I felt at home. I lenjoyed the squeaky clean rooms, linen and lounge. Very comfortable. Most wonderful hosts. Breakfast was delicious. Bicycles available. The view is heaven. Definitely highly recommend.

The Knysna Belle Guest House is nicely located on Leisure Isle, giving a safe holiday feeling. Besides the wonderful and friendly hosts you can enjoy using the bikes and the kayaks. The Lagune is pretty safe and you will be surprised how shallow it is, so do not worry to go swimming or just walk through the shallow water. there is a little Bistro on Leisure Island serving excellent Sushi ! We were lazy, just did not want to go as far as Knysna Central but ....my God, the Sushi was GREAT !!! FANTASTIC !!! You must try the Crispy one !!!

My wife and I booked an impromptu trip and my oh my was it well worth it. We both work in France in the hospitality industry and the Knysna belle made it really feel like I was on holiday. Check in was seamless and the breakfasts were a fantastic way to send off your guests for the day. Fantastic staff trea**ent from start to finish. The location on leisure isle makes you feel like you’re in a movie and the house is one of dreams. Both are out of this world! Thank you Michelle and team, we will definitely be back with family and friends and will most definitely recommend you to clients abroad.

No location could be more arresting for its sheer beauty. Leisure Isle in the Knysna lagoon is a particularly relaxing spot to be especially when spoiled by Michelle and her staff at the family owned and managed Knysna Belle..

What a great find! We enjoyed our stay at The Knysna Belle Guest House and were sorry we couldn’t stay longer. Our room was delightful, spacious and well presented. Michelle our hostess was charming and helpful with her knowledge of the area. The breakfast was served on the verandah overlooking the pool and garden. The breakfast was delicious and beautifully presented.

From the moment we arrived until we left the Knysna Belle exceeded all expectations. Beautiful setting, lovely spacious room and bathroom. The staff was super helpful and Michelle's breakfasts are perfectly prepared and presented and the menu changes every day.

Returning guests to the Knysna Belle, our favourite guest house. We love visiting Knysna and staying on Leisure isle at the Knysna Belle. Michelle and Gabby are very friendly and take care of all our needs, an absolute pleasure staying there. I highly recommend it. It’s position in front of the lagoon for the views, leisurely walks on the isle or on the lagoon at low tide, is ideal. Most comfortable room (Emu) with doors opening onto a large patio overlooking the lagoon and the heads, spectacular! Scrumptious breakfast everyday, what a treat! Can’t wait for our next visit there!

The Knysna Belle is a fabulous place to stay. It's is a beautifully appointed and maintained house with spectacular views over the water. Leisure Island is beautiful and away from crowds though it is an easy journey to the centre. Michelle is a wonderful host. Her local knowledge and attention to detail is top class. The only downside to our stay was that it was not for longer!

The place and the staff are absolutely phenomenal! Attention to detail is their no.1 priority! Michelle went the extra mile whenever a special request came her way and all restaurant recommendation were on point! Kayaks, bicycles, fishing equipment were freely available throughout our stay and she even set up the fishing rods with literally hook, line and sinkers! Thank you for making our stay memorable.
