"Located right on the omotesando leading to Kotohira-gu Shrine, it's incredibly convenient for sightseeing. The hotel offers four private onsen baths available on a first-come, first-served basis with no extra charge, which is a great perk, in addition to a large public onsen. It would be even more perfect if the onsen had an outdoor section. The cleanliness, rooms, and dining were all absolutely superb and thoughtfully executed. However, despite the front desk staff using translation software, communication was still a bit challenging. It took over half an hour to complete the check-in process, which was a less smooth experience compared to other hotels."

"The 400-year-old hot spring hotel building and courtyard are very distinctive. The basic room type and style were booked, and the view outside the window was also very good. The courtyard is small but exquisite. Breakfast and dinner are very ceremonial, the ingredients are all local specialties, and the fish is very fresh. From the back mountain of the hotel, you can go to Kotohira-gu Shrine, passing the observation deck of Kotohira Park and the old Konpira-daishiba (Kinmaru-za). There are no tourists along the way and it is very quiet. The bathroom in the room is a bit small, and you may hit your head easily when you stand up, so you need to be careful, but everything else is good."

"This hot spring hotel is situated very close to the Kotohira train station. Our booking included set dinner and breakfast buffet. Food is delicious and you get pretty full. Room is spacious and air-con is cool which is crucial during the hot summer. The hot spring is segregated between men and women; opens until midnight. There is a free shuttle bus available which takes you to and from the train station. I arrived at Kotohira around noon and that morning I had the hotel staff where I stayed in another town to call this onsen hotel to pick me up. Very happy with my stay!"

"The hotel is not far from the station and there is a hotel shuttle bus, which is very convenient. On the way to the hotel, there is a shopping street, which is very good. Breakfast and dinner are buffets, public baths and private styles are very good and worth recommending."

"Superb service! As many says this is a hidden gem. Place is a quaint cosy Japanese style. Very new and comfortable. Note that check in is in the small shop selling pets items. Breakfast at Mori cafe is good. There is no onsen but u can have a good soak. Shared bathrooms but super clean! Definitely will recommend!"

"The room is specious for keeping 2 medium sized suitcases. The location is convenient with a Lawson and a supermarket downstairs. Staff are friendly. The only imperfect thing is the public bath is so small which could allow 4-5 guests to use."

"The location is the best, but free parking, new renewed facilities, clean, modern and artistic sense, spacious rooms, mini-mini refrigerator, hair dryer, air conditioning. However, if you go alone, it may be scary to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night ㅋㅋ. Check in at a pretty cafe on the first floor, there is also an elevator"
