I often travel on business, and this is my first time staying at the Ramada Hotel on Changhong Road in Kunming. The room is very warm and clean. The front desk staff is very enthusiastic and even gave us milk. The room also comes with drinks and Yunnan small-grain coffee. The breakfast is varied and the price is very reasonable. What an experience! Like something out of a romance novel, from the extravagant entrance, to the sweeping stair cases, to the Louis 16th furniture, including artwork, gilt edges, romance and comfort... it had the lot. The Spa facilities were amazing. Pools, pools and more pools! Manicured grassed areas, intimate treed walkways, arches, marble, stone, statues, ponds and fountains. Just delightful. The staff were amazing as well. No English at reception, but they were quick with the translators. Definitely felt like a queen at this place. Location was a bit strange...half way between city centre and airport, the surrounds were primarily industrial, and main attractions were about 20 minutes away by Didi, but the price to convenience ratio was still good. Definitely recommend it, even if just for the furnishings!

Of course, most of the time I prefer to go to the lounge area outside the lobby to have tea and chat with everyone. The proprietress Xiaomei sister provided everyone with good quality black tea and white tea old tea heads for free, as well as refreshments. Sitting there and chatting with the guests from the sky and blue sea north, I felt very relaxed. I like this accommodation atmosphere very much and can meet many new friends. Every morning, Sister Xiaomei carefully prepares breakfast for everyone and takes care of everyone's stomach. There are apple trees, pomegranate trees, beautiful morning ox and small daisies in the small garden. When I came back at night, the small courtyard was brightly lit and reserved for us, which made people instantly put down the fatigue of the journey. I went to a few carefully selected travel routes recommended by Xiaomei sister and re-acquainted Kunming. It was really great! When I went home, I also took the various good things that Xiaomei shared with me. I like it so much and feel at home. Will come again often.
