"Pros: First of all the service I got from the receptionist was really good, she had someone carry my bags to the room and the location of the hotel is close to the airport which is very convenient for traveling after your stay. Cons: The room had a strong smell of paint, it was so bad I couldn't even breathe as all the windows were closed upon my arrival. The pillow cases in the bedroom didn't look clean to me I used my clothes to lay my face on because it was just nasty. The shower is not convenient to use, it's too small and you cannot move the shower head to a desired position. There was no fan or airconditioner in the bedroom, it was really hot. The furniture is outdated, some couches with holes in them it's a mess Overall, I will not sleep here ever again! The money charged is clearly just for being close to the airport because it is too much for that room."

"Stayed here before and main reason was close to airport, in safe complex, access to restaurants etc at Emperors Palace. Rooms clean and decent standard, Breakfast good and staff ready to help. Overall good and would stay again "

"I recently stayed at this hotel which left me disappointed due to their shuttle service limitations. One of the key reasons I chose this hotel was because of its location and a shuttle service to the airport. However, upon checking in, I was informed that the shuttle operated only from 7 am onwards. This was highly inconvenient as my flight departure time was earlier. I approached the receptionist to inquire about alternative options, hoping for some flexibility or assistance, but was met with an unhelpful suggestion to order an Uber instead. Having previously stayed at other hotels near airports, I had come to expect a 24-hour shuttle service as the norm. It was disappointing to find that this particular hotel did not offer the same level of convenience. Given the additional cost associated with using ride-hailing services like Uber, this unforeseen expense was an unwelcome surprise. In conclusion, if you have early morning flights or rely on a reliable 24-hour shuttle service, I would caution against choosing this particular hotel. I would recommend exploring other nearby options that prioritize customer convenience and provide a more accommodating shuttle service."

"My stay at the lodge was very pleasant. After many hours of flying, the amenities are sufficient to relax and have a rest before connecting flights or before your next move. Staff at reception were lovely, friendly and helpful. Andrew who is part of staff in charge of pick-up and drop-off, waited quite a while for me the collect baggage and was extremely patient and understanding. I’d highly recommend staying there."

"❌run away ❌ 👍🏽10 minute drive from OR Tambo Airport. Reception and check in was smooth 🙄 No elevator in hotel. I had to carry my 2 x23kg suitcases up a flight of stairs. No porter service or any staff offered to assist me 🙄 Room is small but ok for staying over night for catching an early morning flight. 🙄 Air-conditioning is very noisy I couldn't sleep 🙄Walls are not sound proof.... 🙄Plugs are all situated across on the small table 🙄 When using the kettle the phone could not charge 🙄 No bottled water - at more than RMB400 per night I expected to at least have that 🙄 Hotel operates on an online ordering system, I tried to order room service but when I couldn't ,I sent the contact person a msg via the system - 24hrs later - no response."
