"After checking out and heading to the airport for a late-night flight, I realized upon arriving at the airport that I had accidentally left my passport inside the safety deposit box in my room at Hotel Éclat Taipei. I immediately called the hotel and the staff responded right away by checking the safe and confirmed that my passport had been found. The team was incredibly responsive and worked hard to arrange a way to get the passport to me before my flight. While they were trying to coordinate the delivery, the hotel's General Manager, Ms. Amy Yu, personally stepped in to help. She even came to the airport herself and, despite the urgency of the situation, when I asked how I should pay her back in return, she calmly reassured me not to worry about that at the moment and instead asked me to focus on getting through immigration and making my flight on time. I was deeply touched by her kindness, professionalism, and genuine care. She showed a level of empathy and dedication that is increasingly rare in today's hospitality industry. The staff and management did not have to go to such lengths to help me, but they did, and thanks to them I was able to retrieve my passport and continue my journey without disaster. Beyond this unforgettable experience, the hotel itself is fantastic. The property has a unique artistic character, beautifully combining art, design, and luxury. It has a warm, creative atmosphere that makes it stand out from many other high-end hotels. Most importantly, it has something that cannot be easily taught or bought. The human touch, attentiveness, and genuine hospitality of the people here made all the difference. Having stayed at several hotels in Taiwan, I can honestly say that Hotel Éclat Taipei stands out for its responsiveness and sincere care for its guests. My heartfelt thanks to Amy Yu and the entire team. I would not hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Taipei."

"Check-in time is 6 PM, so don't arrive early. Go grab dinner first, then head back to check in. After entering the room, I noticed the air quality wasn't great. There's an emergency exit door in the room that you have to lock yourself. It has a jetted tub and a steam room, which was nice. The bed was just right, and the room was spacious and quiet. The breakfast, however, was quite disappointing and definitely has a lot of room for improvement."

"This hotel was a pleasant surprise! The entrance is a bit unassuming, but once inside, it has a very retro feel. The front desk is quite small, and there's nowhere to sit. You also need to bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste. The location is excellent, right next to the subway, and there's a 7/11 less than 5 minutes away. There's even a Din Tai Fung nearby. The most amazing part is the transparent elevator – you can see murals going up and down! What a great value!"

"I had a business meeting in Taipei tonight, and my client booked me a room at the WeGo Boutique Hotel near Miramar Dazhi. This hotel features themed rooms – romantic and beautiful, with various styles like Chinese, American, French, and English decor. They are cozy and atmospheric. Rooms are typically rented by the hour, except for overnight guests checking in from 10 PM until noon the next day. A thoughtful touch is having breakfast sets delivered right to your room door. The beds are all extra-large, with just the right firmness, making for a great night's sleep. The staff are friendly and enthusiastic. It was a really good experience, definitely worth recommending to everyone."

"Pro: -well located. right smack in XMD -many eateries. yong he soy milk store is just round the corner of the hotel. opp the hotel has a nice beef noodles(abit oily though) -laundry service on site (coin) ~ 2 washer and 1 dryer - staff are friendly - common lounge area with coffee machine n biscuits Con: - level 2 rm (for 4 pax) smelled damp and stale including the corridor. the other room (2pax) at level 5 seems newer with cleaner toilet. - cleanliness can be improved"
