Hotels in New West Bus Station, Kunming

I pay more attention to details, especially in hotels. After checking in, I was completely attracted by the place. The hotel has done a great job with the details. I stayed in a parent-child room, which had a small slide, a Minions theme, and even a separate washbasin for the children. The bathtub is so convenient, and a disposable bathtub cover is also provided. The bathroom shower room, toilet and restroom are all separated. Not only convenient, but also clean. The experience is very good. It even surpasses some big-name quasi-five-star hotels.

The hotel's service and hygiene performance exceeded expectations. Smart home, excellent sound insulation, not noisy at all, very good internet, rich breakfast variety. Highly recommended.

The hotel opened 25 years ago, and the overall facilities are excellent. The front desk was very friendly and any questions we had were responded to quickly. The parent-child room is very nice, with two bedrooms and private bathrooms. (Curious: Why is there no sofa in the public area?) There are many loopholes in the service, and there is even a bug that the renovation next door is going on early in the morning. (I was very angry because we were in a hurry to check in until the early morning, and Duang Duang Duang woke us up directly) It's quite pet-friendly, but if they don't allow pets into the restaurant, either tell them when you check in, or put up a ”No Pets Allowed” sign at the restaurant entrance. I was halfway through my meal when they told me that pets were not allowed in, which... (In the end, since we were the only ones in the restaurant, the staff kindly let us continue eating) The communication emotional value was negative. There were few people dining in the restaurant, and the staff were communicating loudly about internal matters, which was very awkward and speechless. Currently there is no telephone in the room, and the elevator has no access control. Communication is done through WeChat, which is more like a homestay. I like making phone calls 🤙. The problems are not big, but details determine success or failure.

The service of the little brother and sister at the front desk is very enthusiastic and answers all questions. The newly opened facilities and equipment in the hotel are very new, and there are also robots to deliver things. Especially the bed was very soft and I had a wonderful sleep! The breakfast was also very rich, but I didn't take any photos. We stayed on a high floor and the view was great.

Was this the best hotel in Kunming? Very possible. There’s are some really nice places to stay in the city, but the staff and the breakfast here were exceptional, so much so that I would not stay anywhere else next time I come. The staff working at the front desk were soooooo amazing and helped us with transport, restaurants and recommendations for places to see and things to do and eat. They made is super fun and unforgettable. The room was wonderful and the beds very comfy as well. The hotel is situated in a small commercial area, so you can go out and take walks and have all sorts of foods, or go watch a movie, place arcade. The breakfast… definitely get the breakfast. The ladies in the kitchen cook up a feast every morning and everything was fresh, delicious and the coffee was amazing. This place also has an amazing tea room built in and is suppppper instagrammable, if you’re into that kind of thing. Highly recommend this Z Hotels.

The hotel is close to Huapu Road and is a good choice among the surrounding hotels. The service attitude of the lady who checked in at the front desk was also very good. There is a halal beef restaurant, which is crowded every day for those who don't eat pork. A ******* noodle restaurant has also opened next to the hotel, which tastes very good. The facilities and equipment in the room are also very complete. What surprised me most is that there is an ironing machine in the room, so those with obsessive-compulsive disorder don't have to worry about wrinkled clothes anymore. Some small commodities in the room are charged, so everyone should pay attention. The bedding is also very clean, and you can get the sun when you get up early. After all, Kunming's weather is changeable, and the hotel is not on a high floor, but the confidentiality is very good, which is very good. Everyone's experience is different, but for me, it's great to be able to stay in this hotel at this price. You can close your eyes and enter.

All the staff including the cleaners and restaurant staff were friendly, courteous and helpful. Buffet breakfast was great. The hotel is really great value for money.
