"What a pleasant surprise. Inwas picked up from the airport by someone who offers the service for the hotel, he also dropped me off at the airport again, the next morning. Check-in was quick and hassle free and someone also assisted me with my luggage. The room isnspacious and clean, although a bit dated, but the bednis comfortable, the bathroom big and spacious. A separate lounge and well fitted kitchen, I can see myself settling in easy for extended stays too. And for the price... Unbeatable and a definite thumbs up from me!"

"Next to the hotel is the casino. The location is very close to the airport. There is a free shuttle bus between the international airports, but it is out of service after 11pm. It takes about 5 minutes to get a taxi."

"Everything was Good. Pick up from the airport in a free shuttle every 30 minutes. Very helpful and friendly staff. Room small but neat, Good for just 1 night. For longer I would have choosen a larger room with a fridge. Nice facilities on the premises for eating out and shopping. Interesting exhibition on the history of democracy in SA."

"My stay at the lodge was very pleasant. After many hours of flying, the amenities are sufficient to relax and have a rest before connecting flights or before your next move. Staff at reception were lovely, friendly and helpful. Andrew who is part of staff in charge of pick-up and drop-off, waited quite a while for me the collect baggage and was extremely patient and understanding. I’d highly recommend staying there."

"❌run away ❌ 👍🏽10 minute drive from OR Tambo Airport. Reception and check in was smooth 🙄 No elevator in hotel. I had to carry my 2 x23kg suitcases up a flight of stairs. No porter service or any staff offered to assist me 🙄 Room is small but ok for staying over night for catching an early morning flight. 🙄 Air-conditioning is very noisy I couldn't sleep 🙄Walls are not sound proof.... 🙄Plugs are all situated across on the small table 🙄 When using the kettle the phone could not charge 🙄 No bottled water - at more than RMB400 per night I expected to at least have that 🙄 Hotel operates on an online ordering system, I tried to order room service but when I couldn't ,I sent the contact person a msg via the system - 24hrs later - no response."

"This was my first trip to Africa, and to South Africa. I found this hotel on Ctrip. Its proximity to the airport – being within walking distance and directly accessible from the terminal – was incredibly convenient. The hotel was bustling with a continuous flow of guests, mainly transit passengers. The dining options were extensive, the service was excellent, and the facilities were very well-appointed. Overall, my experience was exceptionally positive. I highly recommend it and would certainly stay here again on my next visit."

"Great hotel which is connected to the airport. The restaurant on the ground level is very good, but it can get busy for dinner (and breakfast), so it is advisable to make a booking. Even for breakfast, you might have to make a booking. The rooms are very comfortable, one of the best around. Good spa on the top floor."

"The hotel is great for a layover as it is super close to the airport. They have a shuttle which was a great help for me. I really enjoyed the breakfast and dinner as I missed SA food. Most of the staff was really helpful (especially Lily from the kitchen) she went above and beyond to help me cause I was with a baby. She made sure I was comfortable, had my food while she was holding my baby. I really appreciate that, thank you 🙏 . I also observed her around other customers she kept the same energy. My room was cleaned daily which was nice. My suggestion is some stuff member must give the same service to everyone regardless of who they are and how they look."
