Location of hotel is decent, but please note that as stated on the information page - that this hotel is situate within 'no car zone'. Taxi, cars are not allowed. You will have to drag your luggage for about 150m or so (but the staff helped us with the luggage). No lift, and the escalator between the 2nd and 3rd floor was not working (and seems not to be working for a long time) - but then again the staff helped us carry our luggage up the stairs. Breakfast was mediocre, had made to order noodles. Rooms were clean, had abit of bathroom issue (but the staff was prompt in reply, but nothing can be done). Corridors reek of smoke (but I suppose most Hotels in China do not have designated non smoking rooms / non smoking floors. Over all, decent experience for the price. Front desk service, and reply via Wechat was prompt and good

The location of the hotel in the center of Kunming is excellent. The building is designed in a lovely warm style, not an anonymous cold chain hotel. There is a cafe on the top floor with a roof terrace where a small breakfast is served. Our spacious room was simply and modernly furnished, let's call it Mubi style. Unfortunately, the noise from the water pipes in the neighboring room was a bit disturbing at times. I would stay here again anytime.

Everything about this hotel is great. From the location, room and service. It's just a short walk to Nanping Streer. Room is clean and service were top notch. The staff were well manners and friendly. They even prepared herb foot bath for us and left a note for us to use it after long walk. The breakfast set taste great and the portion os big too. Will definitely stay here again when I am back to Kunming.
