Chaweng Regent Beach Resort Reviews

We absolutely loved the hotel. We ordered the deluxe room with outdoor bathtub, and they gave us a small room, so I suggest you check you got what you paid for. We asked to change rooms and after that everything was amazing. The breakfast is good, there are free yoga and Pilates classes, the location is great. Would really recommend.

The staff there were excellent and very friendly. There were issues with day beds by the pool as people would leave their towels there all day, it needed more policing by staff. By the third day there were never any pool towels or day beds available. Cleaning of the rooms took most of the day which was annoying as they would knock in the afternoon when you were getting ready to go out. You weren't supposed to flush toilet paper down the toilet (so much for a 5 star resort). My friends room was infested with wasps, they sprayed the room however, you could not enter for 2 hours. It was expensive in comparison to other hotels where we have received 5 star service.

Perfect location, amazing staff….. my only issue was being in an adjoining room…. We could hear every conversation, noises I would have rather have not heard……Children screaming and crying, alarms going off, conference calls at 4.45am….. banging doors, shouting…… I was glad to leave for our next destination to get some sleep….

The location is great, and the room was spacious and comfortable. However, the smell could be improved. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Great location and very warm reception with excellent staff. The only problem is with the condensation of the AC system which made the room extremely damp and they are trying to get this fixed.

Very old rooms toilet are very small very close to the wall. Every time you stand up you hit your leg.

I did not like the hotel. Looks like five stars from the outside but the service is suitable for a three star hotel. A small pool, in the second pool a cocktail bar not tasty, staff not nice. And the worst - mosquitoes in the room. Although they upgraded our classic room to premium, not satisfied.

We enjoyed our stay in your hotel. Good location to n chaweng beach with a pool on the beach. Very clean and staff are great.

Breakfast is very lousy and coffee machine. It takes 7 1/2 minutes to make one coffee. there’s no much selection to eat sleeping room floor are very old include furniture swimming pool is good

This resort, of which rate is mid or a lil higher than average is quite exaggerated by the western and European people. As an Asian traveller, the overall service of this resort has failed to get more than 3 stars and to their room rate compared to the other same level(rate) resorts. The standard room is quite smaller than expected even though we are small asian people. Cleaner no change broken shower gel dispenser even though we made it on purpose opened to make them recognized. But it was still as it was and not cleaned the shower room shelf. Amenities not refilled at all, way enough 4 sanitary bags, though. Wifi is horrible. Only one signal. I don't recommend this resort at this rate. I'm now writing this review in another resort room that is right next to this resort. The rate is lower than almost 1/3, wifi hub in each room(full signal), standard room size is 2 times bigger, only difference is that here no kids are allowed. Chaweng regent beach resort service has been worn out by Western family Travellers. Will not visit anymore.

Superb hotel, very nice laid out, with two great pools. Highly recommend in Chaweng.
