노천 온천이 있어서 목욕하기가 아주 좋았습니다. 근처에 식당이 다 문을 닫아서 저녁식사와 아침식사를 했는데 생각보다 너무 잘 나왔습니다. 시설은 낡기는 했습니다.

ツアーで和室宿泊。 和室は全くくつろげない。椅子はあっても縁側的なところにあるためテレビが見ずらいし。しかもテレビがチョーちっちゃい。 部屋の入り口ドアも不安なほどのセキュリティの甘さ。 ふすまも外れてしまう。 布団は四枚重ねても老体には体が痛く眠れない。 トイレに座って冷たさにびっくり。 申し訳程度の洗面台があるものの、お湯はなかなか出てこない、ツアーのメンバーに言われて気が付けば出てくるお湯は茶色がかっていて…。 部屋にはお風呂もシャワーもないので仕方なく大浴場に行ったが、シャワーもカランもすぐ止まる仕組み。 驚きの体験ばかりの一泊だった。

タウシュベツ橋梁に行くために宿泊。行った日の朝はマイナス３度であった。 建物自体が非常に年季が入っている。畳の部屋だったが、黒い衣類を置くと畳の細かい切れ端がくっつく。埃ではないと思うが。アレルギーがある人は息ができないとこぼしていた。 水道水も黄色くて「飲めます」と書いてはあるものの、とても飲む気にはなれない。もちろん、トイレも温座ではないので、座るたびに勇気がいる。 ただ、スタッフの皆さんはとても親切だったし、食事と温泉は良かった。

翌日のタウシュベツ川橋梁ツアーに向けて1泊させていただきました。 〇〇観光ホテルというのは比較的古いところが多い印象ですが、こちらも特に宿泊棟の廊下などにはそういう雰囲気が感じられました。ただ泊まった部屋は綺麗な状態でした。 お風呂は男女別の露天風呂付き大浴場と混浴露天風呂（一部時間帯は女性専用）があります。豊富な湯量の源泉かけ流しで、それでいて露天風呂でぬるすぎて…という温度でもなく、しっかり温まることができました。食事は宴会場に机を置いて部屋ごとに分けるなど感染対策にも気を遣った対応。ちゃんちゃん焼きや山菜など土地柄を感じさせるものも多く、美味しくいただきました。 ひとつだけ…土地柄仕方ないのはわかっているのですが、wifiがロビー周辺しか入らず4Gならなんとか入る、という環境は、北海道の市街地ではないところである以上やむを得ないところではありますが、せめて部屋でwifiが使えるとよかったかなという気はします。特に今回、あいにくの天候でその後のスケジュールの調整が必要になっただけに、部屋からロビーへ出てあれこれ調べるということが必要になりました。

建物は少々古びているけれど、お湯が素晴らしく、スタッフの方々も感じが良いです。大浴場は改装されていてきれいで広々していて、日替わりで男女入れ替えです。混浴の露天もあり、こちらは女性専用の時間があります。 ツインの部屋に泊まりましたが、昭和の時代の洋室という風で、これはこれで趣がありました。 食事会場の大広間は昔ながらの宴会部屋で、懐かしい感じがします。食事は朝夕ともにおいしかったです。

8月下旬に訪問。帯広市街の温泉はモール泉で、バスで行ける泉質の違う温泉地ということで選びました。旧いけどお湯は良いとの口コミにたがわず、確かに建物は年季が入った代物、そして温泉は内湯も露天もたいへん贅沢に湯をかけ流しにしている温泉でした。客室に冷房がないのは時期によっては厳しいでしょうし、ベッドマットレスの硬さも自分好みではあったけど、最近のシティホテルやビジネスホテルとは根本的に違うものと思っていいと思います。食事は値段なりにＨＰに出てくる写真そのままと思っていただければ。朝食も北海道のホテルというより秘湯宿の朝食ととらえましょう。経営にすごく努力されているのが随所に感じられますが、温泉なのに冷たい水をのむ場所がなかったり（自販機はありますが）、缶ビールが結構いいお値段だったりというのはちょっとマイナス点。スキー場に合わせてのホテルの規模なのかもしれませんが、本当はダウンサイジングしたいのかもしれません。次回糠平に来ることがあったら他所で泊まってお風呂だけこちらにくるかもしれないですね。

糠平温泉で常宿としている処を、２泊のところを『訳あって』１泊に切り上げ、その替わりに急遽、宿泊したもの。露天風呂、混浴と男女別とも野趣溢れるもので、すばらしかった。内風呂も、展望が非常に良かった。糠平温泉では、トップだろう。
