"The only thing good about this hostel is location. I stayed few days there. I saw housekeeping not really done properly, room not vacuumed, shower cream not replaced, everything on the shared table in the room was dumped, even a plate! Charging point not working in most bed. Kitchen only have one microwave, 3 fridges but don’t put your things in there, because there were thieves who steal food! Check in after 7pm is a messed and chaos few days ago, or everyday I not sure. System down, people queueing not because business was too good. Was told it happened daily."

"Friendly Staff and Great Tips for Visiting Venice We had a very pleasant stay at Hotel Centrale. What really made the experience special was the incredibly friendly and helpful staff. They kindly explained to us the easiest way to visit Venice without driving into the city. Instead of driving and paying expensive parking fees in Venice (which can be at least €25 or more), they suggested taking Bus 7 or 7E, which goes directly to Venice with the last stop near the main area. The journey only takes about 20 minutes, making it very convenient. They also recommended a nearby parking area costing around €12, which saved us quite a bit. The hotel itself is comfortable and practical. The room was a good size with everything we needed, including a nice hot shower after a long day of travel. Breakfast was good, and the hotel seems quite popular. There is also a little shop just next door so you can just buy whatever that you need. The surrounding town is simple, but the hotel’s location is very convenient for visiting Venice. We also appreciated that dogs are allowed, which made traveling with our pet much easier. Overall, the friendly service and helpful local advice made a big difference to our stay."

"The hotel is very close to the train station, within walking distance. However, be careful when exiting the station after getting off the train, as there are two directions. Don't go towards the elevator; instead, take the exit at the back. After a short flight of stairs, go straight until you see a roundabout, and the hotel is right behind it. It's very easy to find. The owner is Chinese and very friendly. The breakfast is also plentiful. The service is excellent, and the hygiene is top-notch."

"In general in accordance and fair to the price level in Venice at this point of the shoulder season. Real mages of the actual room were not available / not matching / not updated on the online offer. Current images are the same in different room categories / price categories (standard room having the same images like triple room etc.) and therefore misleading for the customer. When addressing the issue, one staff member was helpful / understanding, one was absolutely not and tried to blame me as a customer. Room facilities were okay, hot water takes quite some time to arrive in the shower, shower could have been cleaner, view towards the backyard is very messy (which is a pity as the backyard and garden could be beautiful) as currently used as storage space. Bed cover was stored very messy in the wardrobe where customers also supposed to hang their clothes. Luggage storage was available, yet very important values need to go separately into the reception, food was absolutely okay for the price range."

"The location is convenient. The front desk staff was very nice and arranged everything for me. The hotel is always very historical, so the facilities are relatively old, but overall it is clean. It is a good choice."

"It was the most trashy hotel of my life. It was my first time staying in a room that didn't even have basic air conditioning and a refrigerator, and it ruined my vacation mood. It was smelly and dirty."

"The hotel is newly opened this year; the rooms are new and clean, and each has a balcony with plenty of natural light. Drinking water and slippers are provided in the rooms, which is quite unusual in European hotels; most don't offer these. The owner is Chinese and incredibly hospitable. The Sichuan restaurant next door is part of the same business as the hotel, and the food is excellent. I ate there during my stay; it was very affordable, and the owner even gave me a discount. On my last day, my train was at 5 PM, and after dinner, the owner told me to just wait in the restaurant and even gave me a complimentary coffee. It was truly incredibly kind and touching. The hotel's location is superb, just 30 meters from the train station. Staying on the mainland is definitely the best option when traveling to Venice, as the island is not only more expensive but also has older buildings. Furthermore, a Venice pass includes round-trip train tickets between the mainland and the main island. Overall, this hotel is truly excellent, especially for Chinese tourists; it's like being at home!"

"Staying on a higher floor is recommended, as the ground floor seems to be a bar or something similar, and it gets quite noisy. The hotel is very close to the train station, just a short walk away. There are also several good Chinese restaurants nearby. I took a walk around the neighborhood one evening and ended up in a community that seemed to have a lot of Black residents. It's probably best not to wander around there at night."

"Traveling as a family of four, we booked a king room and a double room. When we checked in, we mentioned to the front desk that we'd appreciate it if our two rooms could be close together. They were so thoughtful and gave us two king rooms right next to each other! To our surprise, they were even connecting rooms, which made looking after the kids so much easier. The hotel was very clean, and the location was excellent. Plus, you could even buy transportation tickets there."
