Hotels Near Padisah Restaurant in Istanbul

Overall, the hotel is very good, especially the location is very convenient, close to the spice market, the beach, the bus station, and there are many food nearby. Our room is on the second floor, and we can see a good view of the street market, but the glass is very soundproof and not noisy at all. The area that needs improvement is that the room was not cleaned one day. We asked for cleaning at 7 pm, but the waiter opened the door without knocking and came in (another time we were in the room and asked for a pair of slippers, and then I took the child to take a bath, and my husband took a light nap on the bed. Later, I found that the slippers were already on the table in the room at some point. The waiter didn't seem to knock on the door, so we must lock the door). We asked him to come back after 7 o'clock, but he went out and came back after 9 o'clock and it was not cleaned yet.

One of the staff members was unfriendly and unhelpful. On our first day, we had to wait about 10 minutes at the check-in desk, even though three employees were present. The person who eventually assisted us didn’t even greet us—I said hello, and he simply asked for our passports. Later, this same staff member refused to call a taxi for us. Fortunately, another staff member was kind enough to help and called a taxi. If you’re traveling with elderly people who can’t walk far and need a taxi directly in front of the hotel, I’d recommend avoiding this place. The streets are very narrow and often crowded, so taxis are reluctant to come. It’s especially frustrating when the hotel staff doesn’t assist with calling one.

Before I left, I saw someone comment that the room had bed bugs, and I was thinking about changing hotels temporarily, but I didn't do so in the end - it turned out to be correct, because I didn't encounter any unpleasant insects in the room. In addition, Ctrip's booking tips said ”the hotel has no front desk service” and ”need to contact in advance to check in”. Ctrip and I tried to contact the hotel many times in succession to no avail, but fortunately, the hotel actually has a front desk service, and it doesn't seem to need to contact in advance (after all, we couldn't contact it all the time). The hotel is next to the Hagia Sophia, and the room faces the Bosphorus, where seagulls fly, which is very pleasant. When checking in, a handsome waiter helped with the luggage at the hotel, and I was very grateful to him (when he was carrying the luggage, I was still worried that I didn't have cash to pay the tip, but fortunately he didn't ask for a tip in the end, but he was very friendly and explained the precautions). Because the hotel needed to clean the room, I didn't get the opportunity to check in early, but I could store my luggage and sit down and rest in the terrace restaurant. Overall, it was very good, but the only drawback was that the curtains in the room were a little light-transmitting, and it was a little difficult to pull the curtains. In addition, when locking/unlocking the patio door, you need to lift the door handle upwards and turn the key at the same time.

Very small hotel . Breakfast very simple . Not much variety . Location is very good. Walking distance to most places. Beware of the front day duty desk person who tried to scam us to take the hotel airport transport at 60 euros v Yellow taxi only cost 450 Turkish lires ( fixed price ) The hotel guy tried to give us the impression not safe to take yellow taxi to airport.

I love this place…it’s super clean, the staff is great and they serve a nice breakfast in the morning. It’s also surrounded by great restaurants. I do want to mention that no one is allowed in your room in this area and I wish I would’ve known that as I have friends in Istanbul and had to pay extra fees in order for them to visit me. Outside of that it was great.

I recently stayed at this stunning, elegant, and beautiful hotel for six nights and had an amazing experience. The facilities are top-notch and perfect, ensuring a comfortable and luxurious stay. The location is fantastic, conveniently close to tourist attractions and the vibrant Karakoy area in Istanbul. It's within walking distance to almost everywhere, making it ideal for exploring the city. The atmosphere is perfect for both first-time and frequent guests, creating a welcoming and enjoyable environment. The staff are all warm and friendly, providing excellent service throughout my stay. A special mention goes to Dila Yilmaz, the Guest Relations Officer, who recommended fantastic places to eat and visit, enhancing our overall experience. I also want to thank the reception/front desk staff who took great care of us throughout our stay. I will definitely come back here in the future. Highly recommended!

Stylish hotel and room, very interesting design of the room, you want to look at the details. But the room in fact has no window, as it faces the wall, and is tinted, there is no daylight. An interesting solution for a shower/toilet in a standard room is a glass cube, not transparent, but the audibility is maximum)). Automatic lighting is thoughtfully thought out so as not to bump into it when you get up at night. We did not take breakfast. There is an elevator. Water, tea, kettle in the room, convenient. Quiet place Near Istiklal.

The hotel was very nice. The breakfast is very good. The location is great. Walking distance to everything! Starbucks just there too. Everyone is kind and polite. Our room was lovely but toooooo small. Felt like I m on a cruise ship with that size 😅. They upgraded us to Bosporus view. Thank you we r grateful. I would have stayed longer if the room was bigger. We did asked to get bigger room but the price to upgrade was too much. So we moved to another hotel with bigger room. Free access to the spa. Steam bath, sauna, and the hammam but Idon’t know how to use it. There was no soap or scrub to use. Maybe people go there with their own shower stuff? Picture of our view 😊

Everything about rixos tersane hotel is just exceptional. The staff is so polite helpful and welcoming. They made our stay exceptional staying at the hotel was just like a dream. We love how they arranged work shop for the kids for the whole day. i really can not describe how much we loved every minute of our stay in the hotel and how we loved the everyone in the staff espically Mr.Volkan who was really helpful with our stay if we decide to stay again in the hotel it is beacuse of Mr.Volkan, he’s so welcoming thoughtful and kind person thank you very much for your service. And thank you to the lovely amazing wonderful Ms. Kayan and Ms. Shayma thank you for being so kind and wonderful with our baby and the recommendation for kids activities. The property is beautiful and the service was impeccable. Appreciated their focus on safety and comfort. restaurants were terrific and offered different experiences. Spa facilities are exceptional with great service. Definitely recommend the hotel 2000%
