Agora Pansiyon

Bundan 1 ay önce de kaldığım Agora Pansiyonun banyosunda duştan çıkarken, mermerler çok kaygan olduğu için kayıp arkaya doğru kafatasımın üzerine düştüm. Nisan 26 da, 7 arkadaşımla beraber düzenlediğim Yoga Aktivitesini samimiyetlerine ve önlem alacaklarına güvendiğim burada yapmaya karar verdim. Seyahat öncesinde arayıp banyo için bir önlem alınmasını rica ettim. ( çok uygun fiyatlı su kaydırmaz paspaslar). Otele girer girmez fark ettim ki hiç bir odaya böyle bir paspas konmamış, merkezden uzak bir yer olduğu için de temin e**em mümkün olmadı. Burada yaşadığım bu büyük kaza sonrasında kaygı ve stres tedavisi görmeye başladım... Bunun dışında misafirlerime görevli Mithat Seçin tarafından çok kaba davranıldı, ne bir Günaydın ne de bir Hoşça kal bile denmedi. Tavsiye üzerine gelen 3 kişilik odam kovulmacasına otelden gönderildi. Daha önce tanıştığımız bir işle**e olarak tercih ettiğim otelden Mithat Serçin tarafından rehberlik hizmeti de satın aldım ama tur boyunca misafirlerimi azarladı ve tersledi. Turumuza katılan tek bir kadın misafirime özel bir ilgi gösterip, Bafa Gölü için satın aldığım tura gi**ek için otelden ayrılırken, ben ve 6 kişiyi otelde bırakıp sadece iki kişi olarak motor ile ulaşım sağladılar, bizim arabamız olmasına rağmen bilgi vermediği için 2 genç kızımızla yürümek zorunda kaldık. Misafirlerimden bir bunu söylediğinde de tekrardan aksi ve ters bir cevap verdi. 2 gece kaldığımız Agora Pansiyon. La**os Trevel ve Mithat Seçin in rehberlik alarak hem itibar kaybı hem de para verip kovulmuş olduk.

I wish we'd stayed longer here. This Pansiyon is lovingly family run. Mithat was so helpful and gave us advice on hiking and hiring a boat out on the lake to see the fantastic birds and where to walk in the village - pretty well anywhere to see impressive ruins. The food was fantastic and all local and cooked by mum. The rooms were fine with Aircon and decent bathrooms. I found the bed comfy. It's very rural and the Pansiyon is quite rustic but very attractive. Cockerels and an occasional donkey disturbed the peace.

Friendly family hotel with lovely food. The accommodation is fairly basic but clean and the owners could not have been more helpful in telling us about the village, the walks around it and what to see, and arranging a boat trip on the lake for us.

It was a great place. Family business, beautiful boarding house. Friendly and welcoming a**osphere. Nice bright room, we got a better room, the owner of Mithat was very kind, for which we thank him very much. A delicious homemade dinner with good wine. The place is very quiet, in the heart of the village. A beautiful lake and we lived right next to the ancient ruins. The ancient history of this place makes it exceptional. Thank you again very much. We had a lot of pleasure

The town of Kapikiri where the Agora Pansiyon is located is a Roman city where people live among the ruins on a Lake that is on the migratory bird routes. It is easy to walk in the town and everyone was very friendly. Agora Pansyion has protected parking, an outdoor seating area for warmer weather and an area inside for cooler weather. The owner, Mithat Sercin, provides a full range of additional services to include guided walking tours of the area. He is also an excellent photographer. There are no restaurants in the town except those attached to other places to stay but the food prepared by the owner's mother checks all the boxes for delicious, healthy eating. If you are looking for small town restfulness, authentic village home cooking combined with the ability to walking in history, Agora Pansyion is the place to spend some time.

Happy to pass by Kapıkırı with its ancient city Herakleia and stayed in late winter time. The pension was very quiet yet the owner was very friendly while he offered me with home made delicious local food for dinner. The pension also has some book collections especially about history and archaeology. Don't skip the local home made breakfast ... nothing like village breakfast prepared in the kitchen. Herakleia's bouleuterion is just in front Agora Pansiyon!

A very nice breakfast Apart from a small kosk are with cushions - there is hardly anywhere to sit comfortably in the communal areas. A few settees or floor cushions should make it better

This place is good for a stopover. It isn’t on the lake so no nice views and there isn’t too much to do in the village. The room was okay although we were unable to lock our room as the previous guest had taken the key. We were given a few spare keys to try after we arrived, but that isn’t really for guests to do! The village may well be “safe” but guests don’t know anyone from Adam. Surprised there wasn’t a spare and/or housekeeping key! The Agora isn’t cheap for what you get and having traveled extensively in Turkey and Eastern Europe for months at a time, you get no more or less than other locations. Beer was 60 lira a bottle, this is more than some places in Bodrum, expensive for a rural location. The food was okay but expensive and nothing that got us excited. Also there is no price list or menu, the menu is basically what is available on any given day. We would have given a higher review had it not been for the prices and not being able to lock our room at night!
