"The hotel is more like a bed and breakfast, but there’s nothing wrong with that as long as it’s advertised as such. A warning for less able clients - all the rooms are on the 1st / 2nd / 3rd floor and there isn’t a lift. If you can’t use stairs or lift a suitcase, here isn’t for you.
The en-suite in our room wasn’t the cleanest. When we arrived, the bin hadn’t been replaced. There was also a really strong smell of urine every time we entered the room - even after housekeeping had been. The drain for the shower was very slow, so every time we showered, the tray filled with water.
All that said, the service was lovely. The staff were helpful - especially the staff member who works the breakfast service. There was also another staff member on our last day who gave us travel information because there were no trains from Kew that day."
"The location is excellent but the flat we had needs some refurbishing. Bathroom doors couldn’t be closed properly, cupboard doors were loose, the microwave handle was also broken. The most importantly it was really tiny compared to the impression we’ve got from the photos posted on the internet."
"Wonderful, charming hotel with a fantastic location!”
This is a fantastic hotel! The location is incredibly convenient, right near Kew Gardens, making it easy to visit both the gardens and nearby Richmond.
The staff were exceptionally friendly, especially a young woman from Poland at the front desk. She was so warm, enthusiastic, and genuinely helpful—she really made our my special.
The room itself was very cozy and welcoming, giving you the feeling of a traditional English home or bedroom. The hotel is very quiet, and the surrounding street felt safe and peaceful.
I would highly recommend this hotel!"
Opened in 2024, the Travelodge London Kew Bridge Hotel offers travelers a pleasant stay in Brentford, whether for business or leisure purposes. The hotel is conveniently located just 800m from Kew Bridge and 16km from Heathrow Airport. In addition, Gunnersbury Metro Station is just a short walk away. There's plenty to do nearby, with Watermans Park, Palm House and Treetop Walkway all within a short distance. When guests have some time on their hands they can make use of the onsite facilities.
"The location of the hotel is not far from the kew bridge. The road is under construction at the door. The house is built on the left side of the hotel. There are restaurants to eat, etc., and there is gairl coffee, which is quite convenient. The hotel itself has a consistent style, breakfast is still more, the room is large, the overall business trip is more suitable, that is, the summer holiday is not beautiful."
"The hotel is quite good in this area of the UK, the environment is clean and tidy, and it is very close to where I am having a meeting. The hotel breakfast is very rich, but the disadvantage is that it does not change every day."
"During my recent stay at The Novotel on the outskirts of London, I was thoroughly impressed by the experience. The hotel excelled in several areas, making it a delightful getaway.
Cleanliness:
The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable. From the lobby to the rooms, every corner gleamed with attention to detail. The housekeeping staff did an outstanding job in maintaining the high standards of hygiene, ensuring that everything was spotless and fresh. It was evident that cleanliness was a priority for the hotel, which is always a reassuring factor for an
Service:
Service at The Novotel was exemplary. The staff were warm, welcoming, and went above and beyond to accommodate any requests. From the moment of check-in, where we were greeted with a friendly smile and efficient service, to the personalised care throughout our stay, the staff’s dedication to guest satisfaction was evident. Their promptness and willingness to assist with any queries or needs added greatly to the overall experience.
Location:
Situated on the serene outskirts of London, the hotel offers a peaceful escape from the bustling city. The location is ideal for those looking to unwind while still having easy access to the city’s attractions. The surrounding area is lush and tranquil, providing a perfect backdrop for relaxation. Despite being a bit removed from the city centre, transportation options were convenient, making it easy to explore London when desired.
Overall Experience:
Our stay at Novotel was nothing short of wonderful. With its pristine cleanliness, outstanding service, and ideal location, it provided a perfect blend of comfort and serenity. Whether you’re looking for a peaceful retreat or a base to explore London, this hotel is an excellent choice. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area."
"20min walk to the tube, bus-stop outside. Good cafe across the road. Local supermarket next door. Well furnished and new style kitchen and room and bathroom. Balcony. Heated towel rack. Small gym, Laundry and dryer self-disposable detergent, however requires coins to operate. Overall restful stay"
"Because of the positive reviews, I chose to stay at this place. The location is a 20-minute walk from the subway station, which is not too bad. The hotel is also not far from the airport and the subway line is rather convenient. However, I had to wait for 20 minutes when checking in, and parking required an additional fee. The price was not particularly cheap either. There weren't many amenities nearby. This place might be suitable for business trips, but overall, it's just an average chain hotel."
