in Seoul again.
