"It is Perfect hotel for traveller who are on road bewteen Reykjavik & Vik, even if going to Skatafell.
It is located on calm and peaceful position and gave me very comfortable mood who are tired.
More amazing is,
their good restrarurant.!!!!!
In the morning, serve free breakfast. It is already good.
But in the evening, you can enjoy fastastic buffet with acceptable price.
And they gave me very kind service with real smile.
There are small road to reach lake by 5~10 min walking.
When I walked, a lovely dog from hotel follows me and to try excising with him.
It also one of very happy expereince.
Lake sightseeing is also very good.
If someone asks me to stay again,
”Sure. Absolutely.” "
"My friend and I stayed in the Bungalow after a long trip from Reykjavik through the south coast of Iceland. It was the perfect stopping place on our trip to continue our journey on the Ring Road. The bungalow was perfect for what we needed. Two twin beds, shower, towels. There isn’t WiFi out at the Bungalows but the main hotel area does. Breakfast was awesome. Staff was all great. Also loved the lake walk in the back of the property."
"Very close to the Feather Valley, right at the door. If you use the Feather Valley as the last attraction of the day, you don't have to go a long way to stay. The room is a single-family holiday cabin, there is no kitchen, so it is a bit difficult to solve dinner, unless you eat in the hotel restaurant, but the price is not expensive, the bathroom is relatively small. The environment is still very good, just in the valley, next to a stream. In the morning, I feel like I am in the quiet valley, with birds and flowers, sitting on the terrace of the wooden house, basking in the sun, very comfortable and enjoyable."

"Between Vic and Skaftafellsstofa, you have to climb the glacier, you can live here, the surrounding environment is beautiful, the cabin is great, there are tableware to cook, it is worth staying!"
"The room was small but adequate. The bathroom too small, with a tiny sink. There was no bath soap or shampoo. The shower curtain was mildewed at the bottom. There was a teapot shared by the four units in our building, but no coffee, just sugar. The restaurant was great for dinner, but the included breakfast was poor. We were given a tray with preselected items. The croissant and coffee were excellent. I passed on the oatmeal and oat bread, which left a light continental breakfast. Poor value compared to the other guesthouses we encountered in Iceland."
"Full marks for Ctrip’s service and full marks for Magama Hotel’s scenery, but you can’t add an extra bed to your child, nor can you pay extra. The hotel uses solar hot water for bathing, and the floor heating and hot water in each room rely on a separate hot water machine, so After the big one and the little one finished taking a bath, I could only take a cold shower. Why is this important factor not written in the hotel introduction? Hot water for bathing is in limited supply!"
"Breakfast is very good, there are bread juice milk coffee, etc., the room is also very good, well-equipped, the hotel is 2 minutes drive to see the aurora, you can also see the stars in the sky"
"The aurora was seen on the hillside behind, and the meteors were great. Breakfast was simple bread, eggs, bacon🥓, and fruit. You need to prepare your own toiletries. There is a restaurant 7 minutes drive away for dinner, and the food is good."
