"Stay there for 3 nights. It’s a great option to stay in Naha, Okinawa. First, is the location, it’s only 3 minutes walk from Asahibashi station, 5 minutes walk to Bus terminal, and 20 minutes by train(metro) from airport. The second is the place itself. The room was exactly the same as advertise. It was clean, pretty fresh. The room had a microwave, a kettle, a fridge, and a washer/drier unit (plus laundry detergent). More like a mini studio, then a hotel room. Also, there is no everyday cleaning (maybe for additional fee). Only one of the staff spoke English, but they all try to do their best to communicate. Majority of information already translated to English. But for some items, for example, ac unit, washer/ driver, I used Google Translater (wasn’t convenient, but possible). The internet was good too, even stream Netflix without problem."

"First time at this hotel and stayed for 3 nights! The hotel is strategically located, 10-15 mins walk to the popular Kokusai Dori street, right above Mega Don Quijote that holds a wide variety of products and is open till 3am daily, a ＜5min walk to Tsubogawa station and a ＜15min ride to Naha airport. The hotel also provides free access to coffee and alcohol at selected timings, and the room comes with a microwave, a washer/dryer and sufficient space for luggages."

"We booked for a group of 8 women. The location was great, it was affordable, and spacious, which was fantastic! However, be aware that the circuit breaker trips very easily. We missed out on breakfast because you have to book it by 8 PM the day before, and we forgot two days in a row, which was a shame. The hotel staff who came to help when we had an issue were also very kind. You can borrow anything you need, so you can literally show up empty-handed. This is definitely the place to stay for large groups! Thank you very much. The view from the room was also superb!"

Super convenient and central! 🍽️ Vibrant Evenings As the nearby streets settle into a peaceful hush and most restaurants wind down with only a handful of diners, the lobby restaurants at Southwest Grand Hotel remain buzzing with energy. The lively atmosphere, filled with cheerful faces and clinking glasses, speaks volumes about the quality and charm of the hotel’s dining experience. 💭 Still Dreaming About It Overall, our experience at Southwest Grand Hotel was truly delightful. Even now—almost a month later—I can still recall every moment with vivid clarity. If it weren’t for the limited parking, I’d confidently call it Michelin-worthy! This hotel is an absolute hidden gem, and without a doubt, I’ll be staying here again on our next visit to Okinawa!"

"I stayed here on the first night. I looked at Google Maps and found a different location, but I ended up taking a taxi back to Kokusai Street. Phew! There's someone who speaks Korean, so communication isn't difficult. Everyone there is friendly. The room was nice. The refrigerator was a good size, there's a washing machine, a fully equipped kitchen, and the dryer is right in front of the elevator (100 yen for 15 minutes). Kokusai Street Pojangmacha is a 2-minute walk away. In short, it's centrally located."

"Perfect for solo travelers! There's a 7-Eleven downstairs, and a Uniqlo and Muji supermarket across the street! The room is very spacious for Japanese standards! Luggage can be easily unpacked. There's also a refrigerator, microwave, and washing machine!"

"The comfort level in the room is okay, there are no services, the privacy is very good, and there are no equipment... there is a microwave and an electric stove but no basic dishes, which feels impractical. Also, since we are staying for five nights, should we give guests free parking? An additional day charge of ¥1,000 is much more expensive than the parking lot outside~~"

"The room was clean and tidy, and the location was convenient for transportation and 24-hour shopping. However, the 3rd-floor SPA massage area was a bit messy, with service towels being dried directly in the hallway 😂. This detracts from the hotel's image."

"1. Excellent location, just a 3-minute walk from Tsubogawa Monorail Station. 2. Front desk service hours are very short. If you need anything, you must ask for it or purchase it upon check-in on the first day, such as bath towels, hand towels, pots and pans, etc. 3. Convenience stores, restaurants, izakayas (Japanese pubs), and Don Quijote (with currency exchange machines) are nearby. 4. There is a parking lot, but it seems to be fully booked, with very few spaces… However, there are nearby parking lots, but remember to look for 24-hour metered parking, which is cheaper!"
