"the location was absolutely perfect - most of the sights are within a 5 minute walking distance, while the hotel itself is located on a clean, quiet street with gorgeous buildings. no big crowds!
the walk to the Bosphorous also takes no more than 5 minutes. you can find anything there, even the souvenir store across the street had a great assortment and prices.
breakfast was simple but good. the room was clean and comfortable. all the staff were very nice and welcoming. will definitely return in the future❤️ grateful to everyone"

"I had a very pleasant stay at Four Sides Lion Hotel Taksim. The location is excellent, just a short walk from Taksim Square, metro stations, restaurants, and shops, which made it very convenient for exploring Istanbul. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with any request.
The room was clean, cozy, and comfortable. I especially liked the bed and pillows, which helped me sleep very well after long day. The hotel offers good value for money, and overall I enjoyed my stay very much. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Istanbul."

Guest UserPerfect location for everything we walked everywhere as the main attractions and bazaars were within 5 mins walking. Left was Hagia Sofia. Palace etc, right were bazaars...straight down was the sea. The hotel was lovely, and breakfast had everything I liked and more. The view from the top was amazing; you could see all across Istanbul.
Our room was very clean, and we even had soothing music in the bathroom, which was a really nice touch.
I gave 4 stars for amenities because although the hotel has a spa, I was really hoping for a hammam experience and unfortunately it was mixed. If they offered an hour or even part of the day for ladies only, this hotel would be an absolute winner.
One small downside was that our taxi couldn’t drop us off or pick us up directly outside the hotel, so we had to walk about 3 minutes.
That said, the area felt very safe we walked out at 10pm as two women and felt completely comfortable. There’s even a police station right opposite the hotel!
Overall, a great stay and I’d definitely recommend it.

The hotel's location is a bit far from the Old Town, and the room was on the small side. However, it was very clean and provided disposable slippers. They offer free parking and the breakfast is purely Western, with limited variety but enough to fill you up. The price isn't particularly cheap.

Guest UserWe stayed for one night, but even for such a short stay, it was fantastic. The receptionist was amazing; despite our early arrival at 8 AM, they did everything possible to expedite our check-in, and by 9:30 AM, our rooms were ready. I'm very particular about cleanliness and was pleasantly surprised. The rooms were quite clean, cozy, and, importantly, spacious, with clean bathrooms. Everything we needed was in the room. I must also mention the wonderful breakfast 🍳; we were with four teenage children, and everyone found something delicious to eat. Everything was very aesthetically pleasing and neat! I confidently give it a 5 out of 5. The location is great, close to the port, Galata Tower… Thank you for a wonderful day!

Located about 20 kilometers from the airport, the room had windows on three sides with unobstructed sea views. The service was excellent; they even called in Chinese in the morning to remind us to have breakfast. The Turkish people are very hospitable.

This hotel was truly in a fantastic location. My wife and I had a quick holiday getaway, and the staff's attitude was wonderful. It's within walking distance to the ferry terminal and the high-speed train station. I would genuinely recommend it to everyone I know, and it's definitely my top choice for all my future Istanbul trips.

Svetlana, 34The hotel's location is superb – you won't find a better spot to explore Istanbul! A huge special thanks to Ash and the entire reception team for their incredible hospitality. We were checked in late at night without any issues (even in the morning), and on checkout, they went the extra mile and allowed us to get some much-needed sleep before our journey. Such care transformed an excellent vacation into a perfect one. We will definitely be back!

We chose a hotel to spend the night between flights. The toilet lid was broken. Cleanliness is 3 out of 5. Instead of a blanket there was a large waffle towel))) it was fine for me, but my husband was not comfortable. Not a bad option for the money. The reception staff is friendly and helpful. Opposite the hotel there is a good snack bar with Turkish shawarma or whatever they call it

I met the kindest and nicest host while staying in Istanbul.
They even upgraded my room and made my check-in time 2 hours earlier, and they welcomed me warmly.
This was the first time I felt kindness among the Turkish people I met for 4 days.
The room was also nice. The water pressure was strong! The room was really spacious.

The room was nice, but there's a mosque nearby, so it got a bit noisy in the mornings. The breakfast was really bad, but the hygiene and environment were decent. The main issue was that many of the staff didn't speak English, which made communication difficult.
